Government Expands Its Arsenal Of Weapons and Ammo As It Takes Away Your Defenses After the Sandy Hook tragedy, Obama tried to change the narrative on gun control to make it about protecting our children. He has never been a fan of the Second Amendment and his actions as President prove his intent is to take away your rights under the 2nd Amendment. He is hoping that the news cycle will take the focus off of gun control and you will forget that he is working behind the scenes with Congress and Attorney General Eric Holder to accomplish this. Obama has announced he plans to take at least 23 executive actions toward disarming America. Once they disarm us, it’s over. Stand up for freedom, protect yourself against tyranny and demand Congress honor the rights we are guaranteed under our Constitution. Congress must know that we the people do not support gun control legislation. We must keep talking about the Second Amendment and the reason for its existence, which is not recreational, as they would have you believe, but rather to protect citizens from a tyrannical federal government, the very likes of which we have seen less than four years of Barack Hussein Obama. Every single Member of Congress needs to know that we will not compromise our Constitutional rights, and we will hold those who do accountable in 2014, 2016, and beyond. Obama has given his marching orders and faithful supporters such as Eric Holder and Rahm Emanuel are carrying them out. Emanuel, now the mayor of Chicago, has called for banks to stop lending to gun makers. This brazen move prompted Texas Senator Ted Cruz to respond, “Your continued anti-gun crusade may well cause some to wonder if the interests of the citizens of Chicago are being sacrificed in pursuit of a partisan agenda.” And then Cruz told Emanuel he should mind his own business and stay out of the affairs of Texans. Eric Holder, who has always been anti-gun, was probably chomping at the bit to do Obama’s bidding. He has released three proposals to strengthen the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). The proposals would give local law-enforcement agencies access to the FBI gun-sale database, and records of denied weapons sales would be preserved indefinitely. The same Democrats who have not considered keeping records on illegal aliens are willing to intrude on the rights of legitimate American citizens. Obama is surrounded by armed protection 24 hours a day, and so is his family. He doesn’t believe you deserve the same benefit. And while Senator Dianne Feinstein and Congress work to overturn the ban on assault weapons, the Department of Homeland Security has stocked up on 7,000 full automatic assault rifles and labeled them “Personal Defense Weapons.” DHS has also ordered 21.6 million rounds of ammunition, on top of the 1.6 billion they have acquired over the past ten months. You will be disarmed; the government will not be. Samuel Adams proclaimed, “The Constitution shall never be construed… to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.” And there are many more quotes by our forefathers outlining the Second Amendment’s intent. Unfortunately, liberals have abandoned our Constitution. Unless we stop every one of their methodical and deliberate actions against the foundation of this country, America, as we know it will cease to exist. Obama is barely into his second term and his intent to destroy our Constitution could not be clearer. The fight to save the Second Amendment is only the beginning. Once they disarm us, every right we are guaranteed under the Constitution will be up for grabs. It is imperative that we join together and refuse to allow Barack Obama to destroy this nation.
