MEN OF PEACE
"I don't know how to save the world. I don't have the answers or The Answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth's inhabitants, none of us will survive - nor will we deserve to." Leonard Peltier

Government fulfills Accuser’s role through expansive law

Government fulfills Accuser’s role through expansive law

The concept of Law has been misunderstood as its been handed down over time.
Proverbs 1 defines law:
2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
7 The fear (reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.“KJV

What law was never meant to be is a list of accusing ordinances to restrict individuals in their free exercise of God’s instruction, although this is precisely what it has become when the changing concept of law is traced through the ages. Written law, the Ten Commandments being its physical arrival on the scene, produces condemnation for one’s inability to reach the unattainable standard rather than inspiring good behavior. And condemnation produces fear—the fear of not being able to keep that law or high standard, which results in fear of punishment for missing that mark of perfection.

The sequence of this truth—Law brings condemnation (which results in fear)—is addressed by our nation’s Founders in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The documents evidence how law was meant to be liberty bestowed by the Creator as opposed to granted by man’s fabrication. They confirm the difference between free thought and action, and that of restricted thought and action. The first follows Spirit, the second obeys invented material or substantive boundaries. Both guide the people but from opposite conscience—one, from inside the individual fed by God; the second, imposed upon the individual is devised by man.

These founding documents are the worldly reflection of the story of Genesis where the concept of outward Law originates. Whether or not one believes scripture as fact or sees it as allegory, the truth of law as described in Proverbs 1, is Grace in effect. Yet what has become the written Law now combats Grace, and is also described as Flesh versus Spirit. The beginnings of this opposition is told in Genesis, and we still live the manifestation of that truth. Take a few moments to follow this, please…

The garden that God created for Man was perfect. Everything was provided for Life—all food for the body and the spirit. There was every kind of delectable to nourish the physical, incredible beauty to satisfy the senses, and, best of all, intimate communion with the Creator to fill the spirit. Man had free access to eat of the Tree of Life and only one commandment given: do not eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (Gen 2:17).

The question is, why did God forbid partaking of learning of Good and Evil but encourage eating of Life? The two trees are a picture of the difference between written Law that can only show the inadequacy of frail humanity, and Grace, the completeness of God that is a gift to His creation through faith. Written Law (or knowledge of good and evil) can only point out our shortfalls. In other words, this Law condemns man and has no capacity to improve or laud him for his efforts; it is a demand made to reach an unachievable standard. Oppositely, there is only one way of realizing completeness, and that is receiving the unearned gift of Grace (life) because written Law (knowledge of good and evil) will only tell you what’s wrong and cannot correct it.

The struggle for man has ever since been thisto climb out of a pit of blame for an inability to comply with the impossible facets of written law, the additional components that are constantly growing in number and depth with only one purposeto stipulate conformity of behavior.

Man’s written law equals the loss of individualism and requires license as a provision to do what is unlawful. Payment for license is extracted either monetarily (a tax before the offense) or punitively (a fine after the offense is committed). License will not eliminate the offense or fulfill it.

Once man had assumed the role of lawgiver, by classifying good and evil (in accordance with the knowledge imparted by the fruit of the tree), law became the forbiddance of independent conduct in order to bring individuals into collective conformity. And a tax (i.e. license) was charged for nonconformity. Why else would gays lobby for the ability to obtain a marriage license? In fact, why is a license, dispensed by government, necessary to marry? Could it be the underlying aim of government is to outlaw a natural institution, making all marriage a nonconformity of society that requires a tax?

All one need do is observe how modern culture has defamed marriage as an outmoded institution and yet, the dissolution of marriage has led to the collapse of the family. Where family once provided sound guidance to bring progeny to maturity (Proverbs 1, again), children now grow up in aimlessness. Having no purpose instilled in them, youth are unable to make wise decisions and end up relying on the control imposed by man’s law, making them wards of government both physically and spiritually. There is loss of individual freedom in exchange for license.

Take this into account of how man’s law, growing unrestrained at the behest of a controlling political system, brings fear to average citizens as a result of slacking in their responsibility. It is a picture of what the disintegrating family breeds—aimless self-focus.

An example:

As the Affordable Care Act was promoted as free healthcare for all in need, the American Medical Association supported the massive reconfiguration of the healthcare industry. Doctors, like most Americans, were already too busy to give proper attention to the massive regulation that the bill’s passage would guarantee. The quasi-governmental AMA management, none who had personal stake in individual practice any longer, led members and non-members alike down the road into license hell. Wooed by power and flattery, the AMA fell in line and doctors were unwittingly drafted into the lie.http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/why-the-ama-endorses-obamacare-but-your-doctor-does-not/

Now, six years later, the small practitioners are being overwhelmed by the backbreaking workload to comply with the thousands of additional new regulations applied via the law. Fear of inability to comply added to the stress of possible fines and taxes, all of which could fold a medical practice. The result of oppressive written law is condemnation applied by the burgeoning bureaucracy that doesn’t care about consequences from the regulatory impositions. Paper-pushers are only interested in their own benefits and paycheck, all else be damned, and, well, now it is.

Taking the loss of freedom (Life) to a basic level of unforgiving law (Good and Evil), note this story of a four-year-old denied her Oreo cookies because man’s pointless law forbade them as “unhealthy.“Yet who determines what is healthful? Agencies empowered by regulation that was instituted as the individual stood by watching the enactment of condemning law, which fixes nothing.

This isn’t as confusing as it appears. The Law has taken on the role of the accuser, the prosecutor, which is what the name “Satan"means, and man became the accused when he was offered the choice between Law (Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil) and Grace (Tree of Life) in the very beginning. Foolishly, he chose outside law and the condemnation and fear that came with it. The opposite of this law that has grown into unfettered government, is the Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness, which the founding of this nation intended to return to man from the hands of despots—the accusers, the lawyers (Pg. 84). Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances...http://tinyurl.com/SLPolytx

The Founders understood the implications of debilitating regulation, how it crushes men’s vision, hope and industry by inspiring fear of authority, which, in their case, was the King’s Law. They had lived the torment of it and rebelled in order to lay the Cornerstone of individual liberty as God originally intended (Pg. 61). The words of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution return law to its rightful place as naturally delivered freedom through God’s spirit of mercy, the Grace that He offered in the Tree of Life.http://tinyurl.com/SLPolytx

The dilemma now before this nation is whether we, the individuals who benefit from that Life, will stand by as Washington chooses Law.
