Rockhounding

California's geological forces have created one of the widest varieties of rocks and minerals found in any state. This rock and mineral wealth has long been recognized by rockhounds even before the gold rush days.old miner

Early rockhounds were prospectors looking for valuable minerals and gemstones for commercial purposes. Eventually, however, more people were drawn to rockhounding for recreational purposes, mainly for the beauty that rocks and minerals provide.

By the 1930s, interest in rockhounding increased significantly and it was during this period that rockhounding groups were formed and collecting areas in the desert were publicized.

With increased popularity of rockhounding, some rockhounds regarded certain areas as their own and feared that other collectors would deplete their rocks and minerals. This led to substantial amounts of material being removed and an increase in mining claims. By the 1960s the government saw a need to regulate the collection of rocks and minerals on public lands.

Visitors to the Mojave Desert often ask where they can rockhound. Perhaps the best source of information is rock, gem, and mineral groups found in communities throughout southern California. Libraries, bookstores, and "gem and mineral shows" are also very good sources of published information. Although any hill, mountain, or wash can provide some wonderful rock and mineral discoveries, the following listed areas are some of the well-known sites visited by rockhounds in which good samples can still be found.

Many rockhounding sites require hiking or driving to remote areas on sandy or rocky roads where there is a possibility of getting stuck. It is always a good idea to travel in a group and to bring plenty of drinking water with you when traveling in the desert. If you must travel alone, be sure to let someone know of your plans. Remember to stay on designated open roads. Cross country travel is illegal, as is driving in designated Wilderness Areas.

Rules and Regulations

Part 8365 of Title 43 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) provide for the collecting of "reasonable quantities" of rocks, minerals, semiprecious gemstones, and invertebrate and plant fossils of non-scientific importance, for personal use. With respect to rockhound material, the Field Office considers a "reasonable quantity" to be not more than can be carried in a daypack.

Regulations do not allow collecting on "developed recreation sites and areas," or where otherwise prohibited or posted. Care should be exercised not to collect minerals on mining claims. Most claimants will allow rockhounding if the individual interested in rock collecting first asks permission. Remember, it is your responsibility to determine if an area is open to collection or if you are on private land.

Petrified Wood

The collection of petrified wood is governed by regulations found in Part 3622 of Title 43 CFR. Persons may collect petrified wood for non-commercial purposes without charge, from public lands. There is a limit of 25 pounds per person per day, plus one piece (to avoid breaking a large piece) to a maximum of 250 pounds per year.

Vertebrate Fossils

The collection of vertebrate fossils is illegal on public lands without a paleontological permit. Violators will be prosecuted under the "theft of government property" provision of 18 USC (United States Code), Section 641, and may face a minimum fine of $1,000 and a year in jail, and up to $10,000 and 10 years in jail. Permits to paleontologists are available from BLM State Offices.

Prehistoric Artifacts

Virtually all sources of colored silica (agate, chalcedony, jasper, obsidian, etc.) have been historically used by Native Americans in the building of weapons and other tools. The collection of any artifacts, including projectile points, ovate bifaces, cores, flakes, and all other material worked by prehistoric cultures and now found on public lands, is prohibited by the Antiquities Act of 1906, and the Archaeological Resources Protection Act of 1979, without an archaeological permit; such permits may be obtained from BLM State Offices.

Rock for Decorative Purposes

With respect to the collecting of decorative veneer stone, the Barstow Field Office considers a "reasonable quantity" to be not more than can be carried in the trunk of a car.

Mining Claims

The requirements for location of mining claims on public lands for commercial mineral development is contained in various Federal Regulations. The information is also available in an easily readable publication entitled "Discovery, Location, Recordation, and Assessment Work for Mining Claims in California." This publication can be purchased at any BLM office. BLM field offices maintain a record of location for active and abandoned mining claims in the LR-2000 computer system.

Carbon dioxide won’t cause famines

Historian Geoffrey Parker is the author of Global Crisis: War, Climate Change and Catastrophe in the 17th Century. In a recent opinion piece, he suggested that the desperate climate from 1600 to 1700 is a template for human collapse in our twenty-first century. There are two massive flaws in his theory.http://www.nytimes.com/2014/03/23/opinion/sunday/lessons-from-the-little-ice-age.html?_r=0

Almost all past agricultural and cultural collapses occurred during little ice ages,” not during our many global warm periods. In addition, today’s seeds, fertilizers and modern farming techniques and technologies are far superior to anything mankind possessed during previous crises.

The seventeenth century was part of the 550-year Little Ice Age, the most recent of at least seven “little ice ages” that have befallen the planet since the last Pleistocene Ice Age ended some 13,000 years ago. Studying sediment deposits in the North Atlantic, Gerard Bond of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory found such centuries-longlittle ice ages beginning at 1300 AD, 600 AD, 800 BC, 2200 BC, 3900 BC, 7400 BC, 8300 BC, and perhaps at 9100 BC. In fact, these worldwide Dansgaard-Oeschger disasters arrived on a semi-regular basis some 600 times over the past million years.

Each of these icy ages blasted humanity with short, cold, cloudy growing seasons, untimely frosts, and extended droughts interspersed with heavy and violent rains. Naturally, their crops failed. Humanity’s cities starved to death, repeatedly – with seven collapses in Mesopotamia, six each for Egypt and China, two for Angkor Wat and at several calamities in Europe.

The early cultures gave the illusion of continuity: the Nile and the Yangtze always had at least a little irrigation water. However, little ice agehunger and disease drove human and animal migrations across thousands of miles and over continents, led to major invasions like the Huns into Europe’s Dark Ages, and caused the collapse of kingships and ruling dynasties around the globe.

While acknowledging the existence of the cold, chaotic periods, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has barely factored them into its computer models. The IPCC seems to think it is just coincidence that our warm and relatively stable Modern Warming directly followed the latest awful Little Ice Age.

Moreover, our recent climate has been more stable than the chaotic little ice ages.” Iraq has not had a three-century drought recently. The Volga River Valley has not been too flooded to farm for 700 years, as happened after 600 BC. British logbooks show the Little Ice Age featured more than twice as many major hurricanes making landfall in the Caribbean, compared to the twentieth century.

Parker mentions three possible driving forces for the seventeenth century collapse: volcanoes, El Niños, and the sun. There’s no cycle in the volcanoes, however, and the El Niños are too short – rarely lasting more than a year or two. That leaves the sun, and the powerful influences it has on Earth’s temperature and climate.

Indeed, Parker’s own book focuses on the Maunder Minimum (1645–1715 AD), the solar cold cycle that existed during and caused the depths of the Little Ice Age. During this time, the sun had virtually no sunspots for 70 years, significantly reducing the crop-growing warmth reaching our planet, while producing long periods of horrendous storms and floods that killed crops and ruined harvested grains.

We must compliment Parker for recognizing that the climate was the key to these global crises. He fails, however, to acknowledge that this has been a recurring pattern.

With this omission, Dr. Parker draws the wrong conclusion about the threat to future societies. There is no visible reason to expect famines today due to carbon dioxide, which improves plant growth for crops, forests, grasslands and algae, as atmospheric CO2 levels increase.
http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2013/08/12/211364006/this-pulsing-earth

The danger is the cold, chaotic weather of the little ice ages themselves. That will shrink agricultural zones and shorten growing seasons. Another such icy period is inevitably coming, though not likely in the next two centuries, if past cycles are an accurate guide.

Regardless, for the next 20-25 years, humanity will likely be in another cooling period, caused by the sun’s reduced energy output and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation. We are about 150 years into the modern warming. Since the shortest of these warm periods during the Halocene was 350 years, and they generally last 350 to 800 years, it is unlikely that we will enter another Little Ice Age for a couple more centuries.

But even a prolonged cooler period (akin to what Earth experienced 1860-1900 and 1940-1975) could create problems for some crops in some areas: such as grapes in Washington, Wisconsin and Great Britain. Mostly, though, modern crops and agricultural practices can handle colder weather and shorter growing seasons reasonably well – and certainly much better than was the case for previous generations of humans during previous colder spells

Dr. Parker nearly redeems himself by making the most valid point of all. We now have science and transportation to deal much more effectively with that cominglittle ice age.” Our biggest advantage is our modern high-yield agriculture. Today we harvest perhaps six times as much food per acre as the desperate farmers of the seventeenth century, and our yields keep rising, thanks to scientific breakthroughs like nitrogen fertilizer, pesticides and hybrid seeds.

We must also thank unfairly maligned biotechnology, which lets us grow many crops that are disease, drought and insect resistant; rice that can survive prolonged periods under water; plants that are resistant to herbicides and thus facilitate no-till farming that improves soils and reduces erosion; and specialty crops like “golden rice” that incorporate formerly missing nutrients into vital foods.http://www.allowgoldenricenow.org/

Our crop yields are also rising because of another surprising factor: more atmospheric carbon dioxide. This trace gas (400 ppm or 0.04% of Earth’s atmosphere) acts like fertilizer for plants, and thus for the animals and people who depend on them. Studies show that doubling CO2 in the air will boost the growth of herbaceous plants by about 30% to 35%; trees will benefit even more.

Indeed, satellites show that Earth’s total vegetation increased 6% just from 1982 to 1999, as CO2 levels increased. Famines in a CO2-warmed tomorrow are therefore less likely, not more.

If humans have food, they can do all the other things necessary for civilization. However, we must double food production per acre – again and rapidly – to feed the world’s oncoming peak population, and enable all people to enjoy the nutrition that Americans and Europeans already do.

Equally important, since 1960, higher yields have also saved wildlife habitat equal to a land area greater than South America from being plowed for more low-yield crops. The price of farming failure in coming decades will not be famine. Instead, it will be the loss of hundreds of millions of acres of wildlife habitats.

Misguided opposition to biotechnology, fossil fuels and increased atmospheric carbon dioxide could very well condemn millions of people to malnutrition and starvation, and numerous wildlife species to extinction.

Chinese Communist propaganda in American public schools

Chinese Communist propaganda in American public schools

Is it really wise to allow a foreign state propaganda agency to control the content of education about that country in our public schools? That’s what is happening now, thanks to the Confucius Institute, and arm of the Chinese government, funding Chinese language instruction in American schools.  David Feith reports in the Wall Street Journal:http://online.wsj.com/articles/david-feith-chinas-beachhead-in-u-s-schools-1401124980

Hanban—the Chinese state agency that supervises, funds and provides staff to Confucius Institutes—may bully teachers or censor lessons within American classrooms. (snip)

In a mere 10 years Hanban has established nearly 1,100 Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms in 120 countries, with more than 450 at U.S. grade schools and colleges. Chinese media boast that these programs today reach more than 220,000 American students, a reflection of the booming demand for Chinese-language training as China rises in economic and strategic importance. With U.S. education dollars so often wasted, it's no surprise that administrators appreciate Beijing's offer of money (often $150,000 per year), plus instructors and teaching materials.

In return, Beijing wants a PR boost. Confucius Institutes "are an important part of China's overseas propaganda setup," said Politburo Standing Committee ideology czar Li Changchun in 2009. Hence the online materials (since deleted from the Hanban website) that blamed America for drawing China into the Korean War by bombing Chinese villages, or the account still there that identifies Taiwan as "China's largest island."

Hence also the self-censorship by educators attuned to the sensitivities of their funders in Beijing. "Look, there are topics that are best not to engage in," Australian Education Department official Phil Lambert admitted during a 2011 controversy over K-12 Confucius Institutes in New South Wales. Obvious sore spots include the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, the Dalai Lama and Taiwan. Then there are the "seven taboos" that Beijing last year warned its domestic university professors to shun, including freedom of speech, universal values, judicial independence and the mistakes of the Communist Party.
http://topics.wsj.com/person/L/Dalai-Lama/5931

After North Carolina State University rescinded an invitation to the Dalai Lama in 2009, officially citing logistical difficulties, Provost Warwick Arden cited pressure from the campus's Confucius Institute director: "I don't want to say we didn't think about whether there were implications. Of course you do. China is a major trading partner for North Carolina."

“Seven taboos chills me to the bone. Let me stipulate that I am all for Chinese language education in our classrooms. Having struggled with Japanese and Chinese at the university level, I realize that the younger one gets a start, the better off one will be. Especially with a tonal language like Chinese, youngsters have the flexibility to learn and incorporate sounds that are much more difficult to master later on. And studying the writing system, with a couple of thousand ideograms to memorize, really stretches the mind. You see, the characters are permutations and combinations of sub-parts, usually called “radicals” in English. Learning to categorize them, and see how different parts can yield different families of meaning, is one of the factors behind the high level of excellence many East Asian youngsters achieves in math.

But allowing China, with its many taboos and political sensitivities to dominate topics studied, is a huge mistake. This is a corrupt and brutal dictatorship. The youngsters studying Chinese are likely to remain interested in and in contact with Chinese affairs the rest of their lives. They should not be propagandized into an outlook towards the politics of East Asia that is dictated by the Beijing bullies.

The average aid supplied, 150k per school, is roughly the cost, with benefits and pension, of a middling school administrator, of whom we have a super-abundance. Since this covers only a fraction of the total costs of education, in effect, American taxpayers are subsidizing Chinese propaganda.

Keep Chinese language instruction, but don’t keep foreign funding with propaganda strings attached.

Marine in Mexican Misery

Since March 31, a United States Marine has been in custody in a Mexican prison. Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi was detained after making a wrong turn near the Mexican border. He told the Mexican police that there was no way to make a U-turn on the road he was traveling, thus he entered Mexican territory by mistake.

At the time of his arrest, Tahmooressi was in possession of three legally registered guns. The guns were safely stored in his truck, so the Marine was no reckless lawbreaker trying to commit crimes in Mexico. Tahmooressi told the Mexican authorities about the guns and followed their instructions. His polite cooperation was ignored by a Mexican military official, who seemed intent on bringing the Marine to prison. According to Tahmooressi, the officer made a calculation that “three guns…equals prison.”

A Marine entering Mexican territory by mistake should be allowed to immediately return to the United States, no questions asked. Sadly, he was arrested, subjected to regular beatings, verbally harassed and even chained to his bed. Eventually, he may be used as a bargaining chip by the Mexican government.

Right after his arrest, Tahmooressi was frantic and worried that he “would be raped and killed.” He tried to escape, but was caught and then tortured. He was hit until he his jaw was dislocated and punched in the stomach until he was “gasping for air.” He was also stepped on, stripped naked, and immobilized.

The treatment was so harsh; Tahmooressi began to worry about his loved ones and was truly “afraid for my family.” Eventually, the media picked up on the case and this attention has forced Mexican authorities to stop their barbaric treatment.

It is outrageous that one of our heroes is undergoing this type of unacceptable detention and abuse. His only crime was making a wrong turn, not trying to enter Mexico illegally.

It is quite a contrast to see how Mexico handles Americans who enter their country illegally versus how we treat Mexican illegal immigrants. While our Marine is being brutalized, millions of illegal aliens from Mexico receive government benefits and are able to secure employment. They are not tortured, they are rewarded. In fact, with the President’s unilateral adoption of the Dream Act, youngsters from Mexico who illegally enter the country never have to worry about being deported.

After such as infuriating incident, it is imperative that President Obama takes action. At a minimum, the President should call Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and demand that Tahmooressi be released within the hour. We have plenty of leverage with Mexico. For instance, Obama could threaten to complete the border fence if Tahmooressi is not released. He could also threaten to start immediately deporting all illegal immigrants from Mexico. This would devastate Mexico’s economy, which depends on their illegal immigrants sending billions of dollars back home to family members.

Instead of taking tough steps to solve the problem, sadly, it seems that President Obama is unconcerned with the issue. While Secretary of State John Kerry has commented, President Obama has been silent. In fact, as in the VA scandal, he may claim that he only learned about the incident on the news. To generate a presidential response, Tahmooressi’s mother started a petition on the White House website calling for her son’s release. It has already generated over 85,000 signatures in less than a month.

The total lack of urgency is unacceptable. Until our Marine is safely returned to our country, relations with Mexico should be strained to say the least. A real superpower would not allow one of its soldiers to be improperly detained. If we are still a world superpower, it is time we started acting like one.

The Greatest Murder Machine in History

The Greatest Murder Machine in History

By Mike Konrad

When one thinks of mass murder, Hitler comes to mind. If not Hitler, then Tojo, Stalin, or Mao. Credit is given to the 20th-century totalitarians as the worst species of tyranny to have ever arisen. However, the alarming truth is that Islam has killed more than any of these, and may surpass all of them combined in numbers and cruelty.

The enormity of the slaughters of the "religion of peace" are so far beyond comprehension that even honest historians overlook the scale. When one looks beyond our myopic focus, Islam is the greatest killing machine in the history of mankind, bar none.

The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. -- Will Durant, as quoted on Daniel Pipes site.http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/32812

Conservative estimates place the number at 80 million dead Indians.

According to some calculations, the Indian (subcontinent) population decreased by 80 million between 1000 (conquest of Afghanistan) and 1525 (end of Delhi Sultanate). -- Koenrad Elst as quoted on Daniel Pipes site,http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/201152

80 Million?! The conquistadors' crimes pale into insignificance at that number. No wonder Hitler admired Islam as a fighting religion. He stood in awe of Islam, whose butchery even he did not surpass.http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Quotations_on_Islam_from_Notable_Non-Muslims#Adolf_Hitler

Over 110 Million Blacks were killed by Islam.

... a minimum of 28 Million African were enslaved in the Muslim Middle East.  Since, at least, 80 percent of those captured by Muslim slave traders were calculated to have died before reaching the slave market, it is believed that the death toll from 1400 years of Arab and Muslim slave raids into Africa could have been as high as 112 Millions.  When added to the number of those sold in the slave markets, the total number of African victims of the trans-Saharan and East African slave trade could be significantly higher than 140 Million people. -- John Allembillah Azumah, author of The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa: A Quest for Inter-religious Dialogue
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zM_MzkLKPY&t=7m19s

Add just those two numbers alone together, and Islam has surpassed the victims of 20th-century totalitarianism. However, it does not end there. Add the millions who died at the hand of Muslims in the Sudan in our lifetime.

Much of Islamic slavery was sexual in nature, with a preference for women. Those men who were captured were castrated. The mulatto children of the women were often killed, which explains why Islam was not demographically shifted towards the black race, unlike slaves in the West, who bore children to breed a mestizo class. Add in those dead children, and we arrive at well over 200 million.

Remember that in the 7th century, North Africa was almost totally Christian. What happened to them?

By the year 750, a hundred years after the conquest of Jerusalem, at least 50 percent of the world's Christians found themselves under Muslim hegemony… Today there is no indigenous Christianity in the region [of Northwest Africa], no communities of Christians whose history can be traced to antiquity.-- "Christianity Face to Face with Islam," CERC
http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/history/world/wh0145.htm

What happened to those Christian millions? Some converted. The rest?  Lost to history.

We know that over 1 million Europeans were enslaved by Barbary Pirates. How many died is anybody's guess.

...for the 250 years between 1530 and 1780, the figure could easily have been as high as 1,250,000 -  BBC, http://195.188.87.10/history/british/empire_seapower/white_slaves_01.shtml

In the Middle Ages…

…many slaves were passed through Armenia and were castrated there to fill the Muslim demand for eunuchs. -- Slavery in Early Medieval Europe.

The same practice ran through Islamic Spain. North Europeans captured from raids up to Iceland, or purchased, were butchered in the castratoriums of Iberia. Many died from the operations that ran for centuries.

The number of dead from the Muslim conquest of the Balkans and Southern Italy is unknown, but again the numbers add up, surely into the millions over the centuries. Don't forget the 1.5 million Armenian Christians killed by the Turks during WWI. We do know that over five centuries, vast numbers of Christian boys were kidnapped to become Islamic Janissary mercenaries for the Turks. Add those in, too.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janissary

Muslims prized blonde women for their harems; and so enslaved Slavic women were purchased in the bazaars of the Crimean Caliphate. In Muslim Spain, an annual tribute of 100 Visigothic [blonde] women was required from Spain's Cantabrian coast.

For decades, 100 virgins per year were required by the Muslim rulers of Spain from the conquered population.  The tribute was only stopped when the Spaniards began fighting back -- Jihad: Islam's 1,300 Year War Against Western Civilisation

Add in the death toll from the Reconquista and the numbers climb higher.

Research has shown that the Dark Ages were not caused by the Goths, who eventually assimilated and Christianized:

…the real destroyers of classical civilization were the Muslims. It was the Arab Invasions... which broke the unity of the Mediterranean world and turned the Middle Sea -- previously one of the world’s most important trading highways -- into a battleground. It was only after the appearance of Islam... that the cities of the West, which depended upon the Mediterranean trade for their survival, began to die. -- Islam Caused the Dark Ages
http://uhrao.blogspot.com/2013/02/islam-caused-dark-ages.html

Add in those unknown millions who died as a consequence.

How many know the horrors of the conquest of Malaysia? The Buddhists of Thailand and Malaysia were slaughtered en masse.

When attacked and massacred by the Muslims, the Buddhists initially did not make any attempt to escape from their murderers. They accepted death with an air of fatalism and destiny. And hence they are not around today to tell their story. – History of Jihad.org
http://www.historyofjihad.org/malaysia.html

We may never know the numbers of dead.

After Muslims came to power in the early 15th century, animist hill peoples eventually disappeared due to their enslavement and ‘incorporation’ into the Muslim population of Malaya, Sumatra, Borneo, and Java via raids, tribute and purchase, especially of children. Java was the largest exporter of slaves around 1500. -- Islam Monitor

http://www.islammonitor.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3436:islams-se-asian-slavery-and-jihad-indonesia-malaysia-southern-thailand-philippines-part-l-in-islams-genocidal-slavery&catid=170:slavery&Itemid=59

In the same manner, Islam arrived in the Philippines. Only the appearance of the Spanish stopped a total collapse, and confined Islam to the southern islands.

The coming of the Spanish saved the Philippines from Islam, except for the Southern tip where the population had been converted to Islam.-- History of Jihad.org
http://www.historyofjihad.org/malaysia.html

Again, the number of dead is unknown, but add them to the total.

The animist Filipinos were eager to ally with the Spanish against Islam. In fact, much of Southeast Asia welcomed the Spanish and Portuguese as preferable to Islam.

...from the 17th century successive Thai kings allied themselves with the seafaring Western powers – the Portuguese and the Dutch and succeeded in staving off the threat of Islam from the Muslim Malays and their Arab overlords.-- History of Jihad.org
http://www.historyofjihad.org/malaysia.html

A few galleons and muskets were not enough to conquer Asia. Islam had made the Europeans initially appear as liberators, and to a certain extent they were. Who were the real imperialists?

Even today...

A Christian Girl beheaded in Indonesia by Muslims. Muslims consider it a holy duty to kill Christians, Buddhists, Jews who refuse to abjure their religion and embrace Islam, as commanded by the Quran, http://historyofjihad.org/quran.html

Add this all up. The African victims. The Indian victims. The European victims. Add in the Armenian genocide. Then add in the lesser known, but no doubt quite large number of victims of Eastern Asia. Add in the jihad committed by Muslims against China, which was invaded in 651 AD. Add in the Crimean Khanate predations on the Slavs, especially their women.
http://www.historyofjihad.org/china.html

Though the numbers are not clear, what is obvious is that Islam is the greatest murder machine in history bar none, possibly exceeding 250 million dead. Possibly one-third to one-half or more of all those killed by war or slavery in history can be traced to Islam; and this is just a cursory examination.

Now consider the over 125 Million women today who have been genitally mutilated for Islamic honor's sake. In spite of what apologists tell you, the practice is almost totally confined to Islamic areas.

New information from Iraqi Kurdistan raises the possibility that the problem is more prevalent in the Middle East than previously believed and that FGM is far more tied to religion than many Western academics and activists admit. – “Is Female Genital Mutilation an Islamic Problem?” ME Quarterly
http://www.meforum.org/1629/is-female-genital-mutilation-an-islamic-problem

Once thought concentrated in Africa, FGM has now been discovered to be common wherever Islam is found.

There are indications that FGM might be a phenomenon of epidemic proportions in the Arab Middle East. Hosken, for instance, notes that traditionally all women in the Persian Gulf region were mutilated. Arab governments refuse to address the problem. -- "Is Female Genital Mutilation an Islamic Problem?" ME Quarterly
http://www.meforum.org/1629/is-female-genital-mutilation-an-islamic-problem

Remember that this has gone on for 1400 years; and was imposed on a population that had been formerly Christian or pagan.

FGM is practiced on large scale in Islamic Indonesia; and is increasing.
http://www.irinnews.org/report/90366/indonesia-female-genital-mutilation-persists-despite-ban

...far from scaling down, the problem of FGM in Indonesia has escalated sharply. The mass ceremonies in Bandung have grown bigger and more popular every year. -- Guardian
http://www.theguardian.com/society/2012/nov/18/female-genital-mutilation-circumcision-indonesia

The horrified British author of that Guardian article is still deluded that Islam does not support FGM, when in fact it is now settled that FGM is a core Islamic practice. Islamic women have been brainwashed to support their own abuse.

Abu Sahlieh further cited Muhammad as saying,"Circumcision is a sunna (tradition) for the men and makruma (honorable deed) for the women."  -- Is Female Genital Mutilation an Islamic Problem?” ME Quarterly, http://www.meforum.org/1629/is-female-genital-mutilation-an-islamic-problem

What other tyranny does this? Not even the Nazis mutilated their own women!

Unlike the 20th-century totalitarians whose killing fury consumed themselves, reducing their longevity, Islam paces itself. In the end, though slower, Islam has killed and tortured far more than any other creed, religious or secular. Unlike secular tyranny, Islam, by virtue of its polygamy and sexual predations, reproduces itself and  increases.

Other tyrannies are furious infections, which burn hot, but are soon overcome. Islam is a slow terminal cancer, which metastasizes, and takes over. It never retreats. Its methods are more insidious, often imperceptible at first, driven by demographics. Like cancer, excision may be the only cure.

So whenever you read about this or that Israeli outrage -- and there may be truth to the complaint -- place the news in context. Look whom the Israelis are fighting against. Islam is like nothing else in history.

Unfortunately for humankind, the end of the death-seeking fiery cult of Islam can only come about through a fiery death-giving weapon. Ironically such nuclear mushroom clouds would be the blazing hell-fire that the Quran talks about and acknowledges will bring about an end to Islam such that there will be no one across the globe to say “Lah ilah il Allah, Mohammed ur Rasoolallah” (There is no god but allah and Mohammed is his prophet).http://www.historyofjihad.org/quran.html

Even now I cannot understand the measure of a life, but I can tell you this. I know that when he died, his eyes were closed and his heart was open. And I'm pretty sure he was happy with his final resting place, because he was buried on the mountain. And that was against the law.

I've gone back and forth the last few days trying to decide whether or not I should even write this. In the end, I realized I would regret it if I didn't, so here it goes. I know the last time we saw each other, we weren't exactly hitting the sweetest notes-certain wasn't the way I wanted the trip to end. I suppose I'm responsible and for that, I'm sorry. But in all honestly, if I had the chance, I'd do it again. Virginia said I left a stranger and came back a husband; I owe that to you. There's no way I can repay you for all you've done for me, so rather than try, I'm just going to ask you to do something else for me-find the joy in your life. You once said you're not everyone. Well, that's true-you're certainly not everyone, but everyone is everyone. My pastor always says our lives are streams flowing into the same river towards whatever heaven lies in the mist beyond the falls. Find the joy in your life, Edward. My dear friend, close your eyes and let the waters take you home.

of the two questions asked of the dead by the gods at the entrance to heaven] Have you found joy in your life? Has your life brought joy to others?

Kopi Luwak is the world's most expensive coffee. Though for some, it falls under the category of "too good to be true." In the Sumatran village, where the beans are grown, lives a breed of wild tree cat. These cats eat the beans, digest them and then... defecate.

The villagers then collect and process the stools. It is the combination of the beans and the gastric juices of the tree cat that give Kopi Luwac...its unique flavor... and aroma.

You measure yourself by the people who measure themselves by you.

I envy people who have faith, I just can't get my head around it.

I don't know what most people say at these occasions because in all honesty, I've tried to avoid them. The simplest thing is I loved him and I miss him. Carter and I saw the world together, which is amazing when you think that only three months ago we were complete strangers. I hope that it doesn't sound selfish of me, but the last months of his life were the best months of mine. He saved my life, and he knew it before I did. I'm deeply proud that this man found it worth his while to know me. In the end, I think it's safe to say that we brought some joy to one another's lives, so one day, when I go to some final resting place, if I happen to wake up next to a certain wall with a gate, I hope that Carter's there to vouch for me and show me the ropes on the other side.

Here's something to remember when you're older  - never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a fart.

The first time he hit her, she came to me. Wouldn't let me take care of it, said it was her fault, he'd had a rough day and too much to drink. The next time he hit her, she didn't come to me. The ex told me about it. So I wanted to be a good father, so I took care of it. I called a guy who called a guy who called his friends, they didn't kill him, what they did, I don't know, but he never bothered her again, and then she said I was dead to her.

How Many Have to Die?

How Many Have to Die?

Here the Voices of a veterans and Patriots

How many have to die before people recognize Barack Obama for what he is, an incompetent ideologue, in way over his head?  Ever the sociopathic solipsist, everything is always about him, and if lives are lost in service of his place in the history books, they will not have died in vain, for there is no greater goal than the deification of Barack Obama

Just ask him; hell tell you.

The latest administration scandal involves the VA hospital system, which is alleged to have been run like a criminal enterprise. The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for Veterans Affairs has released a preliminary report raising the possibility of criminal misconduct.
http://www.va.gov/oig/pubs/vaoig-14-02603-178.pdf

It is said that as many as 40 or more veterans died unnecessarily while waiting for medical treatment they never received.

Sadly, it did not start there.

It started with Fast and Furious,’ a deliciously idiotic scheme by Barry and his mini-me, Attorney General Eric Holder, encouraging the straw purchase of thousands of guns to be taken across the border into Mexico and delivered to drug cartels in the expectation that they would be used in the commission of crimes.
http://hotair.com/archives/2013/05/21/sharyl-attkisson-something-fishys-been-going-on-with-my-computers-since-early-2011/comment-page-2/

At which point, if you can follow the logic, it was hoped that news of these crimes, committed using guns bought in America, would result in a groundswell of support for more gun control in the United States. This brilliant plan resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and at least one American. It didn’t matter; they were only Mexicans, and who cares about them?

What are the lives of hundreds of human beings when compared to Barry’s dream of being the one to take our guns?

At around the same time this was developing, the Iranian people flooded the streets of Tehran and other cities to protest fraudulent elections. The protesters, numbering in the millions, some holding signs begging for Obama’s support, were trying desperately to end the brutal theocracy that Iran had become after the overthrow of the Shah.http://hotair.com/archives/2012/02/28/did-obama-ignore-plea-for-help-from-iranian-opposition-in-2009/

What did Barry do?  Nothing. The regime was teetering on the edge. A word of support from Obama, perhaps some moral support from our government and maybe the mullahs would have fallen. How many died in those protests? Some say thousands. In the purges that followed it was said that the mullahs were executing more than a hundred people a day.

Having recently lifted some of the sanctions that were collapsing the Iranian economy, Barry is now negotiating with Iran over their desire for a nuclear weapon. However, the relaxation of sanctions has freed up billions of dollars for Iran to continue their nuclear weapons development program.http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/4328/iran-nuclear-strategy

Barry wants an agreement, any agreement, something with his name on it, perhaps the Obama Accords.” He wants to say he was the man who made the deal to end the Iranian nuclear program. The fact that this is untrue doesn’t matter, a nuclear-armed Iran will be the next president’s problem.

How many will die when Obama lets Iran get a nuclear weapon

Then you have Afghanistan. During his campaign for president, Barry often called Afghanistan the “good” war, the one we should have been fighting instead of Iraq.  Well, true to his word, under Obama in 5½ years, more Americans have died than in the entire 8 years of George W. Bush (575 under GWB versus 1,600 plus under BHO). http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2011/06/22/obamas-tough-sell-on-afghanistan

http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/obamavsbush

How’s that for "good"?

Barry’s new rules of engagement did not help. American troops could not fire first, and could not return fire if there was a possibility that civilians might be injured. When returning fire they could not fire into buildings, because civilians might also be inside.

Imagine that, Barry gave us the first war where soldiers were not allowed to shoot first.

How many American lives did that cost?

Just for good measure, in 2010, after taking months to make a decision, he announced a ‘surge’ of 30,000 new troops for his Afghan war. In the same breath, he announced their withdrawal date. Recently he announced he was going to leave 10,000 troops in the country, but they would all be withdrawn by the end of 2016.http://cnsnews.com/news/article/ali-meyer/74-us-afghan-casualties-came-after-obama-ordered-troops-increased

Barry is breaking new ground in strategic thinking. He is the first commander in chief who has dared to attack and retreat at the same time. After 2016, he plans to leave the country to the Taliban, who has been patiently waiting.

How many Afghanis will perish when the Taliban returns

He did the same with Iraq. Presented with a war that was already won before he took office, his sole requirement was to negotiate a Status of Forces Agreement with the new, democratically elected Iraqi government. This would have left a token American force in the country to protect the gains made during the years of war. He couldn’t be bothered; Barack Obama does not stoop to negotiate. He is Barack Obama.http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/bruce-thornton/the-fruit-of-obamas-abandonment-of-iraq/

Instead, he left the country to the Iranians. There are now terrorist attacks daily (that whole Shia/Sunni thing), and the civilian body count is fast approaching what it was at the height of the war. http://www.iraqbodycount.org/

What, at this point, does it matter?  Barry wanted to campaign in 2012 on ending the Iraq War and if Iraqis had to die to make that so, so be it.

How about al Qaeda? Remember, in 2012, during his bid for reelection, Barry said many times. “Al Qaeda is on the run.” Well, al Qaeda controls more territory now than ever before. Their flag flies in Fallujah, a place where many American soldiers gave their lives. They control territory from Aleppo in north Syria to well into western Iraq, over 400 miles, and offshoots of the group are making significant headway in Africa.http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/17/obama-dropping-al-qaeda-is-on-run-from-stump-speech/

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/17/obama-dropping-al-qaeda-is-on-run-from-stump-speech/

How many will die with the resurgence of al Qaeda?

In Syria, when the opposition to Assad was mostly secular, Barry did nothing, and a bloodbath ensued. Then we had his famous “red line,” and the promise to take action if Assad used chemical weapons. Well, the ‘red line” came and went and Barry just looked weak. Vladimir Putin patted him on the head and said “I got this; go play golf.”

The death toll in Syria is 140,000 and rising.http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/02/15/us-syria-crisis-toll-idUSBREA1E0HS20140215

Now he wants to do something. Today the opposition is mostly all jihadists. It is not in America’s interest to arm them… but Barry wants to do something… so what the heck?

I’m sure that will work out well.

With regard to Libya -- Barry led from behind to depose Kaddafi, admittedly a terrorist, but at that point a terrorist in rehab. Having given up his own nuclear weapons program in abject fear of George W. Bush, he was no longer a threat to anyone, especially America, but Barry wanted him gone.http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-obama-doctrine-leading-from-behind/2011/04/28/AFBCy18E_story.html

How did that work out

Barry did nothing in response to the attack on the Benghazi Consulate on 9/11/2012. He left four Americans to die as he went to bed early in order to be well rested the next day for a campaign event in Las Vegas.

Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were all unavailable for comment.

Unable to admit that he’d dropped the ball by failing to provide enough security to the consulate and then failing to prepare for potential al Qaeda attacks on the 9/11 anniversary, he then refused to call it a terrorist attack (remember, al Qaeda was supposed to be on the run). He blamed the attack on a video, bringing worldwide attention to said video. This resulted in attacks on various other American embassies the world over.
http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2012/09/201291482159758224.html

People died in those attacks, and they died because of a lie. They died for Barack Obama’s vanity.

China is poised to seize almost all of the South and East China Seas, through which much of America’s imports and exports travel. The Chinese view Barry as weak, and they know they have a window of opportunity while he remains president.

After all, the next president may not be so weak.

This will almost certainly result in war, as Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and various other states know they will be fighting for their very existence.

How many will die in that entirely avoidable conflagration?

At West Point the other day, Obama claimed that anyone who says, “America is in decline, or has seen its global leadership slip away -- are either misreading history or engaged in partisan politics.”  He seriously believes he has been successful. The man is deluded.
http://townhall.com/columnists/markdavis/2014/05/30/the-10-worst-parts-of-obamas-horrible-west-point-speech-n1845210

He is not alone. Apparently, his entire administration is delusional. Jen Psaki, a regime spokesperson, actually tried to make the argument that the president wrongly doesn't give himself enough credit for his foreign policy successes. Even the sycophant Washington press corps couldn’t abide that assertion.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/may/30/states-jen-psaki-obama-doesnt-give-himself-enough-/

Yet, I’m all for giving the president credit for every human being who dies as a result of his actions or lack of leadership, because the death toll for Barack Obama’s presidency will continue to mount long after he is gone.

In the end, I expect millions to perish in the service of Barack Obama’s vanity.

Yet, the saddest thing about his presidency is that it is impossible to predict how many will have to die for Barack Obama to feel good about himself.

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Widespread Memorial Day Black Violence Ignored by National Media

Widespread Memorial Day Black Violence Ignored by National Media

By Colin Flaherty

Black Beach Week used to get all the glory: Every Memorial Day weekend, 300,000 black people gathered in Miami Beach to get their freak on. And also create a tsunami of violence, robbery, shootings, carjackings, vandalism, mayhem, noise and trash.

But this year, many party-goers complained that Black Beach Week -- only reporters call it “Urban Beach Week” -- just wasn’t as much fun any more: Too many cops, tactical vehicles, helicopters, lights, towers, cameras, suspicion. Not enough chaos.

Not to worry: The rest of the country picked up the slack. Black mob violence over the holiday weekend was reported in more than a dozen cities around the country. Some fatal. Some comical, almost.

Let’s take a tour, starting with Cincinnati: Four days after scattered reports of black mob violence during the Memorial Day Taste of Cincinnati, local police and media are just now starting to figure out how bad it was.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/cincinnati-random-racial-attacks-aw-hell/

“General mayhem,” said one police Captain. One of the first victims was the son of the local district attorney. He and his girlfriend were helping his sister back her car out of tight parking space when a group of black people punched him, knocked him to the ground and kicked him. He has a concussion. When his girlfriend suggested that was not a good idea, they beat her too.

Police caught the aftermath on video.

The local CBS affiliate was the first to get the inkling something was wrong, very wrong. They started reporting Wednesday night that the DA’s son was just the tip of the iceberg: “There were other victims that night.  David Manz was catching a bus near the courthouse to get to his night shift at Dunkin Donuts.  He says about 20 black teenage girls attacked him and were in on the punching, kicking and stomping.  He suffered bruises, scrapes and broken ribs.”

A member of a gay country western dance group reported that members of his club were also victims of racial violence. “Three of our CRW friends were also attacked and assaulted on Sunday May 25th 2014 @ 10:00 PM.,” said Tim of the Cincinnati Rivertown Wranglers. “They were jumped and thrown out into the street at Central Pkwy and Walnut. The violence against them was also unprovoked and seemed to be racially motivated as the black teenagers were selecting white victims as people passed by.”

But black mob violence was just getting started then. Before it was over, there would be a shooting, robbings, numerous assaults and even “teens” throwing rocks at police.

Curiously, the station that first reported the racial violence did not want much to do with the story: “By most accounts, it was a successful weekend for the city of Cincinnati,” said the CBS affiliate news anchor, introducing the first report of the chaos.

Other than that, the play was just fine, Mrs. Lincoln.

We could linger on Cincinnati, with lots more details of racial violence over the Memorial Day weekend.  But we have a lot more to cover. Before we move on, let’s just say this: The most difficult part of reporting racial violence in Cincinnati -- and lots of other places -- is looking into the camera and trying to pretend this is not a regular feature of life there. Because it is.

Next stop Chicago. There the popular police blog, Second City Cop, is reporting black mob violence all over the city’s downtown over the weekend.http://secondcitycop.blogspot.com/2014/05/wilding-popping-up-again.html

“If anyone listened to zone 4 last night they would have heard that the boyfriend of a young couple was hospitalized after getting the shit beat out of him at Van Buren and State by a couple ‘urban’ youths,” reported the blog. “That multiple cars and store windows on North Michigan Ave were smashed by ‘urban youths’. That there was a massive fight between ‘urban youths’ on the Red Line platform at State and Lake that shut down the line. That there were multiple thefts of purses, laptops, phones, etc. by groups of "urban youths" celebrating the holiday.”

Other cops chimed in with more examples of black mob violence during the Memorial Day holiday.

“Coppers are pissed there was no reporting in the local press” said one Chicago officer via email. “You ask coppers on the Gold Coast. They see black mobs roaming downtown Michigan Avenue without any money. No real reason to be there but to strictly rob, beat and hurt random Whiteys.”

Steve Chapman is an editor at the Chicago Tribune who does not like it when people like Second City Cop complain his paper “embargoes” news about about racial violence. “Why do you care so much about the attackers’ race?” he wrote. “If you fear or dislike blacks, I suppose it would confirm your prejudice. But otherwise, it tells you nothing useful.”

Now you know.

Next stop: Cleveland. Some local media reported that 200 people were celebrating at a block party. But the real story is that the 200 black people were in a “massive” fight that took 30 police officers to quell. But not before three people were shot, one fatally.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/cleveland-rocks-whitegirl/

Insert here all the requisite promises from local activists that this will never happen again -- as long as they get more programs.

Let’s head over to Indianapolis.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/racial-violence-indy-500-isolated-uh/

For a good chunk of Middle America, Memorial Day means the Indy 500 -- the world’s largest sporting event. It also used to be the safest, until this weekend when one person died and others were hurt in several cases of black mob violence.

Racial violence is a regular feature of life in Indianapolis. From the Indiana Black Expo every summer, to regular groups of black people rampaging through downtown and suburban shopping malls, dozens of videos leave little doubt of that.

There is also little doubt that the local newspaper is loathe to cover it -- other than to call it random and pretend that the mob violence is somehow not limited to one racial group. A former editor at the Indianapolis Star said as much last year in an article he wrote for the Society of Professional Journalists magazine about how to cover racial crime: Don’t.

But the Indy 500 was largely separated from that, until this year. The event itself was unremarkable. But in the two days leading up to the race, black mob violence broke out in the parking lots where fans camp and gather for the race.

One person was shot and killed. Others were beaten and robbed. One woman described the scene of the killing as fights all over -- the “most dangerous” thing she had ever seen in her entire life.

“It’s the same idiots who cause all the trouble downtown and at the malls,” said one cop via email.

One local lawyer belled the cat on racial violence in this once bucolic city: “Indianapolis, you have a problem,” said Abdul Hakim-Shabazz, writing in Indiana Barrister magazine. “Your problem is young black men who are out of control.”

Let’s head on down to Memphis for some more holiday violence.  No one knows why Tequila Benton stabbed Steven Wright to death. But after it happened, a large fight broke out, and WREG caught the entire melee on camera.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/memphis-memorial-day-mayhem/

No one else died in this rolling riot. Though a grey haired grandmother did get knocked down. But at least one person said they were fighting because they were not happy the police did not stop the earlier killing.

In Baltimore, they know the drill: Minimize any discussion of frequent episodes of black mob violence in and around the upscale Inner Harbor area downtown. And if anyone notices, criticize them.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/memorial-day-baltimore-racial-violence-downtown/

That is what state legislator Pat McDonough discovered in 2012 when he and his wife were sitting at a stop light in downtown Baltimore and they witnessed hundreds of black people rampaging, fighting and creating mayhem.

With nary a cop in sight.

Soon after, McDonough asked the governor to declare the downtown a “No Go” zone until city officials made the area safe from “black people” who were “terrorizing” the area.

Democrats from all over the region lined up to take their shots at McDonough. As did the Baltimore Sun in an editorial. The same day that newspaper was on the streets, so were three more episodes of black mob violence downtown. All in the middle of the day.

Since then, downtown violence has become so bad -- and so visible on many video tapes -- that the largest employer there, T. Rowe Price, has threatened to move out if it does not improve.

That story got the full attention of Governor O’Malley -- who used to be the mayor of Baltimore. When he suggested to his successor  -- twice-removed -- Stephanie Rawlings Blake that she add more police patrols downtown, she rebuffed him with the now standard answer: We are not going to arrest our way out of this mess, she told reporters in reply.

And besides, she was proud that Baltimore only arrested 50,000 people a year -- down from the 100,000 a year of the O’Malley era.

One year after making that threat, T. Rowe Price is still there. And so is black mob violence. On Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, the Baltimore Sun stayed true to form: Hundreds of black people were on the streets, fighting, robbing and creating mayhem. Here’s how the paper described it: “A large group of teens … assaulted people with bricks and sticks and robbed at least one battered person of a phone.”

At least the paper allowed comments, however heavily moderated.

And the Mayor was true to her word as well: Only two were arrested.

A ray of light in Baltimore: A white woman recently wrote a story where she complained about crime and violence. She said she constantly felt like “a target.” At least the folks at the downtown Union Memorial Hospital can feel safer: They just added two K-9 dogs to their 60-person security team. Said one of the dog handlers: "We have experienced that when a patient is upset, their attitude changes as soon as we bring the K-9s in."

They could have used a few at a Baltimore High School graduation on Memorial Day where the students ended their year with a brawl. Or a riot. Or whatever you call it when 20-30 people start fighting and kicking and ripping each others’ clothes off and hair out.
http://www.wbaltv.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/mom-questions-schools-response-to-daughters-attack/22807696

So many more stories, so little space. So let’s just skip large-scale episodes of black mob violence during the Memorial Day Weekend in Erie, Buffalo, Rochester, Providence, Michigan and several other places.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/episodes-black-mob-violence-squeeze-new-article/

But before we do, let’s just acknowledge the punch line in many of these articles: ‘Oh yeah, its been happening here a long time.’

We still have to return to Florida, where it all began. But not before a stopover in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Home of Black Bike Week.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/black-biker-week-hell-comes-myrtle-beach-whitegirl/

Like Black Beach Week, local reporters give this gathering another name that no one uses -- Atlantic Festival or some such thing. But the 300,000 black people on motorcycles who descend on this beach town every Memorial Day would probably not recognize that name.

Ten years ago, local officials tried to stop the rampant violence and mayhem and noise and trash and lawlessness that mark this holiday. Nothing worked. Local businesses closed, trying to stop the damage. That did not work either: The ACLU and NAACP filed lawsuits forcing them to remain open.

Much of the lawbreaking is documented in White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1938067061/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_d2_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1Z1KQY5XP8R4CMZTB2H6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846

Any illusions that Black Bike Week was somehow getting more mellow and family-friendly were disabused over the holiday weekend. At least 8 people were shot, three killed, some on video.

For some locals, it became impossible to ignore the relentless black mob violence.  Ryan Dodd took to the website of WMBF TV news to say he had enough. He compared a recent “white” biker rally with Black Bike Week.

“During white bike week, the scanners light up with traffic collisions and some DUI arrests. During black bike week, we have nudity, littering, murders, stabbings, people shitting in elevators, walking out on bar tabs and restaurant tabs, and on and on.

When the city tried to get rid of bike week because of black bikers, they had to tip toe around the NAACP and flush out both weeks. Last night's stack of incident reports shows that generally speaking, the face of the two bike weeks brings different hazards to the business owners and citizens of this community, which I've lived my entire life.

WE WILL NOT TIP TOE around the FACT that blacks come here, act like goons, stretch our emergency services resources way beyond the limits, making it hazardous for us, and disrespect our entire community, and I speak for many of us when I tell you that I'm sick and tired of it.

The city of MB needs to stand up and let black bikers know that some of them have ruined it for all of them. Then when the NAACP calls in Jesse Jackson's racist self, officials need to extend their longest finger in that direction while handing them the stack of incident reports from 24 and 25 May 2014.

Next stop: Tampa.  Clearwater is known as an upscale tourist and family beach town. Not this Memorial Day. Starting at around sunset, several large groups of black people started fighting, shooting guns, rampaging, defying police orders, and creating havoc.
http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/black-mob-violence-rocks-tampa-area-memorial-day/

According to the Tampa Bay Times: Anne DeDominick, a Hyatt guest visiting from upstate New York, had just stepped out of a hot tub at the hotel when she spotted about 15 SWAT officers with assault rifles. "I was shaking in my shoes," she said. "I didn't know what was happening."

Three people were wounded by the gunfire -- by all accounts, they made up just a small portion of the bullets fired all over that town during a 90-minute stretch. Four people were arrested.  And the mayor blamed it all on a different crowd that does not normally go to the beach.

It was absolutely crazy,” said TV reporter Peter Bernard. “I’ve lived here for 20 years and have never seen anything like this.”

Let’s finish in Fort Lauderdale. For years, city officials have congratulated themselves for ridding their beach town of the crazy college kids who used to make their city the destination of choice for wild and destructive Spring break parties.http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/truth-racial-violence-fort-lauderdale-memorial-day-weekend/

And Black Beach Week? That was Miami Beach’s problem. Not theirs.

That all ended last year, when black beach goers who chaffed at the armed camp atmosphere of Miami Beach headed over to Fort Lauderdale -- where they fought, destroyed property, defied police and created mayhem.

Some of it on video.

This year was a repeat:  Large groups of black people -- hundreds -- came to Fort Lauderdale looking for trouble.  They rampaged, destroyed property, jumped on cars, punched drivers in the face, attacked police, threw bricks at a bus, and caused holy hell for several hours until 42 people were arrested. Lots of video.

One person was stabbed.

Last year, a local radio personality said all the ruckus was just one big misunderstanding. She could speak for all of those who still refuse to believe that black mob violence exists out of proportion on Memorial Day. And every other day:  "You had many more people up that way than previous years," said Jill Tracey. "You have that many young black people together at any one time, it frightens white people."
