Obama’s Nuclear ‘Perfect Storm’

America is confronting a very dangerous nuclear “perfect storm.”  You might be forgiven for thinking that prospect has sufficient importance to warrant mention in President Obama’s State of our Union.  But, if past experience is any guide, it probably won’t make the cut in a speech with an Alinskyite focus on persuading the public and his Republican opponents that the greatest threat the country faces is “income inequality.”



The Washington Free Beacon reports that a Defense Science Board task force has completed a three-year review of U.S. intelligence capabilities with respect to emerging nuclear threats and found them seriously wanting.  The Beacon’s Adam Kredo says the DSB found that: “‘The nation is not yet organized or fully equipped’ to detect clandestine nuclear activities across the globe, and in most cases ‘current solutions are either inadequate, or more often, do not exist.’”
This conclusion is all the more alarming given the current strategic environment. The panel concluded: “The actual or threatened acquisition of nuclear weapons by more actors – with a range of motivations, capabilities and approaches – is emerging in numbers not seen since the early days of the Cold War.  Many of these actors are hostile to the U.S. and its allies, and of greater worry, they do not appear to be bound by established norms, nor are they deterred by traditional means.”



Reality must intrude, however, on such cynical political machinations.  Consider the following elements of this perfect storm:
Think about that the next time – presumably in Mr. Obama’s State of the Union address – the President claims his seriously defective deal with Iran will curb its bid for the Bomb.  The truth is that we have no clue about the extent of the mullahs’ covert nuclear weapons program, let alone any reason to believe it will be impacted at all by the terms of an agreement that covers only a few declared facilities and only in ways that are readily reversible.

It seems certain that those intelligence deficiencies will only grow as President Obama further compromises our collection policies, practices and capabilities.  As a new study by the Center for Security Policy’s Fred Fleitz and Clare Lopez points out, that is the inevitable effect of his affording many foreign leaders and even “ordinary people” the privacy rights heretofore reserved for American citizens and persons.
The question occurs: Will our spies and intelligence agencies find it still more difficult to perform the mission of ferreting out what enemies are doing to ready electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and other nuclear threats for possible use against us?

Speaking of EMP, Americans have lately been getting a much-needed crash-course on the existential danger it poses to our country and population.  With the enthusiastic support of a new EMP Coalition chaired by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Clinton Director of Central Intelligence R. James Woolsey, Bret Baier and Judge Jeanine Pirro of Fox News last week aired must-see-TV segments about this threat.  They exposed the damage Iran or other actors could inflict on the United States by taking down its electric grid, possibly with the EMP unleashed by a single high-altitude nuclear detonation. Do you think Mr. Obama will mention that threat to our Union – or the fact that we need to harden our grid against the certainty that intense solar flaring will at some point in the future cause similar effects?

Mr. Obama is also unlikely to address another element of the nuclear perfect storm: the free-fall being experienced by America’s deterrent to nuclear and other threats. In the wake of a series of performance, readiness and disciplinary problems with personnel manning some of the nation’s intercontinental ballistic missiles, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel recently issued an all-hands-on-deck memorandum to the Pentagon leadership.
The Secretary’s memo read, in part: “Personnel failures within this force threaten to jeopardize the trust the American people have placed in us to keep our nuclear weapons safe and secure.”  It went on to lay out an “action plan” to try to remedy the situation, which included this directive to the senior occupants of the E-Ring: “Examine the underlying leadership and management principles governing the strategic deterrence enterprise and the health of the culture that implements those principles.”

Mr. Hagel’s initiative is certainly welcome, the more so for its coming from a man who, until recently, was a champion of “Global Zero” – the reckless and truly insidious campaign to take down the U.S. nuclear arsenal, on the bizarre theory that other nations will then follow our example.

Unfortunately, the most serious “underlying leadership and management” problem confronting America’s strategic deterrence enterprise today is the Commander-in-Chief’s continuing adherence to his policy of “ridding the world of nuclear weapons,” starting with ours.  Unless and until he makes clear his commitment to maintaining and modernizing our deterrent, it will continue to unravel as a result of demoralized personnel, obsolescing weapon systems and ever more emboldened adversaries.
The State of the Union would be a perfect vehicle to announce such a commitment and to rally the Congress and the American people to the task of contending with the emerging nuclear perfect 
storm.  Will President Obama follow the lead of his Defense Secretary and do so?

In real life, terrorists are almost always Muslim. In the movie theater, they are anything but. America’s fictional secret agents, covert operatives and rogue cops who play by their own rules have spent more time battling Serbian terrorists than Muslim terrorists.



Before September 11 broke up the party, 24’s Jack Bauer was fighting the international menace of Serbian terrorism. Serbian terrorists also showed up in 1999’s Diplomatic Siege when their “Serbian Liberation Front” took over a US embassy and in 1997’s The Peacemaker with George Clooney rushing to stop a Serb from detonating a nuke in New York City.

The United States has remained unscathed by Serbian terrorism, though the same can’t be said for Peter Weller, the star of Diplomatic Siege, and Mimi Leder, the director of The Peacemaker, but not by Muslim terrorist attacks. Despite September 11, the Fort Hood Massacre and the Boston Marathon bombings, Hollywood has however resolutely kept its eye on the real threat.

This weekend, Ride Along, which features Ice “F___ the Police” Cube playing a cop, knocked Lone Survivor out of the top spot at the box office, and once again takes on the terrible threat of… Serbian terrorism.



When the Serbs aren’t available, the North Koreans have to step in. Red Dawn had to switch its army of invaders who conquer America from the Chinese to the North Koreans. North Korea, unlike China, doesn’t pay Hollywood studios money for the movies it imports. But to be on the safe side, when North Koreans attacked the White House in Olympus Has Fallen, the movie specified that they were extremists. Hollywood wouldn’t want to imply that North Korea’s moderate government might be attacking America.

Only the Serbs do that.

North Korea however responded by warning that if it did attack the United States, the outcome would be even worse than anything in a movie.

When the Serbs are too busy shoveling snow and the North Koreans are too busy watching Dennis Rodman act like an idiot, there are always the Russians. The Russians are more likely to show up as villains after the fall of the Soviet Union than during the Communist era. It’s as if the end of Soviet Communism finally set Hollywood free to join in the fun of Boris and Natasha villains without any of the guilt about red-baiting.

When Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit featured a terrorist cell in Dearborn, even though Muslim settlers dominate the area, the villains were shown operating out of a Russian Orthodox church and getting their cues from a priest reading the bible while the terrorists cried out, “Slava Bogu” or “Praise God.”

It would have been so very unrealistic to show them praising Allah instead.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is the latest attempt at making a Tom Clancy movie without the Tom Clancy part. Sum of All Fears, one of the first movies about terrorism to come out after September 11, jettisoned Clancy’s Muslim villains and replaced them with neo-fascists out to turn Europe into a “united fascist superstate”.

While this wasn’t true to the Clancy novel, it was the first time that a major motion picture unintentionally portrayed the European Union as a villain even though it had already been around for a decade. Around the time Sum of All Fears came out, Europeans were already on a single currency. But that obviously wasn’t what anyone in the production had in mind.

Phil Alden Robinson, the director whose career also appears to have fallen victim to Serbian terrorism, responded to CAIR’s demands that the movie be more true to life by not featuring Muslim terrorists, with compliant acquiescence.

Its writer Dan Pyne dismissed Islamic terrorism as a “cliche”; even though a plot can’t be a cliche when it never appears in movies, only in real life. Pyne however found a more realistic villain. “I think, there was some neo-nationalist activity in Holland, and there was stuff going on in Spain and in Italy. So it seemed like a logical and lasting idea that would be universal.”

Nothing is more universal than the threat of neo-nationalists in Holland. Dutch neo-nationalism is an enduring world menace that everyone can relate to.

The neo-nationalists of the Netherlands that Pyne had discovered in a used copy of the LA Times were probably Pim Fortuyn’s party. Fortuyn was a gay Sociology professor and former Marxist who favored drug legalization, gay marriage and less Muslim immigration. The neo-nationalist threat of the Netherlands did not prove lasting when around the time that Sum of All Fears was playing in theaters; Fortuyn was murdered by a leftist who, like Pyne, worried about the plight of the Muslims.

In an even bigger cliche, Theo van Gogh, who had just finished directing May 6th, a movie about the assassination of Pim Fortuyn, was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri, a Muslim immigrant from Morocco who told the victim’s mother that he could have no empathy for her because she was a non-Muslim.

It was the sort of ridiculous cliche that Dan Pyne would never have put into a script.

Instead Dan Pyne went on to write a remake of the Manchurian Candidate in which Communist China was replaced by the “Manchurian Corporation”. He’s currently working on a movie featuring a Syrian rescue worker who gets mistaken for a terrorist while trying to save lives during Hurricane Katrina.

It’s a cliche, but it’s the kind of cliche that Hollywood likes.

If a movie is made about September 11 a decade from, now, the villains will probably be Serbian nationalists. Or perhaps a villainous “September 11 Corporation”. It would be a cliche to have 19 Muslim hijackers murder 3,000 people. And then the camera will linger meaningfully on a Muslim rescuer wrongly taken into custody by a bigoted NYPD cop who is overlooking the real Serbian/Dutch neo-nationalist corporate villains.

But the Serbians, Russians, North Koreans and the Neo-Nationalists of the Netherlands are only the understudies who get called in when the usual villains, right-wing extremists who want to false flag America into a war with the Muslims are on vacation.

After 24 got done with the Serbian terror threat, it defaulted to the real threat of government warmongers trying to fake a Muslim terror threat. After 9/11, 24’s second season’s story was about an evil government conspiracy to fake a Muslim terrorist attack. Anything else would have been a cliche. And to avoid cliches, the series used variations of the same plot in three seasons.

When the Serbs went on strike last year, White House Down brought in a villainous Speaker of the House with a Jewish last name to assassinate a black president in order to sabotage his treaty with Iran. The movie lost so much money that Sony blamed its quarterly $197 million loss on it.

Serbian terrorism had struck again.

When a straightforward presentation flops, Hollywood finds ways of embedding the same old message into more fantastic fare. Last summer, Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness and the Lone Ranger all had minor variations of the same story about false flag attacks that were orchestrated by governments or powerful interests connected to them. This Trutherism explosion was just another case of Hollywood carefully avoiding cliches.

Nowhere in all these tales of evil corporations and governments is there a movie about an entertainment industry so intertwined with government that it not only helped pick the country’s current leader, but it constantly releases propaganda films attempting to revise reality according to his worldview. That would be a cliché; much like the idea of that industry filming false flag movies depicting the favorite villains of the Clinton Administration carrying out ridiculously implausible acts of terror to retroactively justify its focus on the Serbs instead of Al Qaeda.

If they had been positioned further up the ladder back then, instead of mainly being relegated to writing scripts, we would no doubt have a catalog of movies featuring Yankee warmongers plotting to stage fake Nazi attacks on America.

Hollywood’s ideological hostility to reality however has not proven to be very profitable.

The Peacemaker, a movie written and co-produced by the Cockburns, whose politics are slightly to the left of Stalin and who wrote a book blaming Israel for everything wrong with the world beginning with the death of the dinosaurs, was the inaugural feature from the failed Spielberg-Geffen-Katzenberg Dreamworks studio and disappointed critics and audiences. The Cockburns would never try their hand at film fiction again unless you count American Casino, their “documentary” about the financial collapse, which had a financial collapse of its own with an opening weekend of $1,397.

Sum of All Fears, the movie inspired by the Netherlands neo-nationalist threat, was the weakest performer of the Tom Clancy movies when accounting for ticket price inflation and full budget. And it still had a much better opening weekend than Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.

But failure hasn’t stopped Hollywood from churning out anti-war movies and it won’t stop it from alerting the nation to the terrorist threat lurking in Orthodox Churches or the Dutch neo-nationalists trying to nuke our cities. Hollywood’s handpicked leaders were the ones who made the country vulnerable to Islamic terrorism and their industry has gone on covering up for them with movies in which the villains can be anyone and everyone except the real killers.

I came into this world after Franklin D. Roosevelt was President and was born the day John F kennedy was killed in Dallas, I have never been afraid of my government until now.



I am not alone. A consistent and growing theme of commentaries on the conservative news sites and blogs that I read every day is the fear of the Obama administration that has been cracking down on those who criticize it. They get audited by the IRS. They are refused the same status as non-profit entitles engaging in public education as Left-leaning organizations. They are accused of being racists, homophobes, anti-immigration, and anti-women.

This goes beyond the ordinary disagreements between individuals and groups that express opposition to the Obama administration. It has the look of a deliberate campaign and we have three more years of Obama as President in which to endure it.

In a speech to the leftist nonprofit Center for American Progress, Sen. Chuck Schumer, (D-BY) recently urged the IRS to “redouble” its intimidation tactics against the Tea Party. He represents a State whose governor recently said that conservatives were not welcome to live and do business. Its largest city, New York, just elected a Marxist as its mayor.



Jim Lakely, the director of communications of The Heartland Institute, a free market think tank that has led the effort to debunk the global warming hoax, recently posted a commentary, “The Unceasing Political Thuggery of Obama’s Gangster Government.” He noted Michael Barone’s description of the Obama administration as a “gangster government.”

Lakely cited the growing list of actions taken against who have expressed criticism. It includes Dinesh D’Souza who produced a documentary about Obama’s life, “Obama’s America” and who arrested on felony charges for violating campaign finance law. “This is beyond absurd—especially in light of what the FBI and IRS have found not worthy of any investigation, let alone indictment” in the past. A Hollywood group of conservatives, the only one there, received an IRS demand for its complete donor list; this is a repeat of similar demands of Tea Party groups seeking non-profit status. James O’Keefe whose Project Veritas exposed the nonprofit status of the leftist ACORN is being audited as was Frank VanderSloot, a big Republican donor as was conservative journalist Wayne Allen Root—twice. The list keeps growing.

The Heartland Institute was subjected to the stealing of its confidential budget and planning documents by global warming activist Peter Gleick “for the purpose of harassing” its donors, but no action has been taken against him by law enforcement authorities.

“Never in the history of this country have we seen such a broad and coordinated abuse of the government’s power to threaten criminal prosecution and ruin the lives and livelihoods of people the President and his party see as political ‘enemies’”, says Lakely.

“This should be the political scandal of the century—if only we had an honorable and competent MSM (mainstream media) press corps in this country.”

Ordinary Americans have cause to share my fear as they discover the wreckage that Obamacare is inflicting on our healthcare system, losing their insurance plans, and now we are hearing that the insurance industry may have to be bailed out as it is subjected to major losses. The government’s website is not only a disaster, but it subjects anyone using it to the threat of identity theft as experts testify it can be hacked with ease.

The economy of a nation with enormous energy reserves, enough to make us energy sufficient for decades, is being undermined by a deliberate campaign to shut down coal-fired plants and make the construction of new ones impossible. The Keystone XL pipeline from Canada has been delayed for five years despite the jobs it represents and access to oil at the same time the government has slowed the provision of leases to oil companies seeking to explore and extract our own reserves.

And millions of Americans are out of work or have ceased looking for work as the result of the worst economic “recovery” in the history of the nation. This is occurring at a time when the Obama administration has added $6 trillion to the nation’s debt, causing a leading credit agency to downgrade the nation’s credit rating for the first time in its history.

The scandals attributed to the Obama administration keep mounting from “Fast and Furious” that transmitted weapons to Mexican drug cartels, to the failure to provide security to our Libyan consulate despite many requests, leading to the Benghazi killing of a U.S. ambassador and three brave security personnel who went to his aid. The list keeps growing.

There is ample reason for Americans to fear their government these days and the mood of the nation is growing worse as they realize that they have a President who lies all the time and pursues “climate change” policies that have no basis in known science and a campaign of class war based on “income inequality” as the incomes of Middle Class Americans have suffered a decline. The solution to income inequality has always been an increase in the national economy.

The nation’s military is being undermined by budget cuts and policies that encourage open homosexual participation and the introduction of women into its combat forces. A growing list of generals and admirals have been forced to retire.

It has taken only five years to bring the nation to this point and none of the scandals has resulted in anyone in the Obama administration being held accountable.

They have good reason. When they can no longer depend on the Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, and other elements of the government to act lawfully, this nation—a nation of laws—we are all in jeopardy.

For these and other reasons I and many Americans are growing fearful. We have good reason.

When the news broke that movie maker Dinesh D’Souza had been indicted by Obama’s so-called Justice Department, I had cold chills run up and down my spine.  I thought:  “Well, it has finally happened.  The US is now a fascist state.”

How long are Americans going to allow their freedom and liberty to be crushed under the jackboots of the Obama Administration?  How long?  Huh?

So you think Fascist is too harsh a term, do you?  Well, let’s take a closer look.

OK—so what is a fascist?  According to The Urban Dictionary a fascist is “someone who believes in a totalitarian state rule by a supreme leader (dictator) who controls everything possible and treats people harshly—to gain the leader’s own success….”



Sound familiar?  In a piece by John Griffing, published at American Thinker, Mr. Griffing says the following: “At its core, fascism is really just a system where government, through agreements with the private sector, controls virtually all property and income indirectly and Obama has embraced this template.” 

Mr. Griffing goes on to say: “Fascism is correctly associated with tyranny since nations that employ the tenets of fascism almost always transition from a republican or parliamentary form of government to some sort of personality cult usually centered on an economic “savior.”  Fascism requires extensive state control, and if this control is not centralized in a singular personality, the results will be muddied and plagued with excessive overlap.  All of Obama’s actions have highly fascist overtones.”  Read the entire article here: http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/07/american_jeopardy_what_is_fasc.html

It is gratifying, to say the least, to find someone who agrees with our viewpoint of Obama and his regime.  It is truly frightening to see America being fundamentally changed from a constitutional republic into a fascist dictatorship under Obama.  But, that is what we have in America today.

What?  You say it can’t happen in America?  Well, I hate to disagree with your assessment, but dear reader, it already has happened.  The task of freedom loving Americans now—IS TO CHANGE IT BACK!   That goal is becoming ever more difficult, with every passing day, as the line between the private sector and the public sector is being systematically and intentionally blurred by the Obama Regime. You may not wish to admit it, even to yourself, but, as Mr. Griffing says in his article at American Thinker,   “individual liberty can often be conditioned on complicity with state aims, as manifested in the private sector sphere.”  He is spot on!

Look, we Americans are being “conditioned” by the Obama Regime to jump through any hoop Obama should hold up in front of us. 

Many weeks ago we warned of an avalanche of taxes on the horizon for America.  That avalanche is about to come rumbling down to crush the last remnant of resistance to the Obama fascist agenda.  There are twenty-plus NEW TAXES about to be levied on Americans—all associated, in some way, to ObamaCare.  And it will get worse… count on it! 

Obama and the democrats have bankrupted America. We are broke.  There is no more money available within the government budget to stave off the insolvency of America. 

So what must happen?  Huge tax increases. Americans who have already been mentally “conditioned” will simply lie down and allow the Obama taxes, such as a VAT tax, to wash over them.  Those of us who are not “conditioned” will fight it every step of the way. Even the Vat tax is the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. It cannot cover the shortfall of funds America faces in the future.

Only a strong fascist leader could “condition” Americans to accept what is coming next—the looting of the individual American.  Obama is setting the stage with his campaign on income inequality. What he’s talking about, dear reader, is socialism, plain and simple.  

In an article at the American thinker written by Kyle Anne Shiver and entitled: “Barack Obama, the Quintessential liberal fascist” Shiver says:  “Neither did Barack Obama invent the political “ideology of change,” nor design its carefully crafted propaganda.  While media folks talked of the tingles up their legs and the brilliant rhetoric of Barack Obama, they were heralding the speaker only, not the creator of the movement and its slogans.  That would have been Saul Alinsky, the man who took fascism and cunningly made it appear to casual observers every bit as American as apple pie.

As much as I dislike admitting it, we HAVE become conditioned  “not to see the forest for the trees.”  We inhabit Obama’s fascist America, yet we don’t seem able to see it for what it is. 

Today we Americans seem to lack what the military refers to as “situational awareness.” Just as on the battlefield where lack of situational awareness can easily lead to the demise of the individual, it can also lead the people of a country into placidly standing by as their nation is hijacked and “fundamentally changed,” from a nation where the government serves the people—to a nation where the people serve the government. 

That has already happened. The question now is—can we change it back to its rightful condition.   We have a chance this coming November to say to the would-be Leftist dictators of the world, including those-who-would-be-king right here in America ... NO!  We will not allow you to steal our liberty, our freedom, our COUNTRY from us.   We cannot allow the chance to save America pass us by.  It MAY be our last chance.

Are WE to be the generation that lost America?  Think about that.  We have just over ten months to save America.  The Right side of the political spectrum must come together as a unified force to defeat the denizens of the Left.  We must cleanse our garden of the evil Leviathan.

 We hope today finds everyone in good health and spirits.

You know, my Dad, who has been pretty successful in his own right, used to tell me… “Look down the road, son.”

His meaning was pretty simple and actually very good advice.

His meaning behind that statement is that, you never start out on top. This whether you are employed by someone else, or even workin for yourself.

Success comes from a great work ethic, the desire to better yourself and your family, the ability to cope through not just the good times, but the bad too.

It means you have to start at the bottom somewhere. Then through pure determination to see something through, you eventually start climbin the ladder to achieve…success.

So you see, his statement means to not let what happens today hinder your drive to, “look down the road

You have to stay focused, believe in your own ability, and maybe most importantly…NEVER…take no, or, you can’t do it, as an alternative.


Dad never…came from money, quite the opposite. His father commercial fished for a living. Granddaddy day worked cattle as well, plus any other thing that he could turn an honest dollar at to feed and clothe his family.

This was the way of life of our generations past, and sacrifice to better their own family was all the drive they needed to push themselves to keep going.

I remember my Father never being at home much…he worked all the time. Although many of his friends went to work for large companies, back then, the power or telephone companies, but Dad saw an opportunity for agriculture to be his…way out…and eventually it was.

Did this all fall into place? Anything but.

He worked for Ralston Purina. He started off moving chickens at night, which is about the lowest on the totem pole you can get.

He, through another example of his mentality and belief used to tell me…

“You know Doug, when I started out moving, or pullin chickens as we call it, my whole outlook was to be THE BEST chicken puller out there. Whatever you do son, ALWAYS strive to be the best! It doesn’t matter if you’re digging ditches…and if you are…be THE BEST ditch digger out there!”

“IF you keep that mentality, eventually someone in a position of power WILL see you, AND…you’ll get an opportunity.”

He eventually became a flock supervisor with Purina, but still worked on the service crew at night.

He was literally working…daylight to cain’t.

When he retired from Purina to start his own egg company…he was General Manager of the Southeast.

Here was a man who started out with absolutely nothing except…a tremendous work ethic, the mentality for never accepting the word, no, and the vision to… “Look down the road.”

When he sold out in Oct. of 1995, he had over two million birds laying, had his own feed mill to supply the birds with a good quality feed product, and his own hatchery to keep his layer operations in birds.

To get a grasp for what he achieved, the one complex I ran had twelve houses with 60,000 birds per house. EACH house ate between 12-14 thousand pounds of feed per day.

I, like my Dad, and thanks to him as well, had these same traits. Though not nearly as successful, although comfortable most times, he had instilled in me, to… “Look down the road, son.”

What we’ve accomplished is literally because of the work ethic and never quit mentality that he bestowed on us.

Now, as I, “Look down the road” today, what I see for my children and grandchildren ain’t very pretty, to say the least.

Does our Country today even present the opportunity for our children and grandchildren to… “Look down the road?

Sadly, I don’t believe it any longer does, and the ability to do this and succeed looks more and more bleak daily.

We have become a Nation of political elite, a Nation of politicians for life, a Nation of political arrogance never before witnessed in our Countyry, and a Nation ofso many new laws passed each year, I believe over 40,000 were passed last year alone, that if our politicians, state, local or federal, really wanted to get us, there just has to be a law on the books for them to do so.

Washing your car? Riding your bike? How bout watchin TV in your home?

I hope there aren’t laws against these things, but any more, there are so many, who knows?

Which brings me to one point this morning that rubs me the wrong way…although it is but one…

Illegal Immigration into our Country.

Seems the other day, our Director for Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, made the following remarks…

“The approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have “earned the right to be citizens.”

So, in his opinion, these people HAVE EARNED the right…

Really?

I’d be willing to bet if I decided to enter Mexico, or most other nations for that matter, their government wouldn’t consider me as having earned the right to anything, besides a kick in the behind getting me back across to my side of the border!

PLUS, even if you do cross into Mexico LEGALLY, in order to take up residence there you have to prove your self- sustainability.

Also, jail time is a must.

Quickly, and in jest, I read the other day where 4 tractor trailer loads of Americans were stopped at the border and deported for…tryin to slip into Mexico!

I did a post in The Canada Free Press, quite a ways back, actually on April 26, 2010, so let’s see, that’d made me…27 or so! Lol.

According to the Random House Webster’s Dictionary, the definition of the word “illegal,” is as follows: adj. 1- Forbidden by law. 2- contrary to official rules or regulations.

That’s it, forbidden by law. The word itself is not confusing by any means, and in fact, is actually pretty self-descriptive. Illegal is the exact opposite of legal. So where do all the problems associated with this particular word come from?

“Is it just me, or do you feel also, that many of our politicians, the left, and our media really have difficulty understanding this word, illegal? The misunderstanding of the word illegal really seems to become evident when they speak of people coming across our borders without permission. At that point they like to refer to them as “undocumented.” Put simply though, they’re not undocumented, they’re in reality illegal, the exact opposite of legal, which by the way, undocumented isn’t.”

It goes on…

“I wonder if Nancy Pelosi for example, a strong advocate of amnesty for illegal aliens, would consider one of them, or anyone else for that matter, which walked into her home uninvited or without her knowledge, consider this person as an “undocumented visitor?” I’d venture to guess she’d not consider this an undocumented visit, but rather an illegal entry and they’d probably be charged by Mrs. Pelosi with such.

Many people would defend her actions because this event would have taken place at, or in, her home. Good, valid point. No one wants this type of incident taking place at their home, myself included. It’s your home, and it’s where your family comes as well. It’d be preposterous for people you didn’t know to come and go as they please in your home, wouldn’t it?

But in reality, isn’t our country our home too, just a bigger home? Isn’t our country where our families reside as well? Do you love your country any more or any less than your home, and do you want to see them both protected equally? So where does this big difference of opinion lay when it comes to people illegally entering our country, which is our home, without permission? It’s still illegal, no matter how you cut it or spin it. It is not by the farthest stretches of your imagination an undocumented action either. It is though, the exact opposite of legal, isn’t it?

How has our country become “turned upside down” when it comes to the definition of our laws, as well as our fundamental American values? This subject is but one example.

Probably to the astonishment of the left I will say this. I do advocate immigration into our country. I believe the great majority of Americans do also. The problem I and millions of other Americans have with the immigration policy in our country is the fact that so many are coming here illegally. This in itself is the problem.

First, there is no accountability as to who they are. Are they criminals, or even terrorists? No one knows the answer, simply because there is no record of their entry. To me, this is not a viable excuse to be used by our administration when, and if, a tragic event involving an illegal happens.

For whatever the reasoning, our federal government has not “taken the bull by the horns” approach to this problem. We’ve seen the pleas by local law-enforcement, especially along the border, asking for federal assistance in handling the problems arising from this. The locals haven’t the manpower, or the capabilities to combat this alone. Why do such requests go unheeded by the feds?

But One Example of the Cost to the Taxpayer of Illegals

“Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas (these are 2006 numbers), is the second busiest maternity ward in the U.S. Almost 16,000 babies are delivered there each year, about 44 per day.
A patient survey indicated that 70% of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That’s 11,200 anchor babies (American citizens) born every year just in Dallas. The hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million, and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

Again, this is but ONE example, of ONE hospital, in ONE town, in ONE county, in ONE state! Once more these numbers were from…2006!

What in the world must be the numbers today…nationwide??

So, in my opinion, these “illegals,” Jeh Johnson says DESERVE amnesty, is a crock. Not all, but most, I believe probably don’t appreciate our Country, number one, and number two, many, many more wouldn’t if you took away all these dad-gum giveaways!

With this in mind, I’ve come to the conclusion are Department of Homeland Security is misnamed, to put it very, very mildly.

Something more appropriate, and more fitting is, hmmm., let’s see…how bout the Department of Homeland Insecurity!

“A Line in the Sand: Confronting the Threat at the Southwest Border”

Keep in mind the U.S.-Mexico border runs nearly 2,000 miles.

• During 2005, the Border Patrol captured approx. 1.2 million illegal aliens. All but 165,000 of these were Mexican. Of the non-Mexican aliens, around 650 were from special interest countries. Special interest countries being those designated by our intelligence community as countries that could export individuals that could do harm to our country by the way of terrorism.

• U.S. Immigration and Enforcement Investigations revealed that aliens were smuggled from the Middle East to staging areas in Central and South America, before being smuggled illegally into the U.S.

• Members of Hezbollah have already entered the U.S. across the Southwest border.

• U.S. military and intelligence officials believe Venezuela is emerging as a potential hub of terrorism into the Western Hemisphere. The Venezuelan government is issuing identity documents that could subsequently be used to obtain a U.S. visa and enter the country.

This should be priority #1 for border security and THE reason for shutting off the flow of illegal aliens into our country. Each day that goes by, continues to raise the risk factor in this matter. We’re playing with fire.

• Federal law enforcement estimates that 10 to 30 percent of illegal aliens are actually caught, meaning as many as 4 to 10 million illegal aliens crossed into the U.S. in 2005 alone!

• On Feb. 7, 2006, the Subcommittee convened to examine a particularly troubling into the sovereign territory of the United States by armed individuals who were driving military-style vehicles, carrying military type weapons, and appeared to be wearing Mexican Army uniforms.

• The cartels have cemented ties to street and prison gangs here in the U.S.

• One MS-13 gang member described the ease at which he comes and goes across the border. He decided one year he wanted to go back to Guatemala to see his mother during the Christmas holidays. To save his own money, he turned himself over to authorities here in the U.S. and was flown home to Guatemala under the expedited removal program on the taxpayer’s dime, spent the holidays at home with his family, then crossed the border illegally once again. He claims he has done this several times.

• The cartels have no mercy for women or children.

• The Violent Crimes Institute conducted a 12 month in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders in the time period of Jan. 1999 through April of 2006. This study clearly shows the U.S. faces a dangerous threat from sexual predators crossing the border illegally.

They looked at 1,500 cases in-depth, including serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides, and child molestation…all by illegal immigrants. Police reports, public records, interviews with police and media accounts were all included. Offenders were located in 36 states, with most of the offenders located in States with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California ranked first followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Based on an estimated illegal immigrant population of 12,000,000, and with ICE reports and public records showing sex offenders comprising 2% of the illegals apprehended, the Violent Crimes Institute estimates that there are approximately 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the U.S.

Using these numbers, the Institute concluded that there are 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders coming across the U.S. borders every day. The 1,500 offenders used in this study had a total of 5,999 victims. Each sex offender averaged 4 victims. This puts the estimated victimization numbers by illegal immigrants at around 960,000 for the 88 months examined in this study!

Those numbers are appalling, aren’t they? To have that extent of those types of crimes committed in our country is unforgivable, but to have them committed in our country by illegal aliens is unconscionable

YET…

They’re DESERVING?

So, in closing, it is pretty obvious that a vast number of these illegal aliens have absolutely NO business being here, much less anywhere else, but to realize that we have government officials calling for amnesty, not for the betterment of the people mind you, but one more voter bloc to be counted on for THEIR political power, THEIR political greed, and THEIR ambition of eventually tellin us when to crap, how to crap, and how much to crap, is unimaginable to me, that “We the People” have allowed this to take place!

I for one am tired of bein part of the silent majority! I’m not condoning violence by any means, but I am condoning not sittin on our butts anymore and to start making yourselves heard…

I’m tired of political correctness, when the political correctness shoved down our throats is number one, false and wrong, and number two…not beliefs held…by the majority.

“My biggest, you know, regret is what happened in Benghazi,” she answered in response to a question asking her to identify “do-overs” during her stint as Secretary of State. She then proceeded to double down. “I mean, you know, you make these choices based on imperfect information,” she contended. “And you make them to, as we say, the best of your ability. But that doesn’t mean that there’s not going to be unforeseen consequences, unpredictable twists and turns.”

One is left to wonder what “imperfect information” Clinton was vaguely referring to in her response. The alleged “imperfect information” that led Clinton and company to lie for weeks about the nature of the attack? The “fog of war,” as Clinton previously described it? Of course, “imperfect information” had nothing to do with the Obama administration’s deceitful portrayal of the terrorist attack to the public. Declassified documents made public two weeks ago reveal that AFRICOM commander Gen. Carter Ham told members of the House Armed Services subcommittee that he learned about the “terrorist attack” on the consulate compound only 15 minutes after it commenced. “My first call was to [Joint Chiefs of Staff General chairman] General Dempsey, General Dempsey’s office, to say, ‘Hey, I am headed down the hall. I need to see him right away,’” Ham testified on June 26, 2013. “I told him what I knew. We immediately walked upstairs to meet with Secretary [of Defense] Panetta.” Ham further testified that Dempsey and Panetta “had the basic information as they headed across for the meeting at the White House.”

Carney’s statement contradicts a letter released to Congress by the White House five days earlier.http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/14/white-house-no-phone-calls-benghazi/ It claimed Obama made no phone calls at all the night of the attack. Thus, unless one is willing to believe that no one, including Obama, told Clinton it was a terrorist attack, the words “imperfect information” are nothing more than an attempt to again revive the “fog of war” canard that the former Secretary of State relied on to initially explain away the administration’s false account of the attack and changing story.

As for “unforeseen consequences” and “unpredictable twists,” a scathing report released Jan. 15,http://www.intelligence.senate.gov/benghazi2014/benghazi.pdf by the Senate Intelligence Committee concludes that the attack in Benghazi was preventable. Clinton’s State Department was singled out for its failure to bolster security in response to an increasing threat level. The report states that the intelligence community “produced hundreds of analytic reports” in the months preceding the attack that “militias and terrorists ... had the capability and intent to strike U.S. and Western facilities and personnel in Libya.” There were “at least 20 security incidents involving the Temporary Mission Facility,” including one in which an “IED exploded near the main gate of the Mission facility in Benghazi, creating a 9√ó12 hole in the exterior wall.” Responsibility for this attack was claimed by followers of the “Blind Sheikh,” united under the banner of the “Imprisoned Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman Brigade.”



Ambassador Stevens himself was seriously concerned with the rapidly deteriorating security situation and made requests for support, which were not heeded. Stevens sent numerous cables regarding the vulnerability of the mission. In late June, Stevens wrote, “that the attacks were the work of extremists who are opposed to western influence in Libya. A number of local contacts agreed, noting that Islamic extremism appears to be on the rise in eastern Libya and that the Al-Qaeda flag has been spotted several times flying over government buildings and training facilities in Derna.”

However, according to Gregory Hicks,http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304302704579332732276330284 deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, who was privy to intimate details of the security decision process, Stevens’ “requests for additional security were denied or ignored. Officials at the State and Defense Departments in Washington made the decisions that resulted in reduced security.”

“When I arrived in Tripoli on July 31, we had over 30 security personnel, from the State Department and the U.S. military, assigned to protect the diplomatic mission to Libya. All were under the ambassador’s authority. On Sept. 11, we had only nine diplomatic security agents under Chris’s authority to protect our diplomatic personnel in Tripoli and Benghazi,” Hicks wrote.

By all accounts, what happened in Benghazi was the result of extreme negligence on the part of Clinton and her cohorts. It was not “unforeseen” or “unpredictable”—precisely the opposite. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was willing to take Clinton to task for her latest remarks, contending she needs to back up her “regrets” regarding an attack for which no one has been fired, and none of the attackers has been captured. “If she was really sorry‚ talk is cheap, she needs to stand up and demand action,” he told Fox News. With all due respect to Cruz, Clinton knows what happened. She’s known it for a long time. And it is more than likely the only regret she truly harbors at this point in time is the reality that, despite her best efforts, along with those of her fellow Democrats, and a mainstream media fully invested in her 2016 election, Benghazi is not going to be the irrelevant issue they are trying to make it. When four Americans have been killed in a preventable tragedy, “shaping the narrative” isn’t going to cut it.
