A system of ideological deceit
There is a common misconception in the liberal media that the Tea Party is based on an ideological agenda. But the Tea Party is not ideological driven. It came into being in response to an ideological agenda based on deception that throws common sense and sound economics out the window.
An ideological agenda is one that supersedes and even ignores practicality and basic problem-solving common sense. A problem is not something to be solved, a crisis is not something to resolve, rather, any action taken is done to further cleanse out the old ways and establish the new and better ideals.
It is not an ideological agenda to say, “Let’s get back to sound business practices for our government and get decision-making on local and community issues back into the hands of the citizens.
The Tea Party, unlike the current regime in power, has no agenda for transforming our nation into something it has never been in order to correct and replace a system they consider fundamentally flawed.
Neither did the Tea Party come into being as a means to popularize and institute a new way for managing our economy and society at large.
While many leaders throughout history who were ideologues used force and strong-armed tactics to maintain control, the administration’s “brave new world” based on ideological deceit is being put into place in a non-violent way by the force of words.
Lies and deception being transmitted through a media vehicle that is trusted and pervasive is simply another type of strong-armed tactic. Guns and barbed wire are not necessary to keep people from freedom if those people can be led to believe that something positive or harmless is dangerous and needs to be shunned.
Once a body of people start to be led that way, the spokespeople who are perpetrating the deception have to build an edifice of ever-increasing falsehood to shield their base from the truth. Political opponents are described as ultra radical, and placed in some kind of subhuman category worthy of ridicule. Definitions of words are changed to fit the rhetoric of the day. Blatant lies about current as well as historical events become more and more commonplace.
Of course as this happens, this growing Tower of Babel finds itself on increasingly shaky ground. The foundation of falsehood can only hold a nation captive for so long before it either returns to a pragmatic system that actually solves problems, or it collapses, requiring those in control to resort to physical force in order to maintain the charade built upon their ideological agenda.
As long as we are still able to freely speak out, organize, and build grassroots support for a return to sanity, there is still a chance to get back to a government that is subject to the people
and away from a government that functions as our overlord.
