Enemies

Enemies.

Hillary Milhous Clinton

It’s not as if Hillary Clinton never crossed paths with Richard Nixon. We’ve told you all about that.

So apparently some people think it’s news that Hillary, like Nixon, keeps an enemies list? Why? When your entire purpose in life is to exalt yourself, everyone else is assessed in accordance with their willingness to assist in said self-exaltation. Favors are done not out of sincerity, but in order to be owed favors. Support is demanded, and if not given, there had better be a darn good explanation!

Oh, and a slight is never forgotten. Not by you. And not by your people because in order to be one of your people, folks must be the type who remember slights and vow revenge. That’s the whole point. They’ll even keep spreadsheets that rank the degree of your traitorousness. The liberals at Time can’t deny what is plain in front of their faces:

Aides on Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 presidential campaign kept a detailed list of Democrats they felt had betrayed her by backing Barack Obama in their long and bitter primary fight, according to a new book.

Then-Sen. John Kerry, who would succeed Clinton as Secretary of State years later, was among the worst offender in the eyes of Clinton aides, according to the book, HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton. Kerry endorsed Obama at a critical moment in the race, after Clinton had recovered from losing the Iowa caucuses to win the New Hampshire primary.

“Almost six years later most Clinton aides can still rattle off the names of traitors and the favors that had been done for them, then provide details of just how each of the guilty had gone on to betray the Clintons—as if it all had happened just a few hours before, write the authors, reporters Jonathan Allen of Politico and Amie Parnes of The Hill. “The data project ensured that the acts of the sinners and saints would never be forgotten.”

In the excerpt published by The Hill, many things caught my attention, but none as starkly as this:

“We wanted to have a record of who endorsed us and who didn’t,” said a member of Hillary’s campaign team, “and of those who endorsed us, who went the extra mile and who was just kind of there. And of those who didn’t endorse us, those who understandably didn’t endorse us because they are [Congressional Black Caucus] members or Illinois members. And then, of course, those who endorsed him but really should have been with her … that burned her.”

Are the implications of this paragraph sinking in? Unless you have an understandable excuse, as defined by Hillary, she is entitled to your support. You “should have been with her” and if you weren’t, “that burned her.” She will not forget. Bill will not forget. Their people will not forget.

This is entirely consistent with what I’ve been telling you all along about Hillary. She believes she is entitled to the presidency for a whole host of reasons. She really believes the crap about how smart and capable she supposedly is. She believes it’s owed to her because she stood by her man like Tammy Wynette after he cheated on her both before and during his presidency. She believes he is no more presidential than she is and it simply can’t be that he became president and she never will.

And the Democratic Party owes it to her because it can’t come up with an explanation for not giving it to her that satisfies her. Got that? If she believes you “should be with her,” then you’d better be, or you’re on the list!

By the way, at least most of the people Richard Nixon considered enemies really did have something against him. That doesn’t excuse his paranoia, but it’s still a good bit different from holding a grudge against people just because they endorsed someone else, as if you had some sort of right to their endorsement and their decision not to give it to you represented a betrayal.

But that’s what happens when you are obsessed with a political ambition - when said ambition becomes your entire reason for living. Anyone who doesn’t back you isn’t just making a different political choice. They are trying to destroy your life!

All politicians keep some record of who supports them and who doesn’t, but few if any are as cold and shameless about how they do it, or about how they use it, as the Clintons are. Hillary looks out for number one, always. You Democrats out there had better behave yourselves and give Hillary the devotion she is owed. You don’t want to end up on the list!
