With Media Attention on Ebola H1N1 Getting a Pass

The Central America flooding the U.S. Southern Border story has come down with a bad case of Ebola.  Since the Ebola outbreak hit headlines, all those “unaccompanied minors”, MS 13, radical Islamist jihadists and other riffraff, who have been slipping into America headed for parts unknown, have overnight dropped right off the public radar screen.

Barack Hussein Obama and his army of United Nations goose-stepping foot soldiers want you to forget all about dread diseases like Tuberculosis and H1N1 coming in across the border and to concentrate solely on the Ebola scare.

We do know from Shawn Moran, vice president and spokesman for the National Border Patrol Council, that along with the scabies and lice that are the two main infestations from illegals, that tuberculosis and H1N1 are “pretty common”.  (CBS Pittsburgh, Aug. 1, 2014).

...“Absolutely, I would almost guarantee that there are people that have been released that are sick and that are now in American society,” said Moran.”

Is the renamed swine flu H1N1 being brought over the southern border any less infectious than deadly Ebola?

Here is the timeline history of the longtime pandemic threat being pushed by the UN:

Proof that Obama knows the Ebola scare is being UN-hyped comes with the fact he did not reschedule the Africa-U.S. Summit which brought 50 African leaders to D.C. which wraps up today.

Guaranteed that the self-centered Obama, who heads off to Martha’s Vineyard for yet another holiday on Saturday, is not taking Ebola with him.

History shows how much Obama’s attitude to swine flue differs from his cavalier one to Ebola.

In October of 2009 Obama declared the swine flu outbreak a “national emergency”, allowing hospitals and local governments to speedily set up alternate sites for treatment and triage procedures if needed to handle any surge of patients. (New York Times, Oct. 24, 2009).

“The declaration came as thousands of people lined up in cities across the country to receive vaccinations, and as federal officials acknowledged that their ambitious vaccination program has gotten off to a slow start. Only 16 million doses of the vaccine were available now, and about 30 million were expected by the end of the month. Some states have requested 10 times the amount they have been allotted.

“Flu activity — virtually all of it the swine flu — is now widespread in 46 states, a level that federal officials say equals the peak of a typical winter flu season. Millions of people in the United States have had swine flu, known as H1N1, either in the first wave in the spring or the current wave.

“Although there has been no exact count, officials said the H1N1 virus has killed more than 1,000 Americans and hospitalized over 20,000. The emergency declaration, which Mr. Obama signed Friday night, has to do only with hospital treatment, not with the vaccine. Government officials emphasized that Mr. Obama’s declaration was largely an administrative move that did not signify any unanticipated worsening of the outbreak of the H1N1 flu nationwide. Nor, they said, did it have anything to do with the reports of vaccine shortages.

“Mr. Obama’s declaration was necessary to empower Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of Health and Human Services, to issue waivers that allow hospitals in danger of being overwhelmed with swine flu patients to execute disaster operation plans that include transferring patients off-site to satellite facilities or other hospitals.

“The department first declared a public health emergency in April; Ms. Sebelius renewed it on Tuesday. But the separate presidential declaration was required to waive federal laws put in place to protect patients’ privacy and to ensure that they are not discriminated against based on their source of payment for care, including Medicare, Medicaid and the states’ Children’s Health Insurance Program.”

“Authorities will go to almost any length to ‘panic pandemic’ populations to make them think the flu is going to take them out. (Canada Free Press, January 8, 2013)

“And this time it’s before the UN scare-mongering WHO (World Health Organization) chimes in.

This morning the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pa. “had to” open an emergency space to care for the increased number of people with flu-like symptoms, reports NBC10’s Katy Zachry.

““Had to” open an emergency space even though patients admitted were suffering from “mild” “flu-like” symptoms.

“The “emergency space” provided by the hospital is a “mobile surge tent”. In layman’s language, a tent, set up right outside the hospital’s emergency department.

“The State Department of Health reports that four Pennsylvanians have already died of complications from the influenza virus. (NBC10, Jan. 8, 2013).http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Growing-Number-of-Flu-Cases-Causes-Hospital-to-Open-Emergency-Space-185947762.html

While Obama and the UN have put action into the “Think Ebola” trend, few are thinking about the dread diseases being carried daily over the southern border.

You don’t normally die of head lice and scabies, but the can sure cause discomfort.

Tuberculosis and H1N1 are no picnic.

Meanwhile, it’s not Ebola but Uncle Sugar and the UN folks should be running from.
