“Who are the Brain Police?” — Frank Zappa
I’ve always loved my country — and if I could ever find it again, I still would. That nation is more than likely gone for good, ground into powder by self-serving politicians, unabashed subversives, and an ignorant electorate kneeling at the boots of its federal masters in hopes of being granted a few extra crumbs stolen from the tables of its neighbors. A citizenry that would elect then re-elect a man like Barack Obama — a nascent totalitarian with a suspicious pedigree — and continue to tolerate him is a people that well deserves its fate.
