Moral Decay Engulfs America!


This will no doubt offend a few politically correct, multicultural, gay, progressive left wingers. So be it.

In my judgement our moral bankruptcy and the abandonment of our Judeo-Christian values has led to all the other thousands of issues we face today. We were founded on Christian values, as is abundantly clear from the writings of our founding fathers and in the founding documents themselves. The whole basis of our form of government is predicated on our being a moral people. Perhaps Obama was correct – “We’re no longer a Christian nation.” If true, we’re in trouble.

As we’ve known throughout history, including Biblical history (Sodom and Gomorrah) when a people turn their back to God, decay sets in. Decadence grows like cancer. Our culture today seems to be obsessed with decadence in all varieties. The evidence overwhelms.

The communist party is clearly anti-God. Their goals for America include, among other things: “Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them ‘censorship’… Breakdown cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural and healthy.’ Infiltrate the churches and replace ‘revealed’ religion with ‘social’ religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of ‘separation of church and state.’" These specific goals of the communist party are designed to weaken our cultural infrastructure and "transform” America into a communist state. ALL have clearly been accomplished. Once their other goals have been accomplished in America, and all are well underway, the rest of the world will also succumb to communism.

Just recently the Presbyterian Church (USA) has rewritten Scripture to allow for gay marriage. Has this denomination confused Christianity with communism by forsaking the Bible? If things work as they should, congregants will leave this denomination in droves.

What is the definition of a church? When does a “church” cease to be a church and become a social gathering? There’s a Unitarian Universalist Church in my area that really stretches the definition of “church.” Here are some quotes from the pastor in a recent article in the local paper: “Our members are from all walks of life and denominations, including atheists and agnostics. They each understand God in different ways, and we celebrate that. We don’t believe in the Trinity but we do believe in the unity of God. Like other churches, we always have music, but it could be anything from Bach to John Denver. We always have readings but they could be from the Bible, a Buddhist text or the New York Times. Teaching children about other peoples' faith traditions is an intrinsic part of the church’s mission.” Other comments made, but not direct quotes, include hosting foreign relations discussions with the local Islamic Center, commitment to marriage equality, and hosting lesbians and gays in support meetings. This is a church? Sounds more like a social gathering. Like the so called “mega churches” which appear to be music concerts and social gatherings where people leave “feeling good” about themselves. Nothing like the “hell, fire and brimstone” and repentance sermons I grew up with. The Scripture as written, not as we might wish it had been written. Where’s the talk about conversions, asking for forgiveness, living a God-filled life? These two denominations make a mockery of the Scripture.

Last June the Pope entertained Islamic prayers and readings from the Koran inside the Vatican, and various school districts are allowing Muslim children to address their prayer time during school while denying the same to other religions. And let’s not forget the multiple scandals a few years back of Priest abusing young boys and the Bishops covering it up. Moral bankruptcy.

Many churches of today, and their pastors, have fallen prey to today’s “anything is acceptable” culture where you "don’t offend anyone,“ and where their 501C tax status, their membership numbers, and their tithes and offerings trump the Scriptures. However, God will not be mocked. All will answer someday. The point is that when those who are "called” to spread the Word of God and to teach Biblical principles are distracted by some other motivation, or, not truly committed to the “calling,” everything goes downhill from there. The resulting sin multiplies unabated throughout society. Anything goes. We hear a lot on the political scene of a “one world government.” That’s the goal of progressives. With the trend that seems to exist in many of our churches we must be working towards a “one world religion” or a “global religion.” One where God is the center of the church “in name only.”

Clearly the political environment lends itself to this moral decay. THE political party following the anti-God philosophy is the DNC. Another of the communist party goals is “To capture one or more political parties.” Done! The DNC/progressives track along the communist ideology in an alarming way. Their anti-God policies include abortion; gay marriage; racial disharmony; removal of the Ten Commandments, prayer, and any other recognition of the Christian religion from schools, government buildings, government meetings, their party platform, etc. While they may claim to not discriminate against Christianity, their actions, policies and party platform tell otherwise. They are about as Godless as they come and attract like kind.

Another communist party goal was to “Discredit the family institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.” Again, success for CPUSA. THE building block of society since life began on earth, the family, is falling apart. This is especially true in the black community. Fifty years ago black couples, all couples, stayed together, married, had kids and raised those kids. Today a high percentage of black males leave the woman after producing a hand full of children. The resulting broken family then depends on the benevolence of the tax payer and various charities. The children grow up without a father figure head of household. Their values are learned in the ghetto and on the street. Violence seems to be what they learn. It is hands-down higher in the black community than any other racial group. Yet blacks, by a very large margin, claim to be Christian. Is abandonment of your family and the responsibility to care for them a Christian principle? Hardly. Then the race-baiters grab the issue and make it a racial one instead of a cultural one further dividing the races. And those race-baiters are Democrats. Some claim to be Reverends.

Other examples of moral decay: The entertainment industry glorifying sex, supporting gay marriage, the drug culture, and criticizing those who disagree. Promiscuity, cheating and the divorce rate is sky-high in this industry. Man-boy clubs. Sexual abuse of children. Laws passed that allow men dressed as women to use women’s restrooms. Chaplains in the Armed Forces being removed from their positions because they dare to pray in Jesus name or counsel those who sin as defined in the Bible. Military commanders being penalized for having a Bible on their desks. Business owners who lose their business because they won’t violate their Christian beliefs to accommodate a very small percentage of the population – gays. (Why do we let an estimated 3% of society dictate the habits of the remaining 97%?) A President who lies with abandon. It is so obvious he’s become a laughing stock. Is lying a Christian value? No, but it is a Muslim value (Taqiyya). A large portion of the citizenry who puts a former President on a pedestal – Bill Clinton, who simply has no morals. Couples living together without the institution of marriage has increased many fold in the last 50 years. Colleges and universities that show a bias towards any faith except Christianity. You can name hundreds of such incidents which were largely unheard of 50-60 years ago. They were unconscionable 50-60 years ago. There is an undeclared war on Christianly in America and our collective morality is in the dumps.

When three of our basic institutions, the Church, marriage, and the family, become so morally bankrupt, it sends a message to the other institutions in our society and immorality sets in. The headlines are filled daily with the shenanigans of the White House, Congress, the Courts and dime-a-dozen career politicians. All showing a weakness of character, no honor, no integrity, and no trust from the citizenry. These traits are part of our core values and Christian in nature.

Depending on which poll you read, Christians make up between 73% and 83% of the US population. Well, where are they? Why so silent? Where is that Christian Coalition and Moral Majority that once were on the scene fighting for Christian values? Are they CINO’s? Christians in name only? The less moral we become as a society, the closer we come to another Sodom and Gomorrah, the closer we come to government tyranny, and the closer we get to God’s wrath and judgement. God will not be mocked.
