The gay lifestyle is no longer an “alternative” lifestyle; it has forced itself upon society as the new normal. A 2013 Gallup poll details the percentages of those claiming LGB or T status, and the range is from 1.7% in North Dakota to 10% in DC (hmmm, where policy is determined). Throw out the high and the low and the average across the other states is about 3.5%, not exactly the majority. Yet gone is the quest for tolerance – you must accept. Gone is the quest for civil unions – they are not good enough, not equal to marriage as enjoyed by heterosexual couples. Same sex “marriage” is the battle cry of the day and woe be to you if you disagree, you homophobes!

Former Mozilla CEO, Brendan Eich recently found out just how severe are the consequences for supporting traditional, time-honored, Biblically-sanctioned marriage. He resigned as CEO some two weeks after being appointed (re: he was forced out). What was his crime? Six years ago, he wrote a personal check for $1000 in support of California’s Proposition 8 which enshrined traditional marriage as an amendment to the state constitution. Although Prop 8 was overturned in court, this contribution marked him as intolerant, a hater, a homophobe, someone worthy of censure and destruction. Forget that he was committed to maintaining the Mozilla culture of inclusion and diversity. Words, or in this case, private thoughts, have more value than actions. Really?

The thought police, vigorously manned by the uber-tolerant left in the form of a gay dating site, OKCupid, alerted Firefox browser users, requesting they use another browser to access OKCupid, because of Eich’s support for Prop 8. I hate to cite Bill Maher, but he was correct for once in saying that you do not want to cross the gay mafia. The quest for equal rights and tolerance has now become a jihad with severe punishment for non-compliance. Tolerance, according to the left, is a cardinal virtue. For right thinking folks, however, tolerance requires total capitulation and adherence to group-think, even if that group is less than 4% of the population.

While Brendan Eich’s corporate career is certainly not over, he has now been painted as a pariah, a social outcast because he supports traditional marriage. In my lifetime, I never could have imagined things would come to this – supporting traditional values is anathema and, moreover, bigotry and hatred. How the homosexual lobby has twisted words and mainstreamed gay-speak. If you can’t talk their talk, you are the enemy and you deserve to be taken down by any means possible. Oh and you better walk their walk as well.

Fascism has now been painted with all the colors of the rainbow and it’s the order of the day in America. It is only a matter of time before the influence of the gay lobby impacts law in an ever-expanding arc. I can almost envision gulags or reprogramming centers for those opposed to the gay orthodoxy. It’s coming, people, and it really isn’t far off in Obama’s vision for a transformed America. The president’s announcement in support of gay marriage back in 2012 was the spark the gay lobby needed to push ever harder to redefine marriage and that now was the time to seize the opportunity. Brendan Eich is not the first addition to the gay mafia’s body count nor will he be the last.

This outing and destruction of a prominent industry leader is a despicable attack on the freedom of thought and speech by those who most vociferously demand tolerance; make that acceptance. Mr. Eich’s actions at Mozilla in no way promoted an anti-gay agenda. He did not hire, fire, promote or demote based on sexual orientation. He made no public pronouncements denouncing gays or same sex marriage. No, he quietly made a contribution as a private citizen supporting a proposition that reflected his belief in traditional marriage. But you see, the liberal definition of tolerance, being for thee and not for me, says it is OK to bring someone down when they violate the homodoxy. You are not permitted to maintain your values and beliefs…conformity to what is politically correct as dictated by the elite left is demanded. Opposition to the State’s point is view is not welcomed and will be dealt with.
