Bleeding Hearts & Boneheads
For seven years, I have stated that in my opinion Barack Obama isn’t a Muslim. For one thing, it matters less to me what someone believes than what he does. For another, he attended a racist “Christian” church in Chicago where, week after week, he and Michelle listened politely as Rev. Jeremiah Wright ravaged America, whites and Israel, in obscene diatribes he passed off as sermons. Finally, although Obama has stated that the Muslim call to prayer is the sweetest sound he has ever heard, he not only smokes and drinks, but he doesn’t prostrate himself in the direction of Mecca five times a day.
Having said all that, I have no doubt that he dislikes this country nearly as much as those Islamics who regard us as the Great Satan. And even though I don’t believe he wishes to see us nuked, mainly because he lacks the magical power to withstand the blast, I do believe that everything he has ever said and done proves that he would like nothing better than to see us knocked down a peg or two until we had no more power and influence in the world than Luxembourg.
I realize that it would get me in trouble with the Republican power brokers, people like Karl Rove, Reince Priebus and Mitch McConnell, if I were seeking the GOP nomination, but I really don’t believe Islam is a peaceful religion. I’m not even sure it should be called a religion at all or even a cult. Inasmuch as it promotes sharia law and seeks world domination, it more closely resembles a demented political movement.
I understand that politicians, who dread any suggestion that they are racist or religiously intolerant, will go to any length, no matter how absurd, to prove they hold Muslims in the same high regard they hold political donors. But that merely proves they are hypocrites who worry far more about what the NY Times writes about them than they do about national security. Otherwise, they wouldn’t turn tail and run whenever someone dares mention treating Muslim refugees and would-be immigrants differently from other people.
After 9/11, Paris, San Bernardino and a hundred other places, Muslims have earned the right to be profiled and suspected of evil intentions. To do otherwise is to turn a blind eye to recent history and not so recent history.
What do honest people think of when they consider Islam through the ages and right down to this morning? Well, there’s slavery, rape, beheadings, female genital mutilation, hostage taking, the oppression of women, honor killings, beheadings, burning people alive, crucifixions and, oh yes, pedophilia.
The apologists for Islam would be quick to point out that not every Muslim is guilty of all these atrocious acts. Of course not, who has the time? But the question remains: why would anyone in 2015 wish to be associated with a belief system that is responsible for most of the carnage taking place around the world?
It is true that other major religions have a lot of nasty deeds on their resume, but they also went through major reforms along the way so that those seeking to make a case for moral equivalency have to go back several centuries. Even then, neither Christianity nor Judaism comes close to rivaling the evil committed and condoned by Islam.
In a related matter, Obama continues to grant time off for bad behavior when it comes to Muslims imprisoned at Guantanamo. It was recently discovered that former Gitmo detainee Ibrahim Qosi (aka Sheikh Khubayb al Sudani) now has a leadership position in AQAP (al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula). The recidivism rate when it comes to Gitmo grads dwarfs even Sing Sing’s numbers, but that cuts no ice with Barack Hussein, who clearly regards the enemies of his enemy — namely, America — as his friends.
I continue to insist that ISIS, with its 40,000 jihadists riding around in trucks, is a distraction that Obama and the Democrats in Congress are in no rush to eliminate because we might otherwise focus our attention on Iran, which not only has a major military force, but a pathway to a nuclear arsenal and a missile system capable of not only reaching Israel, but the sleepwalkers in Europe.
The nincompoop in the Oval Office continues to parrot the blarney suggesting that if we see something suspicious, we should say something. Oh, really? How about if I see a Muslim kid walking around with something cocked up to look like a bomb? I say something, and the next thing I know he’s claiming it’s a clock, you’re inviting him to a White House gala and his family winds up suing everyone in sight for $15 million! Then, with the money in their pocket, it’s good-bye, Texas; hello, Qatar!
Unlike the GOP elitists, who incessantly demonize Trump’s supporters, I actually know some of them personally and they are neither racists nor lunatics. They also happen to know that he’s not number one on my wish list. Among the reasons he’s not is that he continues to suggest that if the Republican Party doesn’t treat him fairly, by which I have come to understand he means nominate him, he might run as an Independent.
If he did that, even with his ego, he has to understand he would run a distant third in the general election and that the Republican would run a distant second to Hillary Clinton. Anyone who would even consider voting for Trump in those circumstances can call himself a conservative, but that’s not even close to what I would call him.
Such a person might have what he regards as legitimate reasons not to vote for Cruz, Rubio, Fiorina, Christie or even Huckabee, Santorum, Carson, Paul and Kasich, for that matter, but providing Mrs. Clinton with the opportunity to add a few more Kagans and Sotomayors to the Supreme Court, not to mention prolonging Obama’s foreign and domestic policies, as she had pledged to do, constitutes what I regard as nothing less than treason.
Having made my case for assisted suicide recently, I accept that others might have equally strong reasons to oppose it. But I would hope that even they would go along with my idea of offering it as an option to those monsters serving life terms in prison.
My reasons are two-fold. First, if any of them went for it, we would save millions of tax dollars that would otherwise be squandered keeping them clothed, fed and confined.
But even if they passed on the opportunity, it could prove beneficial. It might once and for all force the bleeding hearts who oppose capital punishment to reconsider their beliefs. It could prove enlightening if they were to discover that those in the best position to know the facts don’t agree that a life term is a far harsher sentence than death.
Who better than the vermin who spend their days watching porn and working out with barbells and spend their nights engaging in conjugal visits and reliving the torture and brutal deaths they inflicted on their helpless victims, to confront the self-righteous saps with the enormous abyss that exists between reality and wishful thinking?
