We run this non-sectarian, non-partisan organization to ignite discussion on our world and in our communities, to educate our world about the injustice of aggressive violence.
We believe that in order to reach out to our peers most effectively, we cannot stand on religious arguments alone, and we cannot adhere entirely to one political side in our currently polarized culture. We believe that the consistent life ethic is not for any one religious group or for any one political position, but rather for everyone dedicated to human rights, life and dignity.

, After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Miami, Mr barber went on to complete his Education in constitutional law,and Mechanical engineering and metal working,Was and honor graduate of the Aberdeen Proving Grounds metal workers school U.S.Army 44b10. And a small Business owner Tradesmen Services,Mr Barber implements a full service for participants of veterans project who are homeless and veterans of all America's wars
Since founding veterans Project in early 2013,Mr Barber has taken on the overall operation of Veterans Project Social Services Program including strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs and ensuring quality services are rendered to low-income and homeless individuals, for homeless Veterans, and services for homeless children and veterans
General Information
One particular approach to improving overall services to our families and residents is through our Veterans Project starts where the family or individual is and helps them navigate employment, medical, educational, psychological and any other service or program that will help empower their life.

Awards In the initial years of operations, information will disseminated about veterans project to the target population. Clients who are interested in participating in to moving towards economic independence will be enrolled in the program. We will work with them to create an individual training and services plan, and refer them to services based on their needs.
Within this time period the anticipated outcomes include: at least 80% of clients will achieve their goals and be employed or enrolled in an appropriate education program; at least 50% of clients will transition to economic independence within 24 months of enrollment in case-management services; and 100% of clients will enjoy enhanced access to needed services via referrals, case management, transportation and/or other assistance, as needed.
Identify, strategize, and network with other organizations for funding opportunities to enhance overall programs and opportunities for low income and at risk families

There are many reasons Veterans can become homeless, including poverty, lack of support from family or friends, substance use, or mental health challenges that may develop or worsen as a result of trauma they experience while serving. Veterans Project is committed to meeting the needs of every Veteran. Comprehensive, individualized care including health care, housing assistance, job training, and education can help Veterans secure safe, stable housing and achieve self-sufficiency.
The 2014 Point-in-Time (PIT) count revealed that there were approximately 49,933 homeless Veterans on a single night in January 2014 in the United States. For the Veterans Project, even one Veteran without safe and stable housing is one too many.and that is why veterans project was started to help Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Number of veterans approximately 23 million
Increasing numbers of returning military personnel: according to the Mass. Dept. of Veterans’ Services, approximately 31,000 service members have returned to the Commonwealth
Between 529,000 and 840,000 veterans are homeless at some time during the year.2
On any given night, more than 300,000 veterans are living on the streets or in shelters in the U.S.
Approx. 33% of homeless males in the U.S. are veterans.
Veterans are twice as likely as other Americans to become chronically homeless.
Veterans represent 11% of the adult civilian population, but 26% of the homeless population, according to the Homeless Research Institute.
Veterans are more at risk of becoming homeless than non-veterans
The number of homeless Vietnam-era veterans, male and female, is greater than the number of soldiers who died during the war.
Primary causes of homelessness among veterans are:
Lack of income due to limited education and lack of transferable skills from military to civilian life (especially true of younger veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan)
Combat-related physical health issues and disabilities
Combat-related mental health issues and disabilities
Substance abuse problems that interfere with job retention
Weak social networks due to problems adjusting to civilian life
Lack of services.

A recent study conducted by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) reports that on any given night there may be over 75,600 homeless veterans in shelters and on the streets across the country. Over the course of one year (October 2008-September 2009), 136,334 veterans spent at least one night in a shelter or transitional housing program, more than 5,000 of them alongside their families.

As a result, veterans in need of help don't have many places to turn.

On any given day we the people have some 300,000 veterans on the streets of America Every day, 22 veterans take their own lives in this count our family has added my oldest son to the deaths by suicide in our country Joshua was is name he was 28 and a beautiful boy . U.S. War Death Statistics
Question, why are so many veterans of our wars, including those still in the military committing suicide? Apparently, more than 22 veterans each day according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
An estimated 22 veterans commit suicide each day. Acknowledging it as too high of a number, veterans from Murfreesboro, Tennessee are taking a stand.
Former United States Marines Joseph Wolf and Matthew O’Dell intend to stand near the Murfreesboro Square on the 22nd day of each month and, with the help of anyone that will join, save lives. They are not asking for money. They ask only that passersby become aware of this issue.
In the video, Wolf and O’Dell speak candidly about their own bouts with PTSD, depression and suicide.
I certainly don’t have a definitive answer although I can speculate on some possible reasons.
What screams loudly in this head, these guys-maybe some women-just can’t re-engage with the superficial, indifferent, disconnected society-back in the “world”- they've been thrust back into returning home compared with the shared life and death ordeal they faced each day relying on the men next to them just to survive in war.
I’ve heard of some GI’s re-upping choosing to go back in the war zone presumably to recapture that “lost” connection they had with the men they fought with. Maybe to them it returns a sort of meaning to their lives.

It is our best hope that we can assist them were the government and other none profits do not or will not large amounts of money every day go to the organizations and less than half ever reaches the troops in need and I have found few places that will house a troop for more than a few days or give them the true support and love they need with our group of people 100% of everything we take in goes back to a troop we keep nothing for our time or like other organizations take a modest administration fee for the efforts which amounts to millions going to the one in need of nothing or no help we have seen this with our own eyes,our government is doing nothing for these vets and in fact as we all can see the VA is a dangerous place these days,

We Create and distribute kits that include items such as cups, pots, pans, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and cosmetics. ( We Try coordinating this through a group that gives out meals from a van, for example.) During cold weather, organize drives for blankets, coats, hats, scarves, mittens, socks, and the like.
Phone calls. Help people experiencing homelessness contact loved ones by offering the opportunity to make free long distance calls on holidays. Donate to or organize a cell phone drive for the homeless.
