America's New War: Not everyone wants the truth, but we just need enough of us to wake up.

The fight for our rights, and against Democrats’ deliberate deception, is now

The Founders of this nation had to use bombs, bullets and bayonets to secure the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Today, we must use our brains, ballots and “boots on the ground” to maintain those rights.

The Founders did not wait for permission to secure those unalienable rights. They fought for them and won!

Our nation did not wait for permission to end slavery. We fought and won!

People’s unequivocal civil rights did not wait for permission. We demonstrated, sacrificed, fought and won the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The threats are many and are often not recognizable by many voters who get victimized by deliberate deception and intimidation, because they are too busy living their lives or drinking the liberal/progressive/Democrat Kool Aid.

We are seeing the most abusive use of legal and regulatory authority in modern times. We have to rely on the Republicans in Congress to fight those battles, along with the judicial system, which is costly and time-consuming.

But we the people can fight the deliberate deception and intimidation by bringing the truth to those willing to listen, and it is already working. Just consider the Democrats’ latest tactics of trying to silence criticism and opposition to their failed policies.

All of the threats are dangerous, but the deliberate deception (a.k.a. lies) are the most dangerous of all. Why? Because it takes advantage of the truly ignorant in our society, and they vote, and they vote for those perpetuating the lies, and more government handouts.

Democrat Deliberate Deception

Consider these examples of deliberate deception:


“The economy is improving.” Really! The GDP shrank by 2.9 percent in the first quarter of 2014. Nothing else needs to be said. The economy is not in a recovery.

“You didn’t build that!” We have all paid for the infrastructure of this nation for decades, and we are all entitled to use it to build our American dream if we choose to do so. But the government has not invested any sweat equity into the risks and work required to start, build and sustain a business. We did build that!

“The border is secure.” The Democrats have been saying this since Obama became president. We know that it is not secure, even without the current border crisis. And when you ask sheriffs of the southwest border counties if the border is secure, they unanimously say no! Even worse, the federal government under Obama already has the authority to fix the situation, but they just will not! We can only surmise that the situation is deliberate for political gain.

“Health care is a right.” We have a right in this country to eat if we fulfill the responsibility of working to secure that food. It is not the government’s responsibility to provide that food, just like it is not the government’s responsibility to provide health care. Rights require responsibilities. The “health care is a right” claim was used to make people feel they were entitled to health care and that ObamaCare was the answer. Some people are just now realizing that it isn’t the answer. It’s a deception to achieve a political objective. It makes people more dependent on government, takes away most of their health care liberties and erodes the quality of care in the best health care system in the world.

“If you like your health care plan you can keep it.” Not true and the whole world knows it. Notice how this claim is conveniently not mentioned in the mainstream media as ObamaCare horror stories continue to emerge, and as this grand health care scheme continues to implode. It’s no accident. It’s deliberate.

“There is nothing Democrats have said about ObamaCare that’s not true.” Now, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, have you been listening to any of your Democrat colleagues? They said premiums would go down, more of the uninsured would be able to get health insurance, that you could keep your doctor, and that if you like your health care plan you can keep it. Period! How could you especially miss that last one, since the Democrat president said it over and over and over? All false!

“We know that climate change is an undeniable, scientific fact.” Then why do 32,000 scientists say it’s not undeniable? Oh, I forgot, liberals and progressives ignore the facts. And why did liberals stop calling it global warming? Maybe it had something to do with the fact that some climate change professors were discovered to have changed the facts to agree with the progressives’ political agenda. Deliberate deception!

I am encouraged every day that more and more people are discovering the truth, recognizing the lies and using their brains to connect the dots for themselves. We are all foot soldiers for the truth in this fight to maintain our unalienable rights, and the truth is not going to set all of us free. We just need enough people to wake up.

I know it is easy to be discouraged in this fight, because the truth does not always make it to the ballot box or the laws of the land as fast as we would like. Remember, the independence of this nation, the end of slavery, and our undeniable civil rights took determination, patience and persistence, and a lot of people sacrificed and died for us to have these rights.

They didn’t give up, and neither should we. Our fight is now.
