The Federal Death Penalty Abolition Act, H.R. 3741, would end the death penalty for assassination or kidnapping that results in the death of the president or vice president, and also ends it for the murder of a member of Congress.

Without a doubt...they are doing everything they can to gain power and control vs. what the voting ciiizens of the U.S. want.

This article is absolutely correct and Obama is acting against the United States and if we have a recourse we must go down that path. I wonder if Congress is up to the challenge. Let us see after the November elections.

what took them so long? I could see what he was doing, or more importantly, what he was going to do just by listening to him while he was campaigning. He stated very clearly that he was going to take property from some and give to others, which he of course did, he was going to bankrupt the coal companies, which of course he did. so how much more clearly does one need to wake up the public and see what this one man has done? and all his crimes and lies and laws he changed without the consent of Congress? and all the lies he constantly spewing, about Obamacare, doctores, health insurance, Benghazi, Fast and Furious? how much more do we need as evidence in order to bring him to justice? the impeachment is long overdue!!!

True, When he first started his campaign he stated clearly, I am going to fundamentally change America, and the idiots that voted for him yelled and cheered. Just like the mass cheering for Hitler.

There Needs to be some "other removal strategy" and praying for God to intervene to help us. Pray for those that can discern and do whatever strategy God instructs (if He does) like He did with our Founders. But before He can do that, we must have national revival, repentance. We are under judgement for our gross sins and rebelliousness. It's to be expected or He would have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.
However, the good news is we are a unique country in history and He remembers and considers all past prayers of the godly people and we still have many. While President Obama has committed many egregious violations of our constitution the simple fact is that few politicians would have the courage to impeach. I suspect that impeachment would be followed by riots in many cities that would be painful to control. Sadly allowing this President to drift into post-presidency will be costly. I cannot imagine the Obama post-presidency costs that will be paid rather than face continuous gripes

I hope the we the people  agree with you. I don't even get ONE answer from any of the elected officials I send letters to about this topic. NADA. They will not...and that means that even republicans do not have the will to do it. They think that it would give the next several elections to the democrats, but sadly, they also believe that allowing illegals to vote will give republicans a lot of new voters. These guys, with the exception of a handful, are a bunch of weenies, afraid of their own shadow, and are either stupid, or don't realize that they have been elected to oppose the Marxist maneuvers of this president and the democrat parry.
I agree with the above commenter, that we MUST turn to God in prayer. Politics WILL NOT save us. I don't know what it is going to take for people to get that, as God has been hitting America pretty hard, trying to get our attention, but we have not bowed the knee, nor asked Him for help. We seem content to ask government. Soon, God will let us rely totally on government ad we'll see in a hurry that it is incapable, it is unjust, and it tramples whom it will.

There is the rub, the elected officials who also have taken their oath to the U.S. Constitution. They came to the "dance" dressed properly for the function, they all ran campaigns which reflected their presumed patriotism, but being the patriots they wanted voters to believe they were, and defending against tyranny foreign or domestic, also becomes too much for them to undertake considering they may have to part with the benefits of their stations in life.
And so, we hear "but AG Holder and Sen. Reid are Obama allies," "We need 67 Senate votes,"etc. John Boehner wouldn't think of such an extreme, history-making measure (especially with him as Speaker of the House), he didn't become #3 in presidential succession to dirty his hands just to deal with tyranny! Speaker of the House? What of all those elected Democrats who rode the ill-conceived "Obama wave" to election victory? They invested themselves 100% in Obama, through the lies, cover-ups, lawlessness, and whatever scheme he's envisioning? Two presidential terms for this Communist's election wave! They were part of it.
The Democrats in Congress haven't the integrity or courage to reverse what they've perpetrated! Now...Obama has promised that he would act "with pen and phone," obviously he knows his honeymoon is over with the Congress. They fear being so lawless, so they'll just sit this one out. Obama refuses to enforce the law of this land, he's as guilty as sin concerning that. By the same token, the Congress has yet to take matters in hand for the sake of the United States.
We cannot elect anymore Democrats, we can't trust Obama, but neither can today's Democrats be trusted. As for Republicans, we have a few good patriots, where are the rest of them? Just bodies with normal vital signs, nothing more! The job has become strictly for "the people," the dysfunction in our Capitol could go on into infinity if not stopped in its tracks.

This is the best written article I have seen which artfully and factually lays out the crimes Obama and his evil administration have committed against America. He and his henchmen Holder, Reid, Pelosi and others are guilty of high treason and deserve the most stringent penalty that can be given to them. I would prefer a firing squad, but life imprisonment would be a reminder to them exactly what happens when you commit treason against your own country. All great points Kelly, for which I cannot argue, Obama is guilty of all that I have pointed out and more. His orchestrating the flood of illegals invading our southern border, trading terrorists for a traitor etc...the problem occurs with the word impeachment. Obama would have to legitimately be POTUS to be impeached. Obama (AKA Barry Soetoro) was never eligible to run for the office of President having never provided any proof that he was a natural born citizen. We won't even get into the vote fraud conducted in his name to win re-selection. Obama for decades claimed to have been born in Kenya, the "born in Hawaii" narrative was conceived around 2007 when the Democrat/Communist Party selected their Messiah. The Birth Certificate Obama presented to the world in 2011 is a fake, a forgery, a wholly digitally created image which never began life as a paper document. Add in the fake Short Form BC, the fake Selective Service registration, his highly fictionalized autobiography (written by Bill Ayers) and we just don't know who Obama really is...can anyone say with 100% certainty where Barry was born, who his bio-parents are, his citizenship at birth, his true name at birth? The answer is a resounding NO. So, impeachment only legitimizes an illegitimate Presidency. He should be in Gitmo with his friends.
