MEN OF PEACE
"I don't know how to save the world. I don't have the answers or The Answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth's inhabitants, none of us will survive - nor will we deserve to." Leonard Peltier

MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: FOUNDERS OF MODERN TERRORISM

MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD: FOUNDERS OF MODERN TERRORISM

Only one name comes to mind when discussing terrorism these days – ISIS. And as well it should. It is the group causing the most problems for the West. We hardly hear anymore of al-Qaida or the myriad other Islamic terror organizations.
Yet, as we know, ISIS is just the latest – merely an offshoot of al-Qaida, which was created from the remnants of the Mujahedeen and so on – but it was actually the Muslim Brotherhood that started it all. Yes, the Brotherhood, which our own politicians have described as being the most reasonable and moderate. The Muslim Brotherhood, whose members roam the halls of the Capitol and White House.
It is they who are the true founders of the modern-day Islamic terror movement and they who grew under the direct tutelage of the Third Reich. Yes – the Nazis.
The Muslim Brotherhood was founded by the father of modern-era Islamist radicals – a man named Hassan al-Banna back in the 1920s. It is said his hatred for the West grew during the British colonial period in Egypt. But he was not just a rabid anti-colonialist. His dream was that of a new worldwide caliphate, where Islam would dominate the planet. Sound familiar?
Al-Banna became a groupie of sorts of Adolf Hitler and wrote to him quite often. He considered Hitler to be a kind of kindred spirit, as both hated Jews, loved authoritarianism and were addicted to violence.
Hitler took a shine to al-Banna, and with the fuhrer’s support, a Muslim Nazi army was formed in Egypt. The newly formed Arab Nazi army pledged their allegiance to Hitler, vowed to help Gen. Erwin Rommel in North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, and promised the Reich that no British or American soldier would be left alive in Egypt.
Al-Banna accepted the assistance of another radical, the grand mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, who hailed from mandatory Palestine, years before the formation of the Israeli state. The mufti actually traveled to Germany during World War II to form an Arab Nazi SS division.
In 1943 the mufti traveled several times to Bosnia, where, on orders of the SS, he recruited the notorious Hanjar Troopers, a special all Arab Waffen SS company that slaughtered 90 percent of Bosnia’s Jews. These Bosnian Muslim recruits rapidly found favor with SS chief Heinrich Himmler, who rewarded them by establishing a special mullah military school in Dresden, Germany.
So blood thirsty was the mufti that he also made a special trip to Auschwitz, to witness the extermination of Jews firsthand, where he was said to have admonished the gas chamber operators for not working quickly enough.
The Muslim Brotherhood grew quickly in that time. In 1936 it had but 800 members. By the late 1940s, numbers swelled to 500,000. In 1948 members of the Brotherhood assassinated the Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud Fahmi al-Nuqrashi and participated in the ill-fated invasion of the recently created nation of Israel.
After the war, Egypt’s Abdel Nasser, an original ally, welcomed Nazis in to his country to continue the persecution of Jews. It wasn’t until later that the Brotherhood was invited to set up shop in Saudi Arabia.
The Muslim Brotherhood had great success promoting both Nazi fascism and Islamic extremism in Saudi schools. And who was one of their prize students? That’s right, little Osama – Osama bin Laden.
In the ’70s the Brotherhood came to the conclusion that it just didn’t have the manpower to forcibly do what its founder, al-Banna, dreamed of – that of a worldwide caliphate. So it officially denounced violence. This didn’t mean they wouldn’t and didn’t dispatch fighters or facilitate violence under pseudonyms. But the Brotherhood instead opted for a bloodless (at least to start) method of conquering the West known as “Civilization Jihad.” They would leave (and encourage) the violence for others.
In 1979 the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, so off went the Saudi Nazis to fight. And thus began the formation of Maktab al Khidimat il Mujahideen (MAK). Some claim that it was actually our CIA who not only recruited the Arab Nazis to fight the Soviets, but came up with their name, since “Arab Nazis” wouldn’t play very well.
After the MAK outlasted the Russians, any American assistance dried up, and bin Laden and his band of thugs were left in Afghanistan, where he formed al-Qaida, with the help of the Saudis, who sent him payments for not returning to Saudi Arabia. The rest is pretty well-known.
What may not be known is the fact it was the Brotherhood who created Hamas in 1987 for the express purpose of attacking Israel.
So it was Egypt, not Saudi Arabia, that was the birthplace of modern-day terrorism, and it is the Muslim Brotherhood, with the aid of Hitler and the Nazis, who spawned every Islamic terrorist group in the world today. Many fighters in the Brotherhood, particularly those of Hamas, to this day still use the Nazi salute and read Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” which the Muslim Brotherhood re-titled, “My Jihad” and translated into Arabic in the 1930s.
And yet the Brotherhood was thought by the Bush White House to be a more reasonable group of Arabs that America could work with, and Obama has also welcomed them in.
