Mass Ignorance Is a Prelude to Revolution and Genocide

John F. Kennedy’s above-mentioned quote could be the foundational banner phrase for Google, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter.

If the Biblical saying (Hosea 4:6) “My people perish from lack of knowledge,”  is indeed true, many Americans should be placed at the top of the endangered species list.

America’s Report Card On Stupidity

Just how dumb are we? Consider a report from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute about civic literacy concludes that the average American is too dumb to vote intelligently.

Social media has many purposes tied to the police state surveillance grid that is in the process of being imposed on all Americans. However, the greatest damage done to America doesn’t lie in the imposition of a fascist, police state surveillance grid resulting in the greatest tyrannical government that the world has ever seen. Becoming a serf is the end result of the intentional dumbing down of America that we are witnessing. The greatest danger to a nation, as JFK so eloquently put, is its own ignorance. To that end, social media is the number one enemy to our nation’s national security and survival.

Because of social media, collectively as a nation, we no longer have eyes to see the danger coming at us at breakneck speed.

Because of social media we know no longer have ears to hear the stories of enemies in our midst (eg Deep state) who mean us harm.

Because of social media we no longer are allowed to read about  the threats to our culture, our civilization and even our survival. The social media experiment has been successful in dumbing us down to the point where most of our fellow citizens are incapable of analyzing the dangers to our way of life that are no longer being hidden as they are exposed for all to see. However, should we be surprised? Let’s take a look at the abject ignorance that has permeated our culture on a widespread basis.

In a national survey of general knowledge, there were some facts that stood out and should give pause as whether Americans are capable, as a nation, of meeting and defeating some perceived threat. The argument could be made that most Americans will never see the danger coming. Why? Because most Americans have no appreciation or knowledge about the general nature of the culture that they live in. How can one lose something when they cannot even identify it? What is that something? That something is freedom. And history clearly shows that when freedom disappears so do people, lots and lots of people.

In a test of general knowledge. over 70% of the test takers, including college students and elected officials flunked the 33 multiple choice question test which covered basic civics. In other words, they do not know how their government works, or is supposed to work. It is boring to the young, because the young have not learned the value of learning. To generations like the millennials, they are all about instant gratification and if something takes work to learn, well…. there’s always the next text message.

How bad are the results of general knowledge tests about our culture is supposed to work? Consider the incredulous fact that 27% of the elected officials surveyed could not name one of the five rights contained in the first amendment in a recent survey. When someone screams “that’s unconstitutional”, you may as well be reciting quantum physics theorems because most people will have idea what you are talking about.

Ask yourself a question, how will we know when the country is placed under martial law? The answer: We won’t!  But neither will the majority of our leaders.

Rick Shenkman, author of the book Just How Dumb Are We, found that 87% of American college students could not find Iraq on a map. In fact, Shenkman also found that:

• – Only 1 in 5 know that we have 100 United States senators.
• -Only 2 out of 5 citizens can name the three branches of the federal government.
• -Only 20% of young Americans between the ages 18-34 read a newspaper daily. An amazingly low 11% report surfing Internet news sites.
• In the same set of studies, Shenkman discovered that among 18- to 24-year-old Americans given maps:-83 percent cannot find Afghanistan
  –76 percent cannot find Saudi Arabia
  –70 percent cannot find New Jersey
  –11 percent cannot find the United States

Only 17% of college graduates understood the contrast between a free market economy and centralized planning. Perhaps this explains why America was not rioting in the streets following the passage of the bail outs that stole money from our collective pockets and gave it to the banking criminals whose ponzi schemes caused the crash of the American economy in 2008-2009. I am left wondering what percentage of Americans actually believe that the Federal Reserve is both Federal and has reserves. Soon, nearly 100% of Americans will not be able to find their wallets.

America Is Ready to Enter a New Phase of Abject Stupidity Led by Social Media

Youtube (YT) has embarked on an unprecedented journey into journalistic stupidity and the media has followed them. YT has hired Wikipedia and an Encyclopedia company to determine what is “authoritative news”, and the media promotes this like it is a good idea. No university in the country would allow its students to cite an encyclopedia and especially use Wikipedia for the same purpose.

And encyclopedia is a history book and cannot possibly be current and therefore, its contributors have no credentials which would allow them to judge anything to do with current events. Wikipedia is a collection of opinions that is constantly added to without going through peer review or possessing established and traditional documentation standards. When I have taught graduate and undergraduate courses, if a student used nothing but Wikipedia to cite anything, they would fail that assignment. By the way, Wikipedia is owned by a man named Draper. He is a globalist deluxe and believes in the most extreme globalist causes. His son is one of the leaders of the CALEXIT movement. So, how objective, forgetting lack of academic rigor, can Wikipedia’s review process be when they impose their ‘opinion” on everyone else. What Youtube and their social media partners of Facebook and Twitter, who are employing the same practices in the same time frame, are doing is to make a mockery of journalistic integrity. This is thinly veiled censorship designed to dumb down the users of these platforms. My former professor colleagues are laughing hysterically at this practice. Finally, when I write an article. I start with a factual event, in most cases. Then I impose by documented opinion, or personal reaction to the event from a conservative Christian point of view. In other words, Youtube is judging my op-ed pieces of opinion as original news so they can label my opinion, often accompanied by documentation, as fake news. How can an opinion, based on a known fact be fake news? IT IS AN OPINION.  Yet, the MSM, some who have degrees in journalism, which would have included proper citation methods, supports this process and makes a mockery of journalism. What a joke! Fake news is the term that has replaced conspiracy theory and it has to be used because the public knows that there are conspiracies (eg JFK assassination, etc).

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would venture to say that there is very little unfettered and honest news left. The MSM does nothing to promote honest journalism. The purveyors of fake news comes out of the MSM. Since most people now get their news from digital sources, America is going to continue to be misinformed, just on a greater scale and the price of that ignorance is the loss of freedom, the loss of one’s soul and eventually, the loss of one’s life.

What is the antidote? We must all emotionally and financially support the authors and broadcasters who promote journalistic integrity and produce programs and stories that follow the data trail, instead of letting the agenda determine the outcome of a media presentation.  Also, everyone, and I mean everyone who is awake needs to open their own website and reproduce the links to worthy news items from the Independent Media. When the ignorant of our society label you fake news, then you just refer them to your website, which can be incredibly easy to maintain. This could also serve as a replacement for Facebook and their data-stealing ways. America, if you do not take action, such as what I am describing here, the only sound that you will hear, and the only words that you will read will be from the person’s boot who stamping on your neck
