"I don't know how to save the world. I don't have the answers or The Answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth's inhabitants, none of us will survive - nor will we deserve to." Leonard Peltier

Racism' as a Tool of Racists

Racism' as a Tool of Racists

Never in human history has a word been used as often and as incorrectly as “racism” is used these days in America.

For years, it was used to condemn those who wore white sheets and lynched black men. Then it was used to condemn those who used Jim Crow laws to subjugate black people, forcing them to attend sub-standard schools; use separate bathrooms, water fountains and lunch counters; and to sit in certain sections of movie theaters, buses and trains.

Today, it is used to trash white people who oppose socialists and globalists. It is tossed around as freely as rice at a wedding. It has nothing to do with how white people actually treat black people. Instead, it is used as an all-purpose curse word, the equivalent of calling someone a bastard or an s.o.b., intended to deny the person’s humanity.

As we all know, the most openly racist individuals in America are blacks. Some people, such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Elijah Cummings, John Lewis and Maxine Waters, have carved out successful careers based solely on their racist words and actions.

Black racists keep talking about the Ku Klux Klan, a group that can barely round up a dozen knuckle-dragging, slack-jawed, imbeciles for a rally. But Black Lives Matter hold massive demonstrations in one city after another and nobody even says “Boo.”

Barack Obama, arguably the worst and most anti-American president in our nation’s history, has a history of labeling those who objected to his words and actions as racists.

The most obvious problem with that is that it ignores the fact that many of those same white “bigots” admire and respect Thomas Sowell, Ben Carson, Walter Williams, Jayson Riley, Condoleezza Rice, Denzel Washington, Harris Faulkner and Clarence Thomas. As a rule, as even Obama would have to admit, racists aren’t all that selective. It’s also worth noting that the aforementioned individuals are entirely black, not half and half like Obama.

Even Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor, grateful as they must be that Ruth Bader Ginsburg can still stay awake long enough to vote, must be embarrassed when the 85-year-old justice ventures out of her comfort zone and appears on TV, where those of us whose lives she continues to affect can witness the pathetic shape she’s in, barely able to form words.

I know that Supreme Court justices are granted lifetime tenures in order to free them from political pressure. But when it leads to someone like Mrs. Ginsburg representing 11% of the highest court in the land, you don’t have to be a geriatric physician to notice a fatal glitch in the system.

At the age of 85, Mrs. Ginsburg has announced she has no intention of retiring for at least another five years. But if Donald Trump is still in the White House, I suspect she would stick around, hoping he’d be replaced by a Democrat. That would make her the oldest person to ever sit on the Court, exceeding Oliver Wendell Holmes and John Paul Stevens, who took their leave at the age of 90.

In case you’re interested, the next oldest member of the current court is Stephen Breyer, 80. The others, in descending order, are Thomas (70), Alito (68), Sotomayor (64), Roberts (63), Kagan (58) and Gorsuch (51). Brett Kavanaugh is 53.

Because of 24/7 TV coverage of natural disasters, it’s easy for the weather hoaxers to convince people that global warming is the root cause of all the havoc. But, globally, there has been no increase in the number or severity of droughts, cyclones, hurricanes and tsunamis. In fact, the number of hurricanes has decreased since 1950.

The success of Al Gore and his band of self-serving scientists can mainly be credited to the fact that young Americans have never been taught history of any kind. Because they have never studied political or economic history, they babble about the glories of socialism. Because their lack of interest in anything that occurred prior to their birth extends even to weather, they parrot nonsense about man’s power to control or even influence Mother Nature.

Because the only thing that approaches the enormity of their ignorance is their ego, they don’t really believe the world existed prior to their emergence from the birth canal.

Speaking of ego, John Kerry who was as ill-suited to be a senator and a secretary of state as he was to be a member of the U.S. military, has been spending his time going around the world telling the mullahs in Iran and the anti-American globalists in the EU that if they just wait out Donald Trump, America will come to its senses in 2020 and elect someone more in the image of Barack Obama, someone who, unlike Donald Trump, always put America last.

Michael Bloomberg would like to be that someone. With approximately $50 billion to his name, he could easily finance his own campaign. He’ll be 78 when the 2020 election rolls around, 79 by the time he assumed office. But, of course, he could always point to Justice Ginsburg as an example of someone who is just as good now as the day she was appointed. And he wouldn’t be lying.

Image result for Hillary ClintonLike Hillary Clinton, he could boast that he’d be breaking the glass ceiling because he’d be the first Jewish president were he to win.

As we all know, the taller presidential candidate nearly always wins the election, apparently because the American electorate thinks the president is often called upon to get things down off high shelves.

That being the case, Bloomberg could be in a spot of trouble. He claims to be 5-foot-8, but if you’ve ever seen him, you know he’d have to be wearing elevator shoes and standing on his tiptoes to reach that height.

I’m afraid he would need a very tall ladder to get within striking distance of that glass ceiling.

Although I never received a response to the email I sent Mollie Hemingway asking why it is that neither she nor anyone else in the media ever asks people like Comey, McCabe, Strzok and Ohr, why they threw themselves on their swords for Hillary Clinton, my admiration for her remains unabated.

After watching her slice and dice uberliberal Leslie Marshall and Never-Trumper Jonah Goldberg on Bret Baier’s panel, I found myself wondering where dunces like Goldberg, Marshall, Mara Liasson and A.B. Stoddard, find the courage to share a panel with her, knowing that millions of Fox viewers are going to witness their public humiliation.

Although I would like to see more Republicans elected this November in order to make it possible for President Trump to move his agenda along, there’s a part of me that would like to see the Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell wing of the GOP go down in flames, a fitting punishment for their failure to build Trump’s big, beautiful and very necessary wall.

It is indefensible that our immigration policy is so pathetic that people storming our border are granted their day in court, which translates to their promising to show up on a certain day to have their case adjudicated. If you don’t sign up to come here legally, there’s nothing to adjudicate.

As a result of this corrupt system, 98% of those who have attempted to enter the country illegally in recent years are here to stay.

If I had the power, there would be no wall, merely a series of towers equipped with machine guns. Nobody is allowed to break into our homes, and for those who were born here or came here legally, America is our home
