The World's Foremost Terrorist - The US Government

The World's Foremost Terrorist - The US Government

The Truth About Terrorism, and the U.S. Government

The Truth About Terrorism, and the U.S. Government

by Scott Lazarowitz

Recently by Scott Lazarowitz: The Choice Between Two Americas

My writing this was inspired by Paul Craig Roberts’s great article The War on Terror, in which he tells the truth about what’s really going on, and I wanted to expand more on this terrorism subject.

There are many reasons why the U.S. government needs to place itself on the Terrorist Watch List, but since there isn’t enough space to include all that here, I’ll just touch on the most important points.

To begin, millions of Americans report their income and employment status to the U.S. government out of fear, and for no other reason. It certainly isn’t out of the goodness of their hearts (except for the most naïve amongst us). Most Americans who are required to pay a certain percentage of their income to the feds aren’t really paying – it is being taken from them under the threat of various intrusions, such as garnishing their wages or putting a lien on their homes (like a lien on one’s home really matters anymore now in the time of ForeclosureGate). For many Americans, the taking is automatic, directly from their paychecks. So employers as well as workers must submit to the threat of brute force if they don’t comply with the demand for information on employment status and payment. Millions of Americans are terrorized by the federal government, not only for what might happen to them if they don’t comply with the demands, but if a mistake is made. There have been horror stories told by many Americans of what happened to them because a mistake was made – including mistakes made by the government.

And many owners of businesses, especially of small businesses, are terrified that they will be persecuted by some government bureaucrat for not following one of the many thousands of regulations that businesses must obey, regulations that exist for no good reason – only to protect larger businesses’ profits. (Thanks, Herr Lincoln.) And especially because of the unstable economic environment now, millions of businesses are afraid to take risks, make any new investments, or hire new workers because they don’t know what the situation will be for them even months from now, let alone years. And Congress won’t even let people know whether or not the Bush tax cuts will be extended or allowed to expire after January 1st, 2011. No one knows what to do. (I’m sure businesses and workers all across America would prosper, if we could only abolish Congress.)

Regarding the War on Terrorism and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), I am now terrified of flying. This is not because a terrorist might hijack the plane, but because of the intrusiveness of what people now have to endure when going through security checkpoints: the pornographic X-rays, the frisking and groping, the searching of my clothing and belongings, the harsh interrogations. Out of their blind faith in the State, the American sheeple have assumed that there should be no alternative to the State’s monopoly in territorial protection, and have passively accepted the constantly growing intrusions by the State against the people and their Liberty. As an experienced pilot has suggested, the airlines should be responsible for their security, not the government. And arm the pilots as well. And arm the passengers as well. In the meantime, I won’t fly.

And then there are the anti-civil liberties, anti-Due Process presidential powers that the Bush Administration had usurped, and that the Obama Administration seems to enjoy having, of apprehending and detaining individuals without actual suspicion, of extraordinary rendition, torture, even presidentially-directed assassinations of individuals deemed by the president and his agents to be "terrorists" without due process or trial. And, given that the whole world, including U.S. territory, is considered to be part of the Global Battlefield in the Global War on Terror, and given that Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano has issued warnings against "right-wing extremists," essentially those who disagree with Obama’s policies, and given that I happen to be one who disagrees with just about all of Obama’s policies from his war crimes to his communist social policies, then obviously no place in America is safe, and it really is terrifying now.

And regarding the federal government’s intrusions into Americans’ private health matters, I know someone who has said that, because of the new ObamaCare medical intrusions, he will not have his follow-up medical procedures as long as ObamaCare is in place. He just doesn’t want his medical details being scrutinized by government officials. And I also have some health situations for which I rely very much on OTC vitamins and supplements. But, because the Obama FDA wants to crack down on OTC supplement makers, that really is a direct threat to me. I am literally terrified that these bureaucratic misfits in Washington want to take away my only real means of keeping me in (somewhat) good health, and all on behalf of Big Pharma. It’s disgusting how so many people in various federal agencies are on the boards of large pharmaceutical industries, and the cahoots between Big Pharma and Big Government, with lobbyists and campaign donations to legislators to vote Big Pharma’s way, is downright scary.

Also, because the U.S. government has done nothing but provoke Muslims in Middle Eastern countries to act against Americans, I am terrified of another major terrorist attack in the U.S. It would be solely because of what the U.S. government has been doing, especially since 1990. The U.S. government’s actions of terrorism against innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other parts of the Middle East, and its intrusions into just about every aspect of daily life, have been making me less safe, as well as all other Americans.

Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Bush’s father George H.W. Bush actually should all be tried for war crimes and terrorism, especially against Muslims in the Middle East. The IRS, the FDA, the TSA, and other extensions of the federal Leviathan also need to be held accountable for their actions. If we can’t have that, then at the very least, the U.S. government must place itself on the Terror Watch List, as it is the one organization that has been most responsible for terrorizing the most people, ever.

How Gold and Silver are Warning U.S.

Gold is Sounding an Alarm Few in the Mainstream Media Want to Discuss

The questions is - Why are Gold and Silver Price Alarms going off?

First, Western World budget deficits are now totally uncontrolled. Debt is esentially destroying the Western World

Second, The Obama administration has saddled us with enough debt at the federal level to last three generations all in the name of "stimulus".

Third, The US Federal Reserve is Insolvent and Bankrupt They have flooded the system with liquidity through Quantitative Easing

They have loaded their balance sheet with worthless loan paper and reduced interest rates to 0% for over 20 months

And What have been the results? Paralyzed job growth., record unemployment, record food stamps, and record poverty levels.

Gold and Silver are sounding the Alarm, but Food and Energy price increases will soon follow.

The face of Inflation has recently reared its ugly head in commodity prices.

The Commodity sector is driving food prices to levels not seen since 2008. (Graph of Commodities prices)

When higher commodity prices translate into $500 grocery bills, recession weary americans may go into economic shock.

Energy Prices have stayed in check, but this may be the calm before the oil price storm.

When oil and energy prices rise rapidly, home heating bills, home cooling bills and gasoline prices will join the long list of soaring costs nationwide.

Remember when gasoline went to $5 dollars per gallon? A sheer panic ripped across this country. It's coming again, but be prepared for the prices to stay

The combination of skyhigh food and gasoline prices may be the final nail in the coffin of the American Middle Class.

Travelling with Physical Gold Coins as insurance will soon become the norm. In many parts of the world the 1996 $50 or $100 US note is worthless because of the quality of counterfeits being printed internationally.

In Europe, American travellers are learning that the US Dollar is untradeable on the street. And Personally, 1 gold coin got me out of a very bad situation in Mexico City during the H1N1 outbreak.

Make no mistake about what you are seeing, especially with the price action of gold and silver.

Both metals are signifying a loss of confidence in the Dollar and particularly in its management team.

The Price of gold is no longer mental speculation, but rather reality hiding in plain sight.

The Day when every American recognizes paper bills as trash and gold and silver as true money, is almost here.

Big Brother/it adds up to socialism.

Big Brother/it adds up to socialism.

No, Fox news doesn't tell the truth, they lie just like every other media news outlet in the country. One of the few truthful things that has come out of Fox news's mouth is that the Federal Reserve is a private bank and we're stupid for allowing a PRIVATE corporation manage our money. Thomas Jefferson said that If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issues of our banks "their [the American people's] children will wake up homeless conquered by their fathers"

Great video. Socialism is wrong for our nation or any nation and Obama is a socialist. Pelosi is a also a socialist. These people are delusional and can't see past their own thirst for power. It's all about them taking our freedoms away a little at a time. They have it all figured out and don't think for one second that they are stupid. This is part of the systematic dismemberment of our Constitution.

Stop giving up you little freedoms as time rolls on. In the end, it adds up to socialism.

Philosophical Anarchist

If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.

The science of war leads one to dictatorship, pure and simple. The science of non-violence alone can lead one to pure democracy...Power based on love is thousand times more effective and permanent than power derived from fear of punishment....It is a blasphemy to say non-violence can be practiced only by individuals and never by nations which are composed of individuals...The nearest approach to purest anarchy would be a democracy based on non-violence...A society organised and run on the basis of complete non-violence would be the purest anarchy

I have conceded that even in a non-violent state a police force may be necessary...Police ranks will be composed of believers in non-violence. The people will instinctively render them every help and through mutual cooperation they will easily deal with the ever decreasing disturbances...Violent quarrels between labor and capital and strikes will be few and far between in a non-violent state because the influence of the non-violent majority will be great as to respect the principle elements in society. Similarly, there will be no room for communal disturbances....

A non-violent army acts unlike armed men, as well in times of peace as in times of disturbances. Theirs will be the duty of bringing warring communities together, carrying peace propaganda, engaging in activities that would bring and keep them in touch with every single person in their parish or division. Such an army should be ready to cope with any emergency, and in order to still the frenzy of mobs should risk their lives in numbers sufficient for that purpose. ...Satyagraha (truth-force) brigades can be organised in every village and every block of buildings in the cities. [If the non-violent society is attacked from without] there are two ways open to non-violence. To yield possession, but non-cooperate with the aggressor...prefer death to submission. The second way would be non-violent resistance by the people who have been trained in the non-violent way...The unexpected spectacle of endless rows upon rows of men and women simply dying rather than surrender to the will of an aggressor must ultimately melt him and his soldiery...

A nation or group which has made non-violence its final policy cannot be subjected to slavery even by the atom bomb.... The level of non-violence in that nation, if that even happily comes to pass, will naturally have risen so high as to command universal respect.

OAKLAND, CA -- In response to the voting results on Proposition 19, the California ballot measure to control and tax marijuana, Prop. 19 proponent Richard Lee released the following statement:

“The fact that millions of Californians voted to legalize marijuana is a tremendous victory. We have broken the glass ceiling. Prop. 19 has changed the terms of the debate. And that was a major strategic goal.

“Over the course of the last year, it has become clear that the legalization of marijuana is no longer a question of if but a question of when. Because of this campaign, millions now understand it’s time to develop an exit strategy for the failed war on marijuana. Across the state our opponents, including many newspaper editorial boards that failed to properly understand Prop. 19, repeatedly stated that their quibbles were not with legalization in general. When we come back with a new initiative in 2012, there will be a seat at the table for all of these new stakeholders. And we will be coming back, stronger than ever.

“With limited resources this time around we were able to build an enormously powerful coalition of cops and moms, law professors and civil rights leaders, liberals and libertarians, conservatives and unions; all hungry for change. For the first time we were able to unite in favor of legalization. Groups like the National Black Police Association, the National Latino Officers Association, the California Council of Churches IMAPCT, California NAACP, SEIU of California, United Food and Commercial Workers Western States Council, members of the U.S. Congress, local Democratic party committees, state legislators and many, many individual law enforcers, faith leaders, civil rights activists, students, professors of law and business leaders said it’s time for a new beginning. This coalition will only continue to grow in size and strength as we prepare for 2012.

“Even the establishment was divided. While Senator Dianne Feinstein lent her name to the opposition, others, realizing that legalization is on its way, got in front of the message. When Gov. Schwarzenegger signed SB 1449, the bill reducing marijuana offenses to an infraction, a few weeks ago, it was a clear concession to the power of the legalization movement and a recognition of the obvious failure of our marijuana laws. This singular change in law, brought about by the momentum of our campaign, will protect tens of thousands of Californians from arrest each and every year. It will save California taxpayers money, and it will make our streets safer. But it’s only a start, and there’s much more work to be done.

“And the American public will help bring about this change. A Gallup poll released just a few days ago found record support for legalization across the country, with 46 percent saying they think marijuana use ‘should be made legal.’ That’s a bigger result than Gallup has ever recorded in its 40-year history asking this question.

“The issue is generational. Fully 70 percent of 18-29 year-olds are in favor of legalization. And, many of the biggest contributors to the campaign were younger and based in Silicon Valley, representing a changing of the guard of political influence and leadership. With the help of our coalition, many of these new leaders are going to bring about the change that is now inevitable. Inspired by the momentum we’ve generated with Prop 19 here in California, we’re beginning to see other states gearing up for legalization efforts, both via ballot initiative in states like Washington, Nevada and Colorado, and in the state legislature in places like Rhode Island.

“And so, while we didn’t bring in enough votes tonight to pass Prop. 19, we know that we have achieved an enormous moral victory, and that there are millions of people across the country who are prepared to help finish the job they started here today when we come back to the polls stronger than ever in 2012.”

Men often become what they believe themselves to be

Theoretically, one could imagine a situation where armed intervention at an early stage might prevent large-scale conflict. The problem is that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to predict the outcome of violence. That it will be just is not guaranteed at the outset – it will only become clear in hindsight. The ...only certainty is that where there is violence, there is always and inevitably suffering.

Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning.
We may consider each generation as a distinct nation, with a right, by the will of its majority, to bind themselves, but none to bind the succeeding generation, more than the inhabitants of another country. If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.

There is no denying that consideration of others is worthwhile and that our happiness is inextricably bound up with the happiness of others. There is no denying that if society suffers, we ourselves suffer, and the more our hearts and minds are afflicted with ill-will, the more miserable we become. We can reject religi...on, ideology, received wisdom, but we cannot escape the need for love and compassion.

The consensus that science and spirituality are incompatible no longer holds firm. As the scientific understanding of the nature of reality deepens, perceptions are changing and people are beginning to show more interest in what I call our inner world. By this, I mean the dynamics and functions of consciousness: both our hearts and our minds.

Those who say the Dalai Lama is unrealistic in advocating unconditional love, I urge them to experiment with it nonetheless. They will discover that when we reach beyond the confines of narrow self-interest, our hearts become filled with strength. Peace and joy become our constant companions. It breaks down barriers of... every kind and destroys the notion of my interests being independent from others' interests.

The modern world is such that the interests of a particular country or community can no longer be considered to lie within the confines of its own boundaries. Cultivating contentment is therefore crucial to maintaining peaceful coexistence because discontent breeds a sense of acquisitiveness that can never be satisfied.

We may consider each generation as a distinct nation, with a right, by the will of its majority, to bind themselves, but none to bind the succeeding generation, more than the inhabitants of another country.

Marijuana Legalization: Big business killed it welcome to the industrial complex of america

California's marijuana legalization initiative, Proposition 19, didn't win a majority of votes yesterday but it already represents an extraordinary victory for the broader movement to legalize marijuana.

What's most important is the way its mere presence on the ballot, combined with a well run campaign, has transformed public dialogue about marijuana and marijuana policy. The media coverage, not just in California but around the country and even internationally, has been exceptional, both in quantity and quality. More people knew about Prop 19 than any other measure on the ballot this year -- not just in California but nationwide.

The debate is shifting from whether marijuana should be legalized to how. Public opinion polls in California consistently reveal that a majority of the state's citizens favor legalizing marijuana. One "No on 19" campaign spokesman admitted that even his own supporters were divided between those who oppose legalizing marijuana and those who favor legalization but were wary of either Prop 19's specific provisions or the federal government's threats to block it from being implemented.

Prop 19 both elevated and legitimized public discourse about marijuana. It's the small but growing number of elected officials who endorsed Prop 19 or said they'd vote for it -- and the increasingly frequent private expressions of support by candidates and elected officials who said they wished they could be public about their position. It's the growing number of endorsements by labor unions, including SEIU California, and civil rights organizations, including the California chapter of the NAACP and the National Latino Officers Association.

The international attention, especially in Latin America, has been extensive. Mexican President Calderon and Colombian President Santos both criticized Proposition 19, pointing to it as evidence of inconsistency in US drug policy. But the possibility that Prop 19 might win did prompt both presidents to call for more open debate about legalization and other alternatives to current drug policy. Mexican diplomatic officials publicly castigated Prop 19 but privately said they hoped it would win. No one thought a victory for Prop 19 would instantly put the violent Mexican drug trafficking organizations out of business but everyone recognized that it would represent a major step forward toward ultimately legalizing marijuana on both sides of the border. And that most definitely would undermine the criminal organizations, who would lose their competitive advantage just as repealing national alcohol Prohibition eventually did away with the bootleggers.

"How great it would be for California to set this example," former Mexican President Vicente Fox said in a radio interview last week. "May God let it pass. The other U.S. states will have to follow step."

There's now solid and increasing evidence that marijuana legalization is an issue that young people care about a lot -- and that putting it on the ballot increases the chances that they'll actually vote. Both major parties have no choice but to pay attention, especially when the political allegiances of young voters are very much up for grabs. Democrats correctly see the marijuana issue as bringing out more votes for them than for Republicans. Asked what would bring out young, first-time Barack Obama voters again, the chairman of the California Democratic Party, John Burton, responded with one word: "Pot."

It's notable, though, that Meg Whitman, the Republican candidate for governor in California, did not actively campaign against Prop 19, most likely because she did not want to alienate young voters who don't identify as Democrats but who do feel strongly about legalizing marijuana. Younger voters across the political spectrum increasingly lean libertarian, especially on issues like marijuana. Both Democrats and Republicans will need to re-think this issue when Gary Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico who has championed marijuana legalization and "harm reduction" drug policies for other drugs, runs in the Republican presidential primaries next year, as he seems sure to do. First-time and other young voters may gravitate in substantial numbers toward his message -- and all the more so if Ron Paul decides to hand off the baton to his younger ideological soul mate.

For those of us engaged in long term strategizing on marijuana law reform, the plan is the same as it would have been if Prop 19 had won: to put the issue to voters in states where public opinion polls show majority support for legalizing marijuana, and to introduce similar bills in state legislatures. Public support for legalizing marijuana now approaches or tops 50% not just in California but in a growing number of western states, including Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Colorado and Nevada -- so it's reasonable to expect ballot initiatives on the issue in those states in coming years. It's too soon to say whether the issue will be back on the ballot in California in 2012 but at the very least we know that a bill to regulate and tax marijuana will be considered by the state legislature, just as one was earlier this year. And a flurry of similar bills can be expected around the country as state legislators, emboldened by Proposition 19 and rapidly increasing support nationwide for marijuana legalization, kick start the conversation in their own legislatures.

Meanwhile, Prop 19 already can claim one hard victory: Governor Schwarzenegger recently signed into law a bill that will reduce the penalty for marijuana possession from a misdemeanor to a non-arrestable infraction, like a traffic ticket. That's no small matter in a state where arrests for marijuana possession totaled 61,000 last year -- roughly triple the number in 1990. It's widely assumed that the principal reason the governor signed the bill, which had been introduced by a liberal state senator, Mark Leno, was to undermine one of the key arguments in favor of Prop 19.>

Demographics, economics and principle all favor the ultimate demise of marijuana prohibition. Over half of California voters under the age of fifty said they'd vote for Proposition 19, and likely did. The youngest voters are most in favor while the most elderly voters are the most opposed. Meanwhile, the economic arguments for legalizing marijuana -- including both the savings from reduced spending on law enforcement and the revenues from taxing legal marijuana, will only grow more persuasive. Marijuana isn't going to legalize itself, but momentum is building like never before among Americans across the political spectrum who think it's time to take marijuana out of the closet and out of the criminal justice system.

Only the poor can & will make the real change

Only the poor can & will make the real change.
by Dakota J Barber on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 3:19pm

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and cause me to tremble for safety of my country; corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in High Places will follow, and the Money Power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the People, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic destroyed.

Why don't more people stand up in the world? Are you so afraid of the government and what they will do to you and your family and friends if you try?? Then how do we get real change? How do we keep our sanity as the new world order takes over and banishes our children and their children, of ours & their rights? Our fore father's lived by and wrote the consitution for all,not just the rich or big buissness. If the poor uprises, and( the poor will probably be the only one's to be able to change things,)because it's the poor who are the suffering, not the rich, the poor are the one's keeping the rich ,rich.

They are the one's picking the cotton for your cloth's,or out in the field's picking crops for the market's or the truck driver who drives all night accross country to deliver the goods we all need to live and prosper. The tea parties are all well and good,it let's the government know how we feel, but will that do any good? I think not..The only real change will be with the poor. When you finally have had enough taken away from you, when your told what you can and what you can't do,your gun law's are in question, what car you can or can't drive, how much money you can or can't make, even health care, you don't take what the government offers, they fine you $1000.00 or more. ( When a ally cat is backed into a corner by a dog, it fights back with every open claw to takes it's eye's out, this is the only way the cat can continue to survive in the world that dosent want it.)

Alot of us in the world are like that cat, others just go with the flow because they are scared,or lost with no one to guide them there fore they follow like cattle to the slotter.
This is where the fema concentration camp's come in. The government has known for a long time that there will be an uprising, sooner or later the people just can't,or wont take it anymore. They've got them set up everywhere, the largest fema concentration camp is based in Alaska reportedly capeable of holding one million citizen's with out due process of the law. This has been showen to be true as it has been done before at gitmo, with the holding of terroist who had no rights under american law's, except this time, it will be citezen's of our nation who will be held without justice, and maybe our children and their children? Can we live with that?

So are we, as the people of the United States of America, are we going to let the government take us down? The statue of Liberty stands for all to come to this country to live and prosper,to find the american dream, that living here you can pursue your dream and achieve it. Not to have the government over tax and take the dream from you for no other reason than, they can.I feel we must remember these words and live by them with out this change there will be no change: You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away
people's initiative and independence.

This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it.

Tonight, we gather to affirm the greatness of our nation - not because of the height of our skyscrapers, or the power of our military, or the size of our economy. Our pride is based on a very simple premise, summed up in a declaration made over two hundred years ago.
Barack Obama
My parents shared not only an improbable love, they shared an abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation. They would give me an African name, Barack, or blessed, believing that in a tolerant America your name is no barrier to success.
Barack Obama
One of the great strengths of the United States is... we have a very large Christian population - we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.
Barack Obama If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world. Abraham Lincoln

Is there anybody out there who will listen or even care,As whites are less protected in America than any other race? .AND WHEN ANY RACE IS SEPERATED BY PROTECTION OF THE LAWS SET FORTH FOR ALL AMERICANS WELL THAT IS DISCRIMINATION ANY WAY YOU SLICE IT AND A LEGAL FORM OF OPPRESSION

On April 16th 2010, my son was walking his dog he broke away from is leash and possibly might have bitten a small child Which it did not we fouund out later, there were no injurys reported by the Mr Arnold. The Victim???

My son his girlfriend my husband and I went looking for the dog on our complex where we lived. The dog was found and put back into the house in a matter of a few minutes. In the mean time my husband and I still looking for the dog had run into the father, (a black man) of the child who had allegedly been bit. Understanding anyone would be upset, we tried to talk to the man calmly asking him if the child was alright and if we could see the child, but before we could get it all out of our mouths, the man yelled at us saying, "YOUR F---KING DOG BIT MY KID" in doing so, bending my husband back over the bushes in his face, my husband then took both hands wide open and pushed the man back telling him to get back out of his face, with that the man punched my husband to the right side of the face,
I immediately jumped in the middle when he pushed me out of the way to punch my husband again in the face before he even got a chance to stand up on his feet. The police of course was called by both parties. Animal control was also called, and took the dog away. The paramedics also came. The man refused any help from the paramedics for his child who was supposed to be severely injured, later found out he took the child to the hospital where he is a nurse. The San Bernardino police who was dispatched to the scene immediately arrested my husband whose face had been crushed in and severely fractured by this man. The first punch had fractured his right eye socket, cheek bone, jaw. The second punch knocked out his front teeth.
The paramedics looked at Joe, (my husband) in the back seat of our personnel car, there remarks were, "OH HE MIGHT HAVE A SLIGHT CONCUSHION AND HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WAS ALITTLE HIGH,” And they left it as that. They didn't even give him a cloth to cover his mouth from all the blood that was gushing out of his mouth. Joe was cooperative with everyone involved. When they went to leave to take him to jail, the cruiser stopped and the next thing you know there was several cop's in the back seat with Joe grabbing his already smashed in face slamming his face and head into the seat belts or door of the cruiser.
They tied his feet to a hook of some kind to keep his feet from moving and tied a spit mask on his face. Come to find out the officer said he spit on him, yet it is not in any reports, only resistance and violence is on a one page report telling me what the charges are. The officer, Officer Clough, said on the stand that he spit on him thru one solid plexy glass, a metal criss cross gate and another solid plexy glass hitting him on the right side of the face and neck. Then he said, “The door hit his leg while masking Joe, then he changed his testimony to, "well his foot I think brushed up against my thigh." I'm still trying to figure out how he's able to spit thru all those windows especially when he had no teeth, a broken jaw, and fractured cheek bone and eye socket?
(Unfortunately the guy who did all the damage never got arrested or even sited.)
They are treating him, as if he is the victim. Even though there is a tape showing that Joe is not the aggressor but the victim. (In which I have attached to this e-mail. I hope you will view it.) The public defender was told about the video that was taken by the apartment’s cameras where we lived at the time. My sister and I took her camera phone and recorded the incident. Later just one day before the camera loops, and all is gone, a security officer came to record the same incident. We asked him to make sure it was recorded in real time, he said he would. Come to find out he recorded it in very fast time, so now the public defender says we can't use it. Our video, although not professional or very clear, has audio. The apt. manager, who is unbiased in every way, identifies three of the individuals in the video. Then we asked for full police reports, all call logs etc., we are not allowed any police reports, and neither is my husband for that matter. They will not provide any reports of any kind to him. How are you to build your case if you are not allowed to have the police reports? Then I asked the public defender to make sure he got the cloths the officer was wearing the night it all happened, he says it's not important???
I asked for all video and audio of all police cruisers and police officer's within a 25 foot radius. The public defender is adamant that no police cruiser in California has any video or audio.
My husband is waiting to go to surgery for the fourth time since his arrest.
The officer and the jail he is in, wvbc Rancho Cucamunga waited a very long time to get him in to see a doctor. Basically took his right’s and thru it out the window. He’s had to have reconstruction to the right side of his face with a prosthetic cheek bone, correct his jaw bone and pallet of his mouth which somehow separated in half. They have had to do eye surgery on his iris and retina because the punch tore his eye, they had to remove two more teeth because the punch not only took out the front teeth but pushed his teeth back to where it cracked other teeth bad enough to remove. He is waiting now for another surgery on his neck because when the guy punched him his head went back like whiplash and pushed together the bones in between the vertebrae imbedded in the spinal cord. The man who hit Joe on the stand said,” Joe had started it all by using racist slurs and that he chest bumped him, that’s why he hit him in the first place.

We are waiting for the pre-trial now. We hope to win this case even though we seem to be surrounded with incompetent fools who supposedly are there to help you, officers, medics and public defenders alike.
I am writing this to you in hopes you might see the injustice here. Ever since Rodney King got beat up, there was a big issue about it. Everybody was on it like white on rice, seems now the police are afraid to deal with anything that involves the black and the white.
Police officer’s,

(some of them, just don’t give a crap) they can do to you what ever they like and not be held accountable for it. Same goes for the public defender. They will do only the minimum for their client then want you to lie about the truth by trying to get you to plea to a lesser crime. So to impress the DA or anybody else that might have to do with promotion for themselves . If you don’t have money…Your pretty much dead in the water…Because,
“THERE IS NO JUSTICE FOR THOSE WITH OUT MONEY”
Right to Personal Security

A. Importance of the right to personal security
174. Poor people usually suffer from various forms of insecurity. As well as experiencing financial, economic and social insecurity, they are often homeless, marginalized, discriminated against and subject to physical violence by State and non-State actors. Accordingly, efforts to strengthen the right of poor people to personal security shall have a crucial place in poverty reduction strategies.
B. The scope of the right to personal security
175. The right to personal security is a human right independent of the right to personal liberty. If individuals or groups are subject to death threats, violent attacks, harassment, intimidation or severe discriminatory treatment, States have a positive obligation to provide a minimum standard of protection for their life, integrity and personal security.
1. Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest or detention. No one shall be deprived of his liberty except on such grounds and in accordance with such procedure as are established by law."

My husband is living proof…

May god have mercy on our souls

by Joseph F Barber
A nationally known advertising man wrote me the other day ... to suggest that we tell the truth, i.e., that we are not concerned with the affairs of the British Empire but are concerned with our own safety ... the integrity of our own continent, and the lives of our own children in the next generation. That, I think, is a pretty good line to take because it happens to be true, and it is on that line itself that we must, for ... purely selfish reasons, prevent at almost any hazard the Axis domination of the world.
No democracy can long survive which does not accept as fundamental to its very existence the recognition of the rights of minorities.
The moment a mere numerical superiority by either states or voters in this country proceeds to ignore the needs and desires of the minority, and for their own selfish purpose or advancement, hamper or oppress that minority, or debar them in any way from equal privileges and equal rights—that moment will mark the failure of our constitutional system.
What worries me, especially, is that public opinion over here is patting itself on the back every morning and thanking God for the Atlantic Ocean (and the Pacific Ocean). We greatly underestimate the serious implications to our own future.... Things move with such terrific speed these days, that it is really essential to us to think in broader terms and, in effect, to warn the American people that they, too, should think of possible ultimate results in Europe and the Far East.
Sometimes the best way to keep peace in the family is to keep the members of the family apart for awhile.
There is no question but that you and I think alike in the great objectives of the peace when it comes. The real problem lies in the methods to be used to attain peace without hate.... [I]t is my thought that time is an essential in disseminating the ideals of peace among the very diverse nationalities and national egos of a vast number of separate peoples who, for one reason or another over a thousand years, have divided themselves into a hundred different forms of hate.... Therefore, I have been visualizing a superimposed—or if you like it, a superassumed—obligation by Russia, China, Britain and ourselves that we will act as sheriffs for the maintenance of order during the transition period. So it has come to pass a new world order or what ever it is you choose to call it.
our world has changed and is changeing and it will be our children left with the Issue that will haunt them for a generation and then some.

The "cult" of Islam.

The "cult" of Islam.

by Joseph F Barber on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 10:47pm
Joseph/FREEDOM OR ANARCHY,Campaign of Conscience has given you numerous examples on this website as to the true nature of the sickening BRUTALITY and VIOLENT nature of the "cult" of Islam. Hopefully, you will have noticed that none of these examples are ISOLATED INSTANCES nor are they CONFINED to a particular Muslim controlled country.
Everywhere you find the "Religion" of the "False Prophet" Muhammad you will find some form of Muslim DEPRAVITY or other. For example, recently In the US, Muslim Muzzammil Hassan a TV executive BEHEADED his wife Aasiya in his N.Y, TV Studio. There have also been a number of honour killings of young girls in the US and Canada over the last year.
Likewise in Europe, we regularly hear of the GANG RAPE of Muslim women as HONOR- PUNISHMENTS, BRUTAL BEATINGS, MUTILATION AND HONOR KILLINGS. There have even been reports of BEHEADINGS in Ireland which has a national population of less than 5 million people with a tiny minority of Muslims,
All over Europe there are young Muslims rioting in the streets and calling for the BEHEADING OF ANYONE WHO DARES OPPOSE ISLAM, Murdered movie maker THEO VAN GOGH in the Netherlands is but one example. And yet even MORE horrifying was the SLAUGHTER Of 100 INNOCENT CHILDREN , WOMEN AND MEN AROUND THE WORLD OVER A FEW TOTALLY INOFFENSIVE CARTOONS OF MUHAMMAD BY A DANISH CARTOON ARTIST.
We have Muslim no-go areas, where Sharia Law is practiced and the law of the land ignored and the list goes on-and-on. AND THIS TREND IS SET TO CONTINUE AND GROW as more and more younger Muslim thugs turn to Radical Islamic groups whose sole INTENT is to cause as much civil unrest as possible in their host countries.
In conclusion, all the examples we have given you are both factual and verifiable and not scare-mongering on our part. Thus, we pose this question to [YOU]. NOW THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE FACTS, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO HALT THE INSIDIOUS GROWTH OF ISLAM IN YOUR COUNTRY????The world is Watching

US and the War on Medical Marijuana

US and the War on Medical Marijuana

Eleven years ago, California voters passed Prop 215, the Compassionate Use Act, permitting the use of marijuana to treat medical conditions. But state and local officials are still collaborating with federal law enforcement in a war on medical marijuana. And yet the feds will not give the weak or ill the right to choose the form of treatment that they find as and alternative to Pharmacuticles or lower cost.the federal Goverment by all rights is a Dictator in every sense of the word ,it will alow the leaders of comunities to set in place laws to govern .protect, and assist it peoples and then use it power to say no you do not have a right to choose you have a right to do as you are told or face prosecution this is opression and is a violation of all peoples rights
This is a good example of your right to choose being denied because of the Hipocracy of a goverment with out compassion for it,s own people or hearing there words and exepting what the citisens voted for in to law for there state, alternative medicines is everyones right.

Marijuana or Cannabis an Excellent Alternative Medicine
Cannabis indica, cannabis sativa, cannabis americanus, Indian hemp and marijuana (or marihuana) all refer to the same plant. Cannabis is used throughout the world for diverse purposes and has a long history characterized by usefulness, euphoria or evil depending on one’s point of view. Medical professionals in the western world have forgotten almost all they once knew about the therapeutic properties of marijuana, or cannabis.
Analgesia, anti-convulsant action, appetite stimulation, ataraxia, antibiotic properties and low toxicity have been described throughout medical literature. For the most part the therapeutic aspects of cannabis remain to be re-explored under modern clinical conditions. In fact, from 1839 to its removal from availability to physicians in 1937 at least 12 separate therapeutic uses for cannabis were described:
analgesic-hypnotic
appetite stimulant
gastrointestinal sedative
anti-epileptic
anti-spasmodic
prophylactic and treatment of the neuralgias, including migraine and tic douloreuz
anti-depressant
tranquilizer
anti-asthmatic
oxytocic
anti-tussive
topical anesthetic
withdrawal agent for opiate and alcohol addiction
childbirth analgesic
antibiotic
Meanwhile, cannabis continues to be denied to sufferers by the government, despite efficacious preliminary results and entreaties of numerous patients to unresponsive government agencies rationalizing their intransigence by a "we can’t be too careful" stance.
Physicians and patients in increasing numbers continue to relearn through personal experience the lessons of the 19th century. Many people know that marihuana is now being used illegally for the nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, and many other medical ailments.
Some know that it lowers intraocular pressure in glaucoma. Patients have found it useful as an anticonvulsant, as a muscle relaxant in spastic disorders, and as an appetite stimulant in the wasting syndrome of human immunodeficiency virus infection. It is also being used to relieve phantom limb pain, menstrual cramps, and other types of chronic pain, including migraines.
One of marihuana's greatest advantages as a medicine is its remarkable safety. It has little effect on major physiological functions. There is no known case of a lethal overdose.
On the basis of animal models, the ratio of lethal to effective dose is estimated as 40,000 to 1! By comparison, the ratio is between 3 and 50 to 1 for secobarbital, and between 4 and 10 to 1 for ethanol.
Marihuana is also far less addictive and far less subject to abuse than many drugs now used as muscle relaxants, hypnotics, and analgesics. The chief legitimate concern is the effect of smoking on the lungs. Cannabis smoke carries more tars and other particulate matter than tobacco smoke. But the amount smoked is much less, especially in medical use, and once marihuana is an openly recognized medicine, solutions may be found such as vaporization, tinctures, extracts and oils.
At present, the greatest danger in medical use of marihuana is its illegality, which imposes much anxiety and expense on suffering people, forces them to bargain with illicit drug dealers, and exposes them to the threat of criminal prosecution.
Further, polls and voter referenda have repeatedly indicated that the vast majority of North-Americans think marihuana should be medically available to the public and even decriminalized or legalized for simple possession.
Most physicians seem to take little active interest in the subject of marijuana as medicine, and their silence is often cited by those who are determined that marihuana shall remain a forbidden medicine.
Meanwhile, many physicians pretend to ignore the fact that their patients with cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, asthma or migraines are smoking marihuana for relief; some quietly encourage their patients yet fearing retribution from medical associations or their peers.
In a 1990 survey, 44% of oncologists said they had suggested that a patient smoke marihuana for relief of the nausea induced by chemotherapy. If marihuana were actually unsafe for use even under medical supervision, as its Schedule I status explicitly affirms, this recommendation would be unthinkable. It is time for physicians to acknowledge more openly that the present classification is scientifically, legally, and morally wrong.
Marijuana or cannabis will continue to be used effectively as medicine for a wide range of medical problems. The government and medical community need to recognize that all patients have a right to use a completely natural medicinal plant that helps their specific medical condition, and make it readily available for public medical use.
More reasonable laws and regulations controlling drug research are required to permit significant medical inquiry to begin so that we can fill the large gaps in our knowledge of cannabis.
Medicine, being an empirical art, has not hesitated in the past to utilize a substance first used for recreational purposes for the pursuit of the more noble purposes of healing, relieving pain and teaching us more of the workings of the human mind and body

Full Constitutional Protection for Some, but No Privacy for the Poor

Full Constitutional Protection for Some, but No Privacy for the Poor

In San Diego, poor people who want public benefits must give up their privacy. Investigators from the district attorney's office there make unannounced visits to the homes of people applying for welfare, poking around in garbage cans, medicine chests and laundry baskets.
Applicants are not required to let the investigators in. But they get no money if they refuse.
Lawyers who have sued on behalf of the applicants say that being poor should not mean having to give up the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable government searches. So far, the courts have disagreed, saying that rooting out welfare fraud justifies the searches, but not without drawing some fierce dissents.
"This situation is shameful," seven dissenting judges wrote when the full federal appeals court in San Francisco refused to rehear the case a few months ago. "This case is nothing less than an attack on the poor."
Luis Aragon, a deputy district attorney in San Diego, said the county had struck a sensible balance.
"Whenever one goes into a home," Mr. Aragon said, "of course you have to be concerned. The dilemma San Diego faced was, either you say yes to everybody or you have some verification.
"As for intrusiveness," he continued, "you probably went to college. You probably said you were a pretty good student. And they said, 'Yeah, but we want to see a transcript.' Doesn't the government have the right to some level of verification?"
I don't recall any admissions officers going through my sock drawer, but it was a long time ago and I was a distracted teenager.
The main problem, Mr. Aragon said, is the "alleged absent parent." Applicants sometimes claim to be single mothers when there is a man around the house, and investigators are on the lookout for that man.
"They're looking for boxer shorts in a drawer," said Jordan C. Budd, a law professor who represented the plaintiffs when he was legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union in San Diego. "They're looking for medicine in a man's name."
But the investigators do not limit their inquiries to potential welfare fraud. If they come across evidence of other crimes, like drug use or child abuse, they pass it along to the police and prosecutors.
The program apparently did reduce welfare fraud, or at least save money. According to the county's statistics, the denial rate for welfare applications rose to 48 percent from 41 percent over five years, and there was 4 to 5 percent increase in withdrawn applications.
The San Diego program is the most aggressive one in California and perhaps in the nation, but the recent decisions have probably given governments around the country all kinds of ideas. An earlier home-visit program, instituted in New York in 1995 by Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, was largely dismantled as part of the settlement of a lawsuit in 1997.
Lawyers for the plaintiffs in San Diego said the money the county saved was not worth the price in privacy and dignity.
"The poor are presumed guilty, presumed lazy and presumed to be trying to gain something they don't deserve," said Professor Budd, who now teaches at the Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, N.H. "It's a general poverty exception to the Fourth Amendment."
The majority in a divided three-judge panel decision last year upholding the program made two basic points. The first was that people are free to opt out - by giving up their welfare benefits.
The dissenting judge called that a false choice for an applicant desperate to feed her children.
The majority also relied on a 1971 Supreme Court decision, Wyman v. James, which upheld a New York program involving scheduled visits from social workers, not surprise searches by investigators from a prosecutor's office. The Supreme Court said the main purpose of the New York visits was "rehabilitation."
At his deposition in the case, Mr. Aragon said his office's investigators were not in the rehabilitation business.
"I'm trying to imagine what rehabilitation would be," he testified. "Get off the couch. Get a job. I don't know."
The plaintiffs have until next month to decide whether to ask the Supreme Court to hear their case. They say they have not made a final decision, which is a little surprising given the importance of the issue and the volume and vehemence of the dissents. But they may have reason to fear what the current Supreme Court would say.
One of the dissenting judges, Harry Pregerson, writing for himself and six colleagues in April, suggested one sort of argument that might be promising. He said there was a double standard at work.
"The government does not search through the closets and medicine cabinets of farmers receiving subsidies," Judge Pregerson wrote. "They do not dig through the laundry baskets and garbage pails of real estate developers or radio broadcasters."
Only the poor, he said, must "give up their rights of privacy in exchange for essential public assistance."
