Very astute assessment Mr. Hodges. You are right that it will all begin in Syria….what you have missed though, is it will all begin due to a certain “missing” plane begin used as the trigger via a false flag- in order to get the people on board with the attack. Then, The Word of God says the “false savior” will come to bring peace…..Shortly after that HUGE lie and short time of peace, all hell will break loose.
Prepare accordingly. Jesus Christ is the ONLY name in heaven or on earth that will save you through the end of this. ALL who call out to Him will be saved.

Hello Dave, my friend for freedom. Great job again telling the truth my friend. I agree with you 100 percent on this article. Like I wrote before (and for some reason you did not receive), we will save the petrodollar in the Ukraine. Iran must go to save what’s left of it. This is why I feel they are waiting on Israel to take out Iran, then we enter Syria on some false pretense. Then the words we do not need to hear will be declared by O Mama, yep martial law, and that’s when your F.E.M.A. camps, RFID program will begin. Enter, the civil war. And the good news is, we probably don’t have long too wait. God Bless AMERICA!

love your analysis. certainly hope you are wrong, though. I think we may have more time before Russia/China attacks US, likely next year. I believe in preparing, but not sure there is much that can be done against an invasion. any attack on Alaska would have to be in conjunction with one on the mainland to neutralize counter attack. interestingly enough, hundreds of senior military officers will be forced into retirement this summer. waiting till next year for o to finish emasculating the military would make sense.

Wow! Never thought I would live long enough to see this coming. Always figured it would be down the line maybe 50 years from now. I don’t even think we have 7 years left. If according to what another man is saying on the radio, if Israel gets the peace treaty or plan or whatever they call it on April 29th, this will be the sign that we have entered the last 7 years of the world as we know it right before Armageddon. They will be 7 years of tribulation like we have never seen, actually like the world has never seen. We might only have a month to get ready.

Dave,
All wars are economic. Any other reason (given) is just deception for the sheeple.
We, using a “proxy army”(paid thugs…mercenaries) attacked Syria, a beautiful, modern and peaceful nation, destroying much of it in the process.
Our political class then decided to invade.
Our “professional officers” from lieutenants to Generals and Admirals refused to participate in that unlawful, unjustifiable, immoral act. (over 200 command staff officers, and an unknown number of lower ranking officers, paid for their honorable acts with the termination of their military careers).
Russian threats were a “side issue” of little actual consequence.
Russia offered Ukraine a “better” economic deal than the EU.
The Lawfully Elected (though certainly corrupt) govt. of Ukraine accepted the Russian “Deal”.
The EU and the US sent in a “proxy army” of paid thugs and agitators, followed (apparently) with armed snipers to execute “regime change”.
We CAUSED these problems, and our POLITICAL CLOWNS are trying to place the blame on others.
I am uncertain whether they (the clowns) are actually that inept, or if they want the total destruction of our country.

The G20 meets in two weeks ,I believe, so why not wait (Russia) till then and repudiate the dollar. Russia and China announces to the world the dollar is toast and you will be using some other form of currency and cut the legs out from under US. Then I think there will be a false flag attack to finger Syria to give reason to attack it. Russia will know this is a ruse to overthrow Assad and get into Iran via Syria.

Mr. Hodges,
I have just discovered your website and thoroughly concur will your line of thinking, concepts and possible scenarios/strategies within your daily articles! Bravo sir – well done!
I am curious – have you uncovered proof that Russia will attack AK if/when the USA attacks Syria? I often hear that there are Russian troops already in AK but can never find the proof.
Thank you for spreading the truth!

Prophecy and reality are colliding. One must see what Dan.11 and Ezek.38 have prophesied, and then relate it to now. WWIII is emerging now. As Gerald Celente says, first currency wars (Libya and now Iran trading oil for gold and avoiding our petro dollar has our back against the wall—with a global currency realignment SOON. So, who are the players in the western portion of WWIII? Russia vs. NATO in the north, with Russia/Putin the end times “king of the North” in Dan.11, and per Ezek.38 he is now moving to incorporate Gomer/E. Europe including Germany. Why Germany? Because, after the Seleucid vs. Ptolomy conflicts prophesied of up to vs.17, in 18 it transitions to prophecy of the current era. Then, the first king of the north is Hitler, and he invades to the Isles/coastlands of W. Europe, which brings the Allied response by a “commander”/Ike who drives him back to his own fortresses/Berlin, where he “will fall and be found no more” (vs.19 NAS).Then vs.20 moves to where a divided Germany was under the Russian oppressor, which in 1989 fell, and the NAS vs.20 prophesied of this oppressor, “he will be shattered, though neither in anger nor in battle”. How’s that for a 2500 year old prophecy In our face.
Then what? This is coming soon—-in Germany, the final “king of the North”, ” he will come in a time of tranquility, and seize the kingdom by intrigue”. The Ezek.38 Gog and Magog leaders of Russia, I anticipate fulfilling this with promises of energy (or a cutoff) and a financial alliance, after the US Fed couldn’t even return their gold we held.
What about the Mideast players in WWIII? Turkey including bordering lands (Togarmah in Ezek.38) is currently lined up against Syria, and per Isa.17 Damascus will be destroyed. Israel and Iran are lined up for a nasty confrontation, and post this conflict will come the Dan.9:27 phony peace covenant, framing out the final 7 years to end this age. If you follow Dan.11 the Russian king of the north will have 3 subsequent assaults vs. Israel and her allies, the Emirates, W. Europe and Western power allies (Tarshish and her cubs) are the king of the south. So—-let’s watch the veracity of the bible play out.

Dave, — thanks for another well written and very insightful piece.
The fuse is lit, the end game in the global chess match is being calculated by the world players …. seen and unseen. The seen players are named in your article. The real master player for global power is the …. unseen one — the spirit who makes fools of the worldly power hungry deceived pawns, who’s end, and end’s, are certain. …. The Capital of Syria is Damascus. …Bible prophecy has been proved to be 100% accurate in the past, .. Reads in Isaiah 17:1, …. “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” …. Keep your eye on Damascus! ……Then how Russia will respond!
The fuse is lit …….. we just don’t know how long the fuse is!
The wise, …. are those who have NOT placed their hope for the future in the hand’s of sinful men, but in the hand’s of the One who can not lie, the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who will give eternal life to anyone who will humble themselves enough, to ask Him for that absolutely free gift.
If anyone want’s to see how check-mate happens ….. Read for yourself , …… Psalms 2

The great war for control of planet earth, while planned back in the 18th century, had it’s live genesis in 1916. This great war for control of planet earth has continued ever since with time outs between conflicts. One must read the Protocols of Zion, the writings of high degree masons and the writings of patriotic-nationalists to understand just who are those who plan to have world hegemony. It should be no secret to anyone who has read the old testament without blinders who are those who were promised by their God to have ultimate world control. This great war may soon enter the third and finial phase, named WW3.
This finial phase of the great war is for all the marbles. A nationalistic Russia, under Putin, are gathering their forces and allies. the East, under pressure from the bitches from Basal and their central banksters who have control of the “West”. This final conflict of the ages will be the East vs. the West with allies of each scattered around in each sphere of influence. If this final conflict goes nuclear it’s a lose, lose situation for everyone. If the final conflict remains conventional the two sides will settle into an Orwellian stalemate with both sides using the other as an excuse for an world that would make even Orwell blush. In the later case, the question is, will human beings ever be able to someday breath the air of a free society.

But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. Then shall two man be in the field; one is taken, and one is left: two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left. Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through. Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:36-44 ASV)

“Some believe that Russia wants to occupy the United States and perhaps Putin eventually does, but it is not practical at this particular point of time. Economic attrition and military isolation are Putin’s best friends at this time. After all, the US is in possession of over 2,000 nuclear weapons and 72 nuclear armed submarines which are virtually undetectable. Despite the presence of these American deterrents, do not be lulled into a false sense of security, this cold war will soon turn hot.”
Was it the end of this year or 2015 that Russia’s bunker system capable of protecting most of Russia’s population from a nuclear strike or so was set to be completed? Either way, I wouldn’t bank on Russia declining conflict to enabling the world’s reserve currency status from placing Russia at an immediate disadvantage in a Cold War setting. Putin is ex-KGB, and I doubt that he missed any economic war benefits the world’s reserve currency; provided, the Dollar doesn’t lose the status or nations drop it like dominos.
I seem to recall Alaska being a major geographic region for an invasion from the west, Florida and around New Orleans from the southeast, and New York from the east.
“According to the theory, the common denominator for world conflict has been reduced to sea powers vs. land-based powers which would subsequently struggle for dominance of the world, and the ultimate victor would be in a position to set up a world empire. The determining factor in this struggle was physical geography; “Man and not nature initiates, but nature in large measure controls”.” (qtd)
Geographical Choke-points certainly plays a major role in economies, commerce, and military resource and asset allocation.

Some where along the line, Israel will invade and occupy both Syria and Egypt because that is what is written in the scriptures, in the end times, and it must happen. What senerio could cause that, well how about chemical weapons being launched at Israel from those two places. Damascus will be destroyed according to the scriptures. Look for the attack to originate from there.

Either way the world will locked in another World War, however, the outcome will be total obliteration of the planet. The release of tactical nukes might initially be used however, it will eventually lead to the use of intercontinental nukes. When a country feels threatened that they may be vanquished it will be game over, countries will let their missiles fly. At that point in time billions of people will be wiped out in a matter of minutes. In the end no one wins. During my 20 years in the USAF I along with hundreds of SAC Aircrews sat alert waiting for the word to launch. Fortunately we never had to to launch our weapons. However, this time who knows? We have madmen and spineless wimps in charge. Time to get your life in order. The end.
Good luck and good night…

Putin the pawn a few days ago. Are they really plotting against one another, or is there a master plan by the council of 13 they all following. I don’t know for sure. But it seems they all just following the plan. Putin must keep his people unified, so they give him all the tools for it. Meanwhile, Obamma destroying the values and economy of the US. US shipped all the industry to china; now china saying we have no industry to back up the dollar. It seems they giving the leaders what they need to keep their citizens on plan. It seems it is the grand plan they all following towards the NWO. They can use many false flags to start the war. Attacking alaska in insanity in a sane world. I could think up thousands of other insane things they could do. America’s options? Is this to postulate we got people in Washington working for the people in America? Or is this the american nwo vs the soviet nwo. Pick one; like the demo vs republican. We left with no side to root.

Obama is out classed by Putin when it comes to military strategy. Putin is careful to speak and when he does he backs up what he says whereas Obama bluffs. Our hawks sometimes think in unrealistic terms they have suggested nuking Russia preemptively because they believe they can win. The insanity of this is that no one wins a nuclear war. China, Russia and Iran don’t like the US control with the Petrodollar and they are determined to make changes that benefit them.. It is not too difficult to see these changes coming. We spent massive amounts of money like a drunken sailor on the contrived “War On Terror”and now we are broke. It is incredible how recklessly we behaved without any foresight. Like a chess game, now it is China and Russia’s turn to make their move.

Hi Dave: Ports in Alaska being vital – sorry but better access is already available to then just north of Estonia. Land they already posses. If they want more open ports taking over Estonia or Latvia or possibly Finland would be much easier. As for warm water ports they are already secured in Crimea.
Syria is only a player because of Middle East access. With Iran in their back pocket they can move shipping there. The reason why Syria is so important is because of the threat Israel is to Russia. With the discovery of the leviathan gas fields Israel will soon become a major exporter of gas to Europe. Why do you think the Israelis are talking with Greek Cyrus to build a liquid NG production plant? Because NG refined in Cyprus will be shipped to Greece and from there to Europe by pipeline. Russia can’t let this happen or they will loose their strangle hold on Europe.
Regarding the Far East they already have access to the Sea of Japan and do not need further ports in China.
You are correct on the the coming of WW III but it’s not because Russia is land locked.

Thank you Dave for accurately assessing the current geopolitical situation. I may be lambasted for even hinting at this, but I maintain we are closer to the igniting of a global nuclear conflagration than we were during the Cuban missile crises. There are far more players, weapons and resentments being positioned on the field today than there were in 1963 and the world is a much less politically and economically stable environment. That should scare the hell out of even the most vociferous optimist. These so caled “people”, these bankers and politicians, regardless of whichever language they speak, are all functionally insane and have no foresight other than the acquisition of resources and empire building. If the devil has a team of campaign managers its the corporati-fascist oligarchs and plutocrats. They are bent on turning this panet into a cold dead nuclear wasteland. The consequences of their greed, their averice and lust for power will be the eradication of the human species.

Somewhat off topic. I really hope that all take what you write serious because it is. Martial law training for sure is in progress. Stock up or die. A false flag event is going to occur they are just trying to figure what will have the most shock and impact for the sheep to give up all for. Ya see 370 will not be found and if one pops up it will be a lie. The gov uses civilian craft to experiment. 370 had stuff on it if you know what i mean, and when it hit a certain altitude it disenigrated. the deal is to make sure pieces can’t be found and if some can again they try. Not the first time done. 370 no longer exists. Reiterate there will be a false flag just looking for the most shock. and impact. There is fear in their eyes as were told and written leakers will “die”, like my last one did. Found a small needle mark on the neck but listed as natural causes. Will go unnoticed by all was not high profile enough except to me and a few others. They are going to do away with diesels in the trains within five years and install batteries and use a suzuki motors to charge them when idle. The idea is to make the trains quieter when the do their deeds. Everything is loaded and unloaded at the base, when I say everything I mean everything. You might ask what is everything just name it and that will be correct. they been directed not to communicate even amongst themselves when riding together. We are dealing with psycho psychotic nutbag psychopaths. don’t post am protecting someone. written for what it may be worth.

The True Sign. – March 29
How many believed on My Name after seeing the signs which I did?
Not for the signs, not for the water made wine, not for My miracles, will My true follower believe Me.
No, for something deeper, seen only with the eyes of faith, realized only by a heart of love responding to My Heart of Love. Not of these must it be said, “I do not trust Myself unto them,” as I said of those who saw My signs.
I must trust Myself and My Cause to My followers who see Me with eyes of faith. How else can I be loved and known?
They will meet Me, the outcast Saviour, when I am performing no mighty deeds, wandering unheeded and unacclaimed through dark and lonely ways, and they will pause, all other pursuit forgotten, and will yet turn and follow Me.
Follow because of some chord in them responsive to the yearning of My Heart for Man, who has shut Me out. Follow, too, because of that in Me which is responsive to the cry of man’s hungering soul.

I don’t understand why you think that Russia would invade the Ukraine. Why would Russia give the USA the pretext to retaliate? Putin is far too smart for that. The soon to be imposed IMF austerity measures by the illegitimate government in the Ukraine will soon drive the impoverished people of the Ukraine back under Russian influence. Secondly, Europe can’t afford to isolate Russia. Europe needs Russian oil and gas so Europe will have to maintain economic relations with Russia. If the west tries any more funny business in the Ukraine, Russia just turns off the gas. The US does not have the capacity to supply Europe with shale gas. Plunging underground natural gas supplies and flat-lining shale gas production suggest that the US never will. Qatar can’t supply Europe either as Russia has Assad’s back in Syria to block any pipelines into Europe.
Finally, you have understated the relationship of Russia and China, who through the Shanghai Co-Operative Organisation have established close economic and military ties. They participated in joint military exercises last year in the Urals. Apart from other Shanghai Co-Operative Organisation members Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgistan, countries interested in joining include Iran, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. This forming Eurasian trade zone and RPEC (The Regional Comprehensive Econimic Partnership) which includes 10 ASEAN nations plus China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand means that the US will soon become economically isolated. It also means that the US dollars days as global reserve currency are numbered.
Russia just needs to sit and wait but for the USA, time is running out.

Dear Dave,
Your attitude seems to be changing with WWIII breathing down our necks, thanks to the Obama Puppet and his loose mouth – what exactly would you expect Russia to do? Obama could still come to his senses, if he has any, and amend some of his lies – but he is in so deep now, it is not to be expected. The news media has already got the West well indoctrinated with a wide variety of lies.
Its our criminal government that Americans need to be warned about, not Russia. Our most urgent problem is to delay any war, not encourage one.
All Obama is waiting for is the day Congress declares war. Any war. Obama can’t declare Martial Law on America officially until Congress has declared war. This also makes enforcing the Noahide laws that will be legal, at last.
WWIII with Russia and maybe China would be very hard to fight if we are already either locked up in a prison camps or already dead.
Obama does intend to enforce Martial Law in America. Stopping him is more urgent than getting ready for WWIII at this time. Getting rid of the Obama regime is Americas top priority.
EDITOR’S NOTE: THE ONLY CONSTANT IS THAT OBAMA IS DEDICATED TO THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR COUNTRY AS WE KNOW IT. HIS REMOVAL FROM OFFICE THROUGH THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS SHOULD BE OUR TOP PRIORITY.
WE ARE ON A RIDE IN WHICH WE HAVE NO CONTROL WHERE IT STOPS, AS LONG AS OBAMA IS IN CHARGE

Obama is a traitor to the USA and the world. He, as a Communist, with the same types in the EU and Bastages from Basil set up the Ukrainian crisis for this end so Putin to make such moves. I wonder if a deal has been cut? That is Russia gets Ukraine and maybe a lot of Eastern Europe while they get Syria and maybe Iran? Russia would likely want a lot of its old empire back and with their petroleum, would hold the rest of Europe hostage…..without a shot being fired. Maybe just give Russia Alaska as well? Where does China fit in if there was any such trade off deal made….would China get part of Alaska for its oil, coal and timber or at least a concession to exploit the same? Obama and predecessors have not taken us down the toilet. We are beyond that and into the sewer pipes.
Furthermore, Obama is a Muslim, so a trade off in getting Iran and Syria, the Caliphate could be set up!!! Maybe his next job being to run that as the Caliph…and Hitlery as the next President. When will the nightmare be over? Only when Jesus Returns. the sooner the better. Keep looking up people.
Dave I’m confused,if this war is to be fought over the petrodollar, then why would Obama want to weaken our military forces, I think Obama and his cronies want this country completely destroyed, or it could be a master plan to incorporate us into some new world disorder. Either way there’s going to be lots of suffering.
EDITOR’S NOTE: THIS BEGS THE QUESTION I RAISED IN THE ARTICLE, WHO IS OBAMA REALLY PLAYING FOR?
Yep. Let’s all line up behind General Custer and ride into the Little Big Horn. Sounds like a good idea to me!
Sure is quiet over there right now. Seems like nothing specific on
the horizon to precipitate a large violent crisis. Feels like the world
go on in this state for years.
The longer Putin waits, the more defenses are set up against him.
If Putin were to make a move, he seems like the type that would wait
for some provoking incident. My forward looking vision can’t see
anything. But what do I know, I’m just another US citizen blinded
by my media.
Looking forward it seems a great mystery. But then, isn’t that
representative of the best in the art of war per Sun Tzu?
Or are we missing something getting started somewhere else?
This is all so pathetic, I’m not sure if I should laugh or cry. The U.S. military is spread out over most of the planet, fulfilling their role as the righteous policeman of the world. After all they are the indespensible, exceptional people! And most of the population drank the poison cool aid. In all their military midadventures, the U.S. military cannot gain a clear victory over any country except that powerhouse, Granada. They are really good at killing a lot of people and destroying countries but victory? None. Those in the military are just theatrical pawns only to be discarded. Henry Kissinger said as much. So, the U.S. like the phoenix must be destroyed, by design, so it can rise up out of the ashes to lead the NWO.
If only people had listened to the warning given so long ago not to get involved in international entanglements! But the military industrial complex needs to be fed regardless the cost in lives lost. And the exceptional, indespensable people have obliged.
Yep, time to get out of the this country. Dave, even you with all your sources cannot imagine what is coming upon the nation. Fox reported today that the NSA is very nervous cuz they can’t track the Russian military radio transmissions. They know when I use my cell phone but they can’t hear an army on the move. I’m outta here within a week. God bless all of you. This will be my last reply. Good luck and hope you have food and water stored!

Sequestration. As I understand; there are five carriers needing refueling. All parked close together and waiting on funding to begin the multi year process of getting these five back to operational readiness.
I think the whole world is getting a little giddy over this. It grows.
Just as the fractures will occur, so too will unknown powers of resistance to evil also appear.
Un mitigated horror will turn regular people into raging mobs/raging seas very quickly.
Klack klack klack klack………the long slow pull up that first giant hill on the way to our thrilling roller coaster ride. Some have their arms up above their heads, they are ready for the down hill and they ain’t hanging on to anything. Embracing the full down hill charge. Others are hanging on tight with eyes shut just as tight as their fists around that lap bar. One way or the other all on board the train are going down that long downhill and beyond to the rib slamming turns and practically leaping off the tracks on the short fast ups and downs. Some just naturally do better than others in this environment. The great equalizer for our day is prayer. The other thing that helps is to anticipate. Know what’s coming. At least mentally prepare. That will carry you a little farther. Physically prepare. There is another step. Spiritually prepare. This may put you over the top.
This is easier said than realized, but this is no time for despair. This is a time for personal action on behalf of our selves and our families. Check frequently for the wisdom from above. Pray.
HUGE BREAKING STORY:

You the man Dave
And what is our ‘limp-wrist,’ Muslim/Marxist president doing? He’s threatening Putin with sanctions while, at the same time, trying to destroy this country and gut our military! Our fraudulent POTUS continues to purge our top military officers (about 200 at last count!)…
Obama is calling Russia a “regional” power but it is Putin who keeps calling Obama’s bluff.
Putin isn’t the least bit intimidated and Obama had better watch his step— For a “regional”
power, Russia has more than enough nuclear weapons and delivery systems to destroy the U.S.

Teddy Roosevelt was not the conservative patriot some people imagine…far from it. He was, in fact, an early “progressive.” But he said a couple of things worth thinking about, and one of them was “Speak softly and carry a big stick.”
Contrast that with the Obaminable Hussein, who is throwing away the stick and squeaking like an enraged Chihuahua.
obama was installed as a president to be used as a pawn along with afrucan americans for dirty war plans..it was never intended to be a goodwill gesture of recompensation of past slavery in america..he is smart and know the game and any smart man will evade being used in develish plans
Only people who are truly brain dead will never believe that America has been set up to be destroyed,
they are a large part of the problem because they have helped to vote Obama and others into office for their own selfish reasons. Illegal voting and illegal vote counting has also helped to bring us to our knee’s, but the ones in America that really should take a long hard look at themselves are the ones that sat back and let it all happen instead of standing up and speaking up to stop the destruction of America, people just like me who were willing to let the Liberals have their way.
We sat back starting at least 50 years ago when God was kicked out of our schools and all of our government offices, we allowed abortion to become a taxpayer right. We are just as responsible as the Liberals that initiated these changes, they kicked God of America and now He has turned His back
on America, now we will pay for it.
We have allowed almost 55 million babies to be slaughtered as a sacrifice to Satan, is it really any wonder that now God has closed His ears to our plea for help, it’s not coming now, it’s too late.
Get right with God quick because the end of all time is about to happen very soon.
Go, Vladimir! No more nickel-and-dime coups against defenseless nations. No more lies regarding motive and manipulation of events. And no more disinformation from neocon agents, who have yet to tell the truth about what happened in the Ukraine. Stay out of Russia’s backyard. Russia may further dismember the Ukraine to ensure it’s own security. Can’t you see that, Hodges. A big giveaway about who you really are, Hodges, is that you immediately support the wrong side when ITS interests are threatened. The guys Putin is in conflict with are the very NWO forces you have frequently criticised on your site. So, why aren’t you supporting him? What Putin is doing is giving a black eye to those neo-fascist aholes for staging a treacherous putsch in Kiev while Putin was busy tending to the Winter Olympics. Payback’s a b isn’t it? Of course, you should already know that Russia isn’t eyeballing Eastern Europe for a future invasion. Just how stupid and crazy are you, anyway?
EDITOR’S COMMENTS: THANKS FOR EXPOSING ME IN FRONT OF MOTHER RUSSIA AND THE WORLD! YES, I WANT A JOB TO GO TO, MONEY IN THE BANK AND WAY TO PAY MY MORTGAGE. PUTIN IS THREATENING THAT PROCESS. NO, I DO NOT SUPPORT THE FED, BUT I CERTAINLY DO NOT RESPECT THE RESURRECTION OF STALIN WHOSE RECKLESSNESS IS GOING TO PLUNGE US INTO A NUCLEAR WAR. DO YOU REALLY LIKE RADIOACTIVE VODKA?
NEWS FLASH COMMISSAR DMITRY, UKRAINE DOES NOT BELONG TO RUSSIA! HOWEVER, YOU ACCURATELY REFLECT PUTIN’S THUG MENTALITY WITH YOUR FOUL LANGUAGE THAT I HAD TO CLEAN UP. PUTIN IS NOTHING BUT A KGB/RUSSIAN MAFIA, THUG IN A LAND WHERE THEY ROUTINELY MURDER JOURNALISTS, ASSASSINATE POLITICAL OPPONENTS, DELIBERATELY STARVE UKRAINIANS UNDER PAST REGIMES, AND THEN YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO CRITICIZE US? WE CERTAINLY HAVE OUR ISSUES WITH OUR GOVERNMENT, BUT YOUR GOVERNMENT IS NOTHING TO ASPIRE TO. PUTIN DOES HAVE DESIGNS ON E. EUROPE. THERE IS A NEW INVENTION, CLICK THE HYPERTEXT LINKS, READ IT! THAT MAY INSPIRE A MORE THOUGHTFUL COMMENT NEXT TIME.
Look people, let’s get real here. Headline at Steve Quayle, “Obama to Kill Tomahawk, Hellfire Missle Programs”. Read the article and I guarantee you will throw up your lunch. If this is not one of those ” this is the last straw” moments then I don’t know what is, other than my cable tv being shut off. Traitors. They are laughing in our faces and digging our graves at the same time. One of many questions that I have, are there any Patriots left in the Military Leadership or in the so-called “opposition” Republican Party of this country? If yes, then what the hell are you waiting for? I don’t have to be enrolled into Common Core to know this action is grounds for impeachment and if not then the only next logical step is the outright physical removal of POTUS. Period. This is treason on a grand scale. He is telling you sheep, right to your faces that by 2016 America is done. Enemies, come on in because we can’t stop you no more. If the rule of law does not apply to POTUS (eg. executive orders) then it is null and void and therefore the military can walk right in and physically remove the debris from the Oval office. Can you imagine being a four-star General and some messenger from one of these traitorus legislators shows up at your office to tell you that these missle programs are going to be cancelled? This is now bordering on the ridiculous as to how much we the people have to take from these traitors. If the SHTF is gonna hit us soon then i’ll first take my chances with a pre-emptitve military coup. If that doesn’t happen then let’s get this martial law thing going so I can start shooting these s.o.b.’s. and at least feel better that I’m doing something physical to help my cause. Patriots, wake the blank up. Please. If you have the legislative, judicial or military power to do something about this rogue POTUS, then please do it now. You have our blessings.
“Wars do not just happen by circumstance. It takes planning, training, positioning of assets, the building of alliances and coordination.”
Wars are not accidents; they begin by two or more nations whose led by very ambitious and expansionist leaders. Such as Ukraine becoming pro-western would make the West wield the European balance of power.
The US-NATO is not just corralling Russo-Sino with their expansionist policies for Dollar Hegemony pretending to be the world’s policeman, promoting democracy, and humanitarian interventionism. It is expansionism.
“Just whose team is Obama on?”
The Dummies’ Club. With war-weariness setting in the US cupped with increasing polarization of supranationalism in lieu of nationalism or otherwise the desire for the US’s unifying identity and support for rights, liberties, and freedoms, and increasing limited government sentiment, the Dummies’ Club and Obama are deliberately tilting the balance of power in a manner that the Dummies’ Club has ensured would create a response through Russia and China. The purpose is pretty obvious:
1). The only way Europe survives an expansionist Putin would be to reform the European Union as a political and economic union or otherwise; their so-called United Europe in a manner critics and dissidents can be readily silenced.
2). Russia’s Eurasian Union if that occurs will also have to be adjusted to an economic and political union to counter a ‘United Europe’.
3). The US’s main counter to Russian and Chinese forces on US soil is accelerate the North American Union (Dave, you may want to look into the old waterway use of the river systems to Russian-Chinese forces in the US; there was a time barges, ferries, and other light transport boats would ship goods through much of the interior of the US that during globalization de-developed and off-shored the hubs that system used).
4). The war will certainly depopulate the anti-nationalist, big government, and etc sentiment from the equation leaving their desired solutions through the chaos, death, and destruction to go through. In essence, they’re going to use people who don’t connect captured governments are played against each other in a similar fashion as captured political parties/coalitions.
The war won’t be an accident, and today’s technology used on the field will cause chaos, mass death, and mass destruction, and this will be used to offer their solution.
All we can do is try to be ready,,,No one really cares in the high up,,We are the expendables..I try to prepare..Never enough when most the Family doesn’t and there are a few with dire medical problems who will not survive in a grid down situation..so pray and meet each new day as best you can..
It is just another ploy. This is likely a ‘distraction’ to turn our attention away from something they don’t want us to see.
Dave, The fix is in.. The last 3 weeks the news was told to broadcast nothing but missing plane and getting 24 different countries warships involved looking for plane would this have not been a great opportunity for NATO to amass troops around the region to start war in Ukraine, then invade Syria and Iran. All these warships going in and out of area would not have raised much suspicion. The Plane was a Deception for countries to get their players in place. In the end the people will lose
It is painfully obvious that the bankers own all sides to this circus. Unless we stop talking and take action shortly, we are finished.
Hello Dave, my friend for freedom. People just don’t understand the real target is Iran and Syria. Yes they would like to save the petrodollar, but they won’t save it in the Ukraine. Two ways to win a conflict is the Surprise element or over powering element what Pooty is doing now. Pooty knows he is in control, because O Mama does not have any balls except for the ones he plays with. And as for these CHICKEN Shit people who got to get out of America, who doesn’t believe America is worth standing and fighting for, get the hell out of my Country you pieces of shit! That goes for you too Ventura. I have never met a Navy Seal who runs scared. What the hell does New WORLD Order mean? Where you going to go, with the spread of our enemies building bases to our North and South and East and West? They know you are an American and they know where the hell you are!!!!! I love my country and I will fight again if and when needed. I wear no feathers! Get mad America, this is our home, and I will be damned if a foreigner is going take my home or kill my love ones. Jesus died for me once, time to show my gratitude back to my King.
God Bless
In my humble opinion the US should stay away from any foreign entanglement. If Russia wants to invade Ukraine, is not our problem. It is not in our national interest to defend each and every country in peril. Those who want the US to intervine why not send their sons and daughters and they themselves go to war? I believe those who wants send other to war are called war hawks. By the way, I want to see the time when Russia invade Alaska. That would justify a US military response. Personally, hysteria is a bad thing. I hope this time my comment wont be erase.
Sincerely,
Jose from Ahwatukee-Foothills
Sorry, not seeing it happen. I bet the globalists are terrified. They won’t do anything and 30 years from now we will be talking about this again, but I’ll be an old man with a very angry wife for prepping for all this nonsense.

Is Obama Stupid?
History hangs on questions of leadership and Obama has shown none, nor evidence of caring about the results of his failures
Is Obama Stupid?
Author
By Alan Caruba
No one gets elected President by being stupid, unless of course the election is stolen in cities controlled by the Democratic Party, but one must also factor in the intelligence of nearly half of the voters who pull the Democratic Party lever no matter who the candidate may be.
America is seriously divided between liberals and conservatives, but there are indications that even those who self-identify as liberals are having second thoughts as the result of the havoc ObamaCare has inflicted on their lives and the economy. Voters who self-identify as “independents” are the deciding factor in most elections. They reflect disenchantment with both parties.
I have been thinking about whether Obama is stupid because he has been in Europe with the leaders of the nations who are grappling with the seizure of Crimea by Russia. I keep wondering, given his record at this point, whether they too think he’s stupid. He has taken the most powerful and respected nation in the world and reduced it to ridicule and disdain. When he leaves the room do they shake their head and roll their eyes?
The question of whether Obama is stupid would seem to be disputed by the fact that he is a Harvard Law School graduate and one has to have some degree of intelligence to navigate that. His undergraduate college is Columbia University, one of the most liberal in the nation. In neither case do we know how Obama did academically because he took care to have his records kept from public review.
Indeed, most public records regarding his life, including his birth certificate have been kept hidden. The one he provided has been deemed a forgery. There are claims as well that his Social Security number is questionable.
So, one could argue that he was not stupid enough to let people know the truth. What we do know is that he is a complete stranger to the truth, uttering lies on a daily basis. That is a serious character flaw in anyone, but in a President it is a threat to the nation.
What we do know is that Obama is so devoted to a Marxist ideology that it warps his view of the world and that he has devoted his two terms in office to the “transformation” of America; another way of saying that he embraces issues, foreign and domestic, that do not reflect the history or values of the nation.
America has now twice elected a Communist to its highest office and the result has been a failure, deliberate or the result of his ideology, to lift the nation out of a recession by lowering taxes, reducing spending, and other means well known to previous presidents.
The result has had a cataclysmic effect on the lives of millions of Americans. What growth has occurred has not been due to anything the White House or Congress has done, but in spite of both.
The overthrow of tyrannical governments in the Middle East and most recently in Ukraine reflects a desire for democracy and justice in these nations. Obama sided with the Muslim Brotherhood during the Egyptian uprising. One has to wonder what the king of Saudi Arabia has to say about that. His nation and others in the Middle East have banned the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. There is no nice way of describing his action or inaction regarding the Middle East and elsewhere.
The opening of negotiations with Iran and reductions of sanctions against it simply gave it more time to pursue its intent to create its own nuclear weapons. This isn’t just stupid, it’s insane. The time wasted on securing peace from the Palestinians after decades of their open hatred of Israel is also stupid.
Obama’s failure to work closely with Congress reflects his indifference to the Constitution and, having lectured on it, it cannot be said that he is ignorant of its limits on the executive office and its division of power between the three branches of government He doesn’t seem to care much what the Constitution says. That’s stupid. The result has been a very meager legislative record and that is a good thing given his ideological inclinations.
We all know of men and women in high office or CEOs of major corporations that offer ample evidence of stupidity, but the latter can be removed by their board of directors. Americans have no options for the removal of Obama. Impeachment will not likely occur even if the GOP gains control of both houses of Congress. ObamaCare and the economy have been his greatest gift for their renewal of political power.
Obama’s “war on coal” and other efforts of his administration to keep America from tapping huge reserves of energy that would greatly improve our economy with jobs and exports is both stupidity and ideology. You have to be stupid to keep talking about “climate change” aka “global warming” when the only change of the past 17 years has been a planet that is cooling,
The danger the nation faces is real and present. The reduction of our military strength has not gone unnoticed by totalitarian and rogue regimes. Obama’s deliberate withdrawal of the nation from its position of global leadership is a threat of major proportions.
History hangs on questions of leadership and Obama has shown none, nor evidence of caring about the
results of his failures. That’s a pretty good definition of stupid.

Don’t vote stupid: A name you recognize doesn’t mean results you’ll like
Author
By Herman Cain
It’s primary voting season all over the country! Some people will vote for candidates they know. Some people will vote for candidates they don’t know. And some voters will vote for candidates because of their name or their narrative.
Some people voted for Barack Obama because they believed the “hope and change” rhetoric. Some people voted for him because they felt that it was time in our history to have a black president. Still others voted for him because they knew and approved of his liberal agenda for America. Some voted for him because they just could not vote for the Republican candidate.
To quote a famous TV commercial for Wendy’s Hamburgers years ago,“Where’s the beef?” The answer is there is none, but enough people voted for a hamburger bun with lettuce, tomato, mayo and no meat. I mean no disrespect, but this is a president and administration that lacks leadership and governance substance.
According to some polls, many people are contemplating doing the same thing again because of a candidate’s last name. Some say they will vote for Hillary Clinton because it’s “time for a woman president”, and her last name is Clinton. Nearly every well-known Democrat in Georgia has endorsed Michelle Nunn for the U.S. Senate because her last name is Nunn. She is the daughter of the well-respected former Democrat senator from Georgia, Sam Nunn, and she just happens to be leading in the polls amongst Democrats.
And Georgia State Sen. Jason Carter (grandson of former President Jimmy Carter) is running for Governor of Georgia. Wow! Isn’t that an impressive resume!
In the interest of non-partisanship in this commentary, let’s not omit Liz Cheney’s bid for the U.S. senate in Wyoming. (She is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.) She dropped out due to family health issues.
And Senator Rand Paul (son of Representative Ron Paul, who is himself a former Republican presidential candidate) is positioning himself to run for president. Clue! The Kentucky Legislature passed a resolution to allow him to run for re-election to the U.S. Senate and president simultaneously, just in case he does not get the Republican presidential nomination.
I know from personal experience that name recognition is an important element in getting elected, because many people do not pay attention to who’s running until Election Day. In fairness, they do not have time to pay attention to all the candidates, all the issues and all the political promises.
Even today when I travel and people recognize me, they immediately say “9-9-9”! Most people would say they remember me from the Republican presidential debates in 2011, and how I boldly talked about replacing the current tax code with the 9-9-9 plan. It shows that name recognition and a good idea that people can relate to represent a powerful combination.
What do you remember about the above candidates other than their last names?
Times up! That’s my point.
Party activists and candidates have got to educate people beyond name recognition, so people can make their voting decisions based on substance. Candidates with high name recognition and a shallow resume usually will produce shallow results when they are in office.
But for some reason people can’t forget “9-9-9”. I’m just saying!
Don’t vote stupid
Here we go.
Here we go.
Uh oh: Rumsfeld says ‘a trained ape’ could outperform Obama in Afghanistan
You know it wasn’t a racist comment. You also know it doesn’t matter. MSNBC has their see-what-racists-all-Obama-opponents-are talking point for the next few days.
More to the point, though, knowing Donald Rumsfeld he doesn’t care about any of that, which is one of the things I love about him. The far more important point here is the point itself - that the U.S. had a good relationship with Karzai in Afghanistan when the Bush Administration was in office. It was only when Obama and crew came in that we suddenly couldn’t work with him.
Enjoy a minute’s reminder of the refreshing and honest leadership we had not so very long ago in this country:http://youtu.be/yCmz0DSZR7Y
Obama does seem to have a blind spot when it comes to status of forces agreements. He walked away from the one we should have had with Iraq too. You don’t supposed . . . Obama doesn’t really believe in America’s role as a global leader, do you? Nah!
None of this is to suggest, by the way, that Karzai is without faults. Karzai is a player, and he will do what he thinks is in his best interests. But when Rumsfeld and the rest of the Bush team were in charge, Karzai could clearly see it was in his best interests to line up with the United States. Now? America is retreating and showing weakness on every front, and Russia is on the march.
Who’s to say it’s not more in Afghanistan’s strategic interests at this point to align with Putin? After all, it is the Russians’ turn to invade if memory serves, and clearly no one in the West has the intestinal fortitude to stop Putin from going anywhere he wants to go. Obama sure as hell doesn’t.
The point here is not to excuse Putin for anything he’s done, nor is it to excuse Karzai for siding with the bad guys.
So would a trained ape really do better? I guess it would depend how well trained

Critics on both the left and the right are lambasting President Obama for his ongoing policies restricting the freedom of the press, ostensibly in favor of national security, which in some cases amount to a vendetta against reporters who publish what leakers leak, rather than just going after what the leakers have done themselves. “The Obama administration’s unprecedented pursuit of criminal liability against security leakers threatens to rope in the Fourth Estate,” wrote Stanford’s Jennifer Granick and Morgan Weiland for Forbes. (Weiland used to work for the far-left Media Matters.) “The message? Don’t report national security stories or you will become a target.”http://www.forbes.com/sites/jennifergranick/2014/03/20/obama-press-attacks-degrade-the-first-amendment-in-the-name-of-security/
“The press does deserve contempt—but it should come from the public for dereliction of duty,” counters Investors Business Daily in a recent editorial. That’s because, they argue, the press has been largely indifferent to the inroads the administration has made against them: restricting FOIA requests and finding loopholes to deny them, scooping up the Associated Press records en masse, and ignoring how press freedoms in this country have diminished.http://news.investors.com/print/ibd-editorials/032014-694101-press-does-not-mind-abuse-by-obama.aspx
Even Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, a common accountability tactic used by journalists and citizens alike, now serve as a testament to the White House’s desire to control all messaging. Cause of Action, which describes itself as a non-partisan government accountability organization, recently released a 2009 memo by White House Counsel Greg Craig that instructs agencies to consider White House “equities” when processing FOIA requests, Government Accountability Office requests, and even judicial subpoenas. “The FOIA requires federal agencies to respond within 20 days of receiving a request, but the White House equities exception can make it impossible for an agency to meet that deadline,” reports Mark Tapscott for the Washington Examiner. Stonewalling becomes the answer to these public requests. Thus, with the normal avenues for gaining information closed off, and the secret ones penalized by the Espionage Act, the press is left to work off of one source—the Obama administration—through press releases, press conferences, and propaganda.http://causeofaction.org/assets/uploads/2013/06/White-House-memo-equities.pdf?92f52c
http://washingtonexaminer.com/most-transparent-white-house-ever-rewrote-the-foia-to-suppress-politically-sensitive-docs/article/2545824
The U.S. recently declined dramatically, falling 13 places to 46th place in terms of press freedom in the world, a sign that President Barack Obama’s pursuit of leakers is taking a toll on freedom in this country. However, the U.S. scored even lower in 2012 on the Reporters Without Borders (RWB) World Press Freedom Index, at 47th place. Liberal in bent, RWB cites the sentencing of Bradley Manning and pursuit of Edward Snowden as the main basis for their decisions, as well as the subpoena of Associated Press phone records.
http://rt.com/news/world-press-freedom-index-662/
Accuracy in Media has extensively outlined how Manning,http://www.aim.org/search/?cx=004572606133216989943%3Ao6bhvwaftm0&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=bradley+manning&sa=Search
and Snowden,http://www.aim.org/search/?cx=004572606133216989943%3Ao6bhvwaftm0&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=UTF-8&q=edward+snowden&sa=Search
have, in effect, harmed national security and should be prosecuted for their crimes. But what about the administration’s decision to go after the Associated Press’ phone records—or James Rosen of Fox News? The Obama administration’s war on journalists who print leaked national security information is ongoing, with months of journalists’ phone records subpoenaed, their movements tracked, and their emails invaded. In one case, Fox News journalist James Rosen was even named as a possible “co-conspirator”http://www.foxnews.com/politics/interactive/2013/05/20/court-documents-in-leak-case-involving-fox-news-journalist/
with leaker Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, who pleaded guilty to the charges against him.http://www.fas.org/sgp/jud/kim/plea.pdf
But some in the press have actually taken notice of the restrictive environment created by President Obama. “The Obama administration has used the Espionage Act to go after whistleblowers who leaked to journalists…more than all previous administrations combined,” remarked Jake Tapper,http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2014/jan/10/jake-tapper/cnns-tapper-obama-has-used-espionage-act-more-all-/
on January 2nd. Tapper later conceded that not all of these people should be categorized as whistleblowers, but all could be considered leakers. “Rather than pursuing journalists, the emphasis has been on going after their sources, but often using the journalist to identify them,” notes RWB.
Leonard Downie Jr., long time executive editor of The Washington Post, was the author of the Committee to Protect Journalists October 2013 report titled “The Obama Administration and the Press.” The report said that of the 11 total prosecutions of leakers by the U.S. government using the Espionage Act, eight have occurred during the Obama administration, including six government employees and two contractors, one of whom was Snowden. Downie said that “The [Obama] administration’s war on leaks and other efforts to control information are the most aggressive I’ve seen since the Nixon administration, when I was one of the editors involved in The Washington Post’s investigation of Watergate.”http://cpj.org/reports/2013/10/obama-and-the-press-us-leaks-surveillance-post-911.php
David Sanger of The New York Times said of the Obama administration, “This is the most closed, control-freak administration I’ve ever covered.” And just last week, New York Times reporter James Risen argued that the Obama administration has been “the greatest enemy of press freedom that we have encountered in at least a generation.” Risen, as reported by the website Poynter, “is fighting an order that he testify in the trial of Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer accused of leaking information to him.”http://www.poynter.org/latest-news/mediawire/244525/risen-obama-administration-is-this-generations-greatest-enemy-of-press-freedom/
He added that the administration wants to “narrow the field of national security reporting,” to “create a path for accepted reporting.” He said that any journalist “who exceeds those parameters, ‘will be punished,’” and that these prosecutions have created “a de facto Official Secrets Act.” He added that the media have been “too timid” in responding.
Are we doomed to an escalation of government intrusion upon the press? The cases of Stephen Jin-Woo Kim,http://www.fas.org/sgp/jud/kim/010714-order.pdf
and Jeffrey Sterling have important deadlines this year.http://www.fas.org/sgp/jud/sterling/
Kim’s guilty plea must be approved by a judge, and his sentencing is scheduled to take place on April 2. James Risen has been compelled by the Fourth Circuit to testify whether or not Jeffrey Sterling was a source for classified material about a botched CIA operation to undermine Iranian nuclear efforts. Risen submitted a petition to the Supreme Court claiming that this violates his “reportorial privilege,” or the ability to keep confidence between him and his sources. He faces jail time if he doesn’t out his source, or if the SCOTUS doesn’t come to his rescue.
“Years of communication records for the two men were subpoenaed and seized during the government’s investigation—and itemized in Sterling’s indictment,” wrote Downie Jr. for the CPJ report. “In hindsight, it was the first clear evidence that the Justice Department was digging into the phone and e-mail records of both government officials and journalists while investigating leaks.” So Risen and Sterling’s case was essentially the canary in the coal mine.
When James Rosen was singled out, many rallied around him on Twitter and in the media. CBS News called the surveillance of Rosen “unprecedented.” “Agents monitored Rosen’s movements in and out of the State Department” using electronic security badge records, they reported. “[Agents] searched his personal emails and combed through his cell phone records.” Bipartisan “outrage” ensued, they argue.http://www.cbsnews.com/news/fox-news-reporter-secretly-monitored-by-obama-administration-court-documents
“Although the secret subpoena was approved by Holder in May 2010, it and the records seizure did not become known until court records were unsealed three years later,” noted Downie. “Those records showed that the Justice Department went back to court repeatedly during that time for approval to avoid notifying Rosen and Fox News about the subpoena, in an apparent effort to continue to monitor Rosen’s e-mail for other contacts with government officials.”
“It amounted to open-ended government surveillance of a reporter’s communications.”
Outrage also ensued when the public learned that the Department of Justice had subpoenaed two months of Associated Press phone records for more than 20 telephone lines.http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-leak-obsession-leads-to-privacy-and-free-speech-abuses/
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/govt-obtains-wide-ap-phone-records-probe “There can be no possible justification for such an over broad collection of the telephone communications of The Associated Press and its reporters,” said AP CEO Gary Pruitt at the time.
On the AP matter, Attorney General Eric Holder claimed that he had recused himself, which he wasn’t able to document. And in the Rosen case, Holder assured Congress that he never considered criminal prosecution of journalists—using The Espionage Act—for reporting information that the government considered classified. In both cases, Holder was shown to have not been telling the truth.http://www.aim.org/aim-column/on-or-off-the-record-obama-administration-is-in-damage-control-mode/
The outrage over the ongoing Sterling case and the court’s decision to force journalist James Risen to reveal his source for a chapter in his 2006 book State of War has been more muted. His latest appeal to the Supreme Court has received very little media attention. Politico reported that the Supreme Court decision on whether or not to see the case would likely come no earlier than late February,http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2014/01/risen-lawyers-file-scotus-petition-181112.html
but that date has come and gone without a decision. Risen recently received an award from the New England First Amendment Coalition, which garnered some media attention.http://online.wsj.com/article/AP7faf42b333e8477a8189395e02201309.html
Also, there is the fact that ample evidence exists to convict Jeffrey Sterling absent Risen’s testimony. For example, according to Risen’s writ of certiori, there is testimony from a witness “that Sterling told her about his plans to meet with someone named ‘Jim,’ who had written an article about Sterling’s discrimination case and was working on a book about the CIA.”http://legaltimes.typepad.com/files/risen-cert-scotus.pdf
It further states that “The witness testified she understood ‘Jim’ to be Risen and that, when she saw State of War in a bookstore, Sterling told her, without looking at the book, that Chapter 9 was about work he had done at the CIA.” Sterling was also an on-the-record source for a March 2, 2002 article by Risen, and there is “testimony of numerous phone calls between Risen and Sterling’s home in Herndon, Virginia, in February/March 2003, immediately before Risen informed the CIA he had information about ‘Operation Merlin.’” There are also, “phone records and emails reflecting dozens of communications between Sterling and Risen.” Why, then, is Risen’s testimony necessary? Is it so that the press freedoms can be further subordinated to government requirements on free speech?
Risen was singled out by Reporters Without Borders, which invited him as a panelist to discuss their World Freedom Index at the Press Club.http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/reporters-without-borders-will-present-the-world-press-freedom-index-2014-243986381.html
“Risen and other journalists complain that the Obama administration has acted with unprecedented aggression by demanding the testimony of journalists in numerous cases, but this reflects the government’s desperation to stop leaking, not a new Orwellian agenda,” argued Professor Eric Posner for Slate in January. But does the desperation to stop leaks really excuse the White House’s aggressive behavior?http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/view_from_chicago/2014/01/james_risen_has_no_reporter_s_privilege_and_should_have_to_testify_against.html?wpisrc=burger_bar
While a balance must be struck between protecting the nation’s secrets and having a system in which legitimate whistleblowers are able to confide in reporters to expose government wrongdoing, the Obama administration has demonstrated an unparalleled tendency to keep its actions and records hidden from the American people. And that has occurred during a time that the media have done all they can to downplay or ignore a series of scandals—from Benghazi, to the IRS to Operation Fast and Furious—any one of which would likely have brought a Republican administration down.

Snowden Helped Russia Invade Ukraine
Snowden Helped Russia Invade Ukraine
A blockbuster story in the Monday Wall Street Journal reveals the terrible damage National Security Agency (NSA) leaker Edward Snowden has done, enabling Russian “war planners” to avoid detection as they evaded U.S. surveillance and staged the invasion of Ukraine.
At the same time, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), says Snowden’s theft of documents has made it harder for U.S. troops to avoid being maimed or killed by terrorist bombs known as improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
“Some U.S. military and intelligence officials say Russia’s war planners might have used knowledge about the U.S.’s usual surveillance techniques to change communication methods about the looming invasion,” the Journal said in its front page story. “U.S. officials haven’t determined how Russia hid its military plans from U.S. eavesdropping equipment that picks up digital and electronic communications.”
ABC’s “The Note” calls the Journal story a must-read,http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/03/the-notes-must-reads-for-monday-march-24-2014/
explaining that the Journal disclosed that “intelligence analysts were surprised because they hadn’t intercepted any telltale communications where Russian leaders, military commanders or soldiers discussed plans to invade.”
Strangely, however, the story never mentions Edward Snowden, the former intelligence analyst now being controlled by the Russian security agency, the FSB, in Moscow.
Clearly, however, the “knowledge” about U.S. surveillance techniques came from Snowden.
Snowden’s collaborators in the media, who revealed his stolen documents about NSA surveillance of America’s enemies and adversaries, are up for prestigious Pulitzer Prizes when these awards are announced at Columbia University on April 14. AIM has argued that such awards would constitute another black eye for the media and undermine whatever confidence the American people have left in the press.http://www.aim.org/special-report/pulitzer-prizes-for-russian-spy-stories/
In a statement to POLITICO about the possibility of Pulitzers being given to Snowden’s mouthpieces in the media, AIM asked, “Specifically, what did Snowden tell the Russian FSB about U.S. capabilities to detect and deter a Russian invasion of Ukraine, or the ability of the U.S. to determine the nature or intentions of the Putin regime?”
The answer is now in. Thanks to Snowden, the U.S. was deceived.
On Sunday’s “Meet the Press” program on NBC, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) said,http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/meet-press-transcript-march-23-2014-n59966
“We know today [of] no counterintelligence official in the United States [who] does not believe that Mr. Snowden, the NSA contractor, is not under the influence of Russian intelligence services.”
In a clear reference to Russian aggression in Ukraine, Rogers said, “He is under the influence of Russian intelligence officials today. He is actually supporting in an odd way this very activity of brazen brutality and expansionism of Russia. He needs to understand that. And I think Americans need to understand that. We need to put it in proper context.”
He added that Snowden is “clearly in Moscow, under the influence of intelligence services for a country that is expanding its borders today using military force. I think there’s a lot more questions that need to be answered here.”
The Wall Street Journal said, “America’s vaunted global surveillance is a vital tool for U.S. intelligence services, especially as an early-warning system and as a way to corroborate other evidence. In Crimea, though, U.S. intelligence officials are concluding that Russian planners might have gotten a jump on the West by evading U.S. eavesdropping.”
“Inside Crimea,” it went on, “Russian troops exercised what U.S. officials describe as extraordinary discipline in their radio and cellphone communications. Remarks that were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies revealed no hint of the plans.”
It said, “To close the information gap, U.S. spy agencies and the military are rushing to expand satellite coverage and communications-interception efforts across Russia, Ukraine and the Baltic states. U.S. officials hope the ‘surge’ in assets and analysts will improve tracking of the Russian military and tip off the U.S. to any possible intentions of Russian President Vladimir Putin before he acts on them.”
In a March 7 National Public Radio interview, Lt. Gen. Flynn of the DIA mentioned Snowden and said, “If I’m concerned about anything, I’m concerned about defense capabilities that he may have stolen from where he worked, and does that knowledge then get into the hands of our adversaries—in this case, of course, Russia.”
Asked if Snowden got access to “war plans” and the ways and means by which the U.S. gathers intelligence, Flynn said, “The answer to it is we really don’t know. From what we do know, we have to assume the worst case and then begin to make some recommendations to our leadership about how do we mitigate some of the risks that may come from—from what may have been compromised. This is going to be one of these instances where we’re going to be dealing with this for many, many years.”
Flynn went on to say that Snowden had stolen information regarding how U.S. forces are able to “defeat some of these improvised explosive devices,” which have killed and maimed thousands of U.S. soldiers. He said “We know that there’s some evidence that he [Snowden] may have gotten some information about that. And so we have to protect, you know, how we defeat these kind of devices. So we may need to change some of the way we operate.”
The implication is that Snowden’s disclosures will increase the likelihood of more “wounded warriors” from conflicts in the Middle East and around the world.
Yet, at the time Snowden began making his charges, he was hailed by such figures as radio hosts Michael Savage and Glenn Beck as a hero.http://www.aim.org/aim-column/conservative-media-personalities-embrace-traitors-charges/
Many liberals are also ardent Snowden backers, with a group called Action for a Progressive Future scheduling a Tuesday news conference in Washington to “call for a change in the U.S. government stance toward NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.” One of the participants, former CIA analyst Ray McGovern, calls Snowden a patriot.http://www.commondreams.org/newswire/2014/03/24

A New Christian Rights Campaign says Christians are facing discrimination
Despite Canada and US being recognized as global leaders on Religious Freedom
A New Christian Rights Campaign says Christians are facing discrimination
Official Launch of the Christian Positive Space Christian Rights Campaign
Toronto, Canada - The Christian Positive Space is a ground breaking campaign that encourages and identifies safe and inclusive environments for the BETFC community (Bible Believers, Evangelicals, Traditionalists, Families of Faith, and Christians), otherwise known as the Christian community.
In Canada and the United States view, freedom of religion or belief, including the ability to publicly share, express and worship in peace and security, is a universal human right. To reiterate this message, the Government of Canada officially opened the Office of Religious Freedom, within Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada on February 19, 2014. However there is a growing movement of Christians who feel marginalized and feel that the expression of their traditional opinions and values are being slowly removed from the public arena. So a movement is underway to ensure that Christians have their rights and Positive Space in the public arena.
Look for the Heart symbol sticker that will be posted in public areas, schools, governments, work offices, and media press outlets as a sign that members of the BETFC community are supported and welcomed to openly talk about their faith, practice and share their faith without discrimination, threat of being bullied or threat of being banned from the public press or media of communication.
Check out christianpositivespace.com for more information on how you can get involved and support the campaign.http://christianpositivespace.com/

The End of Science
There is nothing to cheer about the return of Cosmos. It's not science, instead it's more of the popularized punditry that distorts science into an absolute dogma with a cynical agenda
The End of Science
The reemergence of Cosmos could not have come at a better time, not because it has something to teach us about science, but because are living in Sagan’s world where real science is harder than ever to come by.
Carl Sagan was the country’s leading practitioner of the mythologization of science, transforming a process into a philosophy, substituting political agendas for inquiry and arrogance for research. Sagan was often wrong, but it didn’t matter because his errors were scientific, rather than ideological or theological. He could be wrong as many times as he wanted, as long as he wasn’t wrong politically..
Science has been thoroughly Saganized. The vast majority of research papers are wrong, their results cannot be replicated.http://healthland.time.com/2010/10/20/a-researchers-claim-90-of-medical-research-is-wrong/
The researchers writing them often don’t even understand what they’re doing wrong and don’t care.http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2010/11/lies-damned-lies-and-medical-science/308269/
Research is increasingly indistinguishable from politics. Studies are framed in ways that prove a political premise, whether it’s that the world will end without a carbon tax or that racism causes obesity. If they prove the premise, the research is useful to the progressive non-profits and politicians who always claim to have science in their corner. If it doesn’t, then it isn’t funded.
“Science” has been reduced to an absolute form of authority that is always correct. The Saganists envision science as a battle between superstition and truth, but what distinguished science from superstition was the ability to throw out wrong conclusions based on testing. Without the scientific method, science is just another philosophy where anything can be proven if you manipulate the terminology so that the target is drawn around the arrow. Add statistical games and nothing means anything.
This form of science measures itself not against the universe, but against the intellectual bubble inhabited by those who share the same worldview or those who live under their control. It’s not a bold exploration of the cosmos, but a timid repetition of cliches. The debates are as microscopic as this miniature pocket universe. Discoveries are accidental and often misinterpreted to fit within dogma. Progress is not defined not by the transcendence of what is known, but by its blinkered reaffirmation.
This isn’t science or even scientism because it has little basis in the scientific method
This isn’t science or even scientism because it has little basis in the scientific method. Like all progressive authority, it now derives its credentials from membership in an expert class and advocacy on behalf of a victim class. Global Warming research covers both quotas. On the one hand everyone ought to shut up and listen to the scientists, as long as their message conforms politically, and on the other hand everyone ought to shut up and listen to the victims of Global Warming. Connect the two and you have the basis of progressive authority. The mythologization of science isn’t new. Its chosen hero, “The Man Who Was Right When Everyone Was Wrong”, defying ignorance and superstition with the torch of knowledge is an old archetype. But the mythologization of science has outlived the rationality that once gave this figure meaning. The Men Who Are Always Right aren’t right anymore because they use the scientific method, but because they use science as a priesthood to prove the rightness of progressive policies.
In the collective language of the progressive internet, science has become an absolute. Science proves everything. “Because Science.” “15 Ways Science Shows You’re Stupid”. “How You Can Be Smarter With Science”. But this vision of science as an absolute, a post-modern abstract oracle, is less true than it ever was. Science is a state of uncertainty. Researchers discover new things by questioning what they know. A theory is another stop on a journey, not an ideological safe harbor.
The animistic spirit of science, the technocratic muse of a secular age, is superstition wrapped in a lab coat. The worship of the expert class is no more credible for PhD’s than it is for witch doctors. It’s a sure way to convince the worshiped to swap out their old risky methods for an air of omnipotence.
Science works as a process that utilizes a set of tools. It does not innately confer superiority on anyone. A scientist who does not utilize the scientific method is as much use as a carpenter who cannot make chairs or a plumber who cannot fix toilets. A science that exists as a fixed absolute, whose premises are not to be questioned, whose data is not to be examined and whose conclusions are not to be debated, is a pile of wood or a leaky toilet. Not the conclusion of a process, but its absence.
It isn’t science that gives a thing legitimacy, but the processes of thinking and testing that do. The only authority worth mentioning is also worth questioning. That is as true of science as it is of government. An authority that answers to itself, that derives its power not from an open system, but from a closed system is a tyranny and prone to a failure-denial cycle in which each failure is then covered up by greater abuses of power until the disaster can no longer be covered up.
The science of the “Science is settled” crowd isn’t an open system of skeptical inquiry, but a closed system of centralized authority funded and controlled by special interests, beholden to political agendas and intolerant of dissent. It has the same relationship to science that the various People’s Democracies had to democracy.
The response of the science settlers to the serious questions that have been raised about their unscientific advocacy has been to demand a more closed system, to hide more data, to urge newspapers to stop printing letters from anyone who questions Global Warming and to even propose the imprisonment of Warming critics.
This isn’t the confident attitude of a field that believes it has the facts on its side. It‘s the authoritarian response of panicked overlords who have become too comfortable with their routine of morning show alarmist appearances and the rushing flow of grant money paid to stave off the apocalypse.
Bad science often pays better than good science. There’s more money in unveiling an invalid research study that is sure to show up in 200 newspapers tomorrow and start a a new diet crazy the day after than a methodically researched piece of work that demonstrates that staying healthy is a matter of hard work and other elements that are outside an individual’s control.
There’s more money in predicting an apocalypse that can only be stopped with trendy progressive policies than the recognition that environmental debates are complex and often come down to a tug of war between competing interests. Reality doesn’t pay. Politicized and prostituted science does.
The mythologization of science, like the cowboy movie, always had a loose relationship to reality, but still derived from it, dressing up reality, rather than entirely displacing. It has now become the idealization of a murdered ideal by the people who murdered it.
Science has become a substitute religion for secularists who imagine that they are more intelligent than religious people because they are more skeptical, when in reality the things that they are skeptical about are the ones that don’t touch on their own unexamined and unquestioned beliefs.
Like the old joke about the Communist who boasts that like the American he too can shout, “America is worthless!”, challenging someone else’s dogma is not skepticism, it’s antagonism. This attitude has leaked into the scientific community which eagerly rushed out to condemn opponents of vaccination, but has much less to say about the pervasive culture of fraud in medical research.
The Cosmos crowd have always been eager to mock televangelists predicting the end of the world, but have little to say about Sagan’s equally bogus predictions about the end of the world. They made science into a culture filled with ‘awe and wonder’ as if the universe were their own private church, while jettisoning the rational inquiry and reasoned debate.
There is nothing to cheer about the return of Cosmos. It’s not science, instead it’s more of the popularized punditry that distorts science into an absolute dogma with a cynical agenda
