Obama Doesn’t Care About Homeless Vets, And THIS Proves It,DO YOU AMERICA???

Five years ago, President Barack Obama promised to end veteran homelessness, but like Jon Conradi, a contributor for Laura Ingraham’s lifestyle website Lifezette, pointed out, “thousands of our nation’s finest [still] remain without a home.”

As many as 840,000 men and women who have served in the uniform of the United States went to sleep without a home on at least one night in 2014.

Many combat veterans find themselves homeless through the evil of drug addiction — of every 10 veterans returning from overseas conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, one of them suffers from substance abuse. […]

And one in every three of those veterans is also suffering from post-tramatic stress disorder. Many fall through the cracks, get lost in the bureaucratic flurry of papers, and disappear onto the streets.
Obviously, we all knew from the get-go that Obama could not really end something as complex as veteran homelessness. The problem lies with the fact that Obama prefers blessing Syrian immigrants and illegal immigrants with undeserved freebies instead of trying to at least take care of our much more deserving veterans.

Speaking of which, the Veterans Administration remains as backlogged and dysfunctional as before.

“In our view, the administration has done absolutely nothing,” explained Dan Caldwell, legislative and political director of Concerned Veterans for America. “In fact, they held up things that could make things better.”

Alabama Republican Rep. Bradley Byrne echoed this sentiment, saying, “I see no improvement at all.” 



“He’s proven over and over again that he does not care about veterans,” he added, pointing to Obama’s recent veto of a military spending bill. “He does not care about the military.”

Yep. Instead he cares about everybody else, including those who do not even respect our laws

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 'CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS'. OUR RIGHTS, FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES ARE UNALIENABLE MEANING THEY ARE ENDOWED ON US BY OUR CREATOR, GOD ALONE! WE HAVE NO OTHER AUTHORITY TO WHICH WE MUST GO IN ORDER TO HAVE AND EXERCISE OUR RIGHTS. OUR CONSTITUTION SERVES 'ONLY' AS A WRITTEN GUARANTEE FROM GOVERNMENT THAT IT WILL NOT INFRINGE ON OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS, FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES !!!

OUR COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. THEY ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF OUR SUCCESS AS A COUNTRY. A COUNTRY WITHOUT GOD IS AS A SHIP WITHOUT A RUDDER TOSSED TOO AND FRO BY THE STORMS OF THIS WORLD TO END ONLY IN SHIPWRECK. AS TRUE PATRIOTS WE MUST STAND IN PLACE OF THAT MISSING RUDDER STEERING OUR COUNTRY BACK TO GOD AND OUR CONSTITUTION!!!

WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER TO HONOR OUR NATIONS VETERANS, THOSE WHO HAVE MADE THE NECESSARY SACRIFICES UP TO AND INCLUDING THE GIVING OF ONES LIFE IN DEFENSE OF OUR GOD, CONSTITUTION AND COUNTRY! IT IS A DEBT WE CAN NEVER REPAY! THEY DESERVE BOTH HONOR AND RESPECT AND IT IS OUR GOAL TO SEE THAT THEY GET IT!!!

Real people, real lives
In addition to the problems with trauma and substance abuse, homeless women veterans have to struggle with issues that are missing from male homelessness. The lack of well-paying jobs and a greater stress on family housing are also factors, but the problem of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) is found nearly exclusively in female veterans. MST is the term for sexual assault or harassment during military service and over 24 percent of all female veterans have been identified by the VA as suffering from it. In comparison, less than two percent of male veterans have been subjected to it. Although MST has been linked to Post Trauma Stress Disorder (PTSD), the rate that the VA awards disability for PTSD caused by MST is significantly lower than other causes.
 When we do think of women vets, it’s often as victims of military sexual trauma, MST, an issue for many women (and also men) in the armed forces
