MEN OF PEACE
"I don't know how to save the world. I don't have the answers or The Answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth's inhabitants, none of us will survive - nor will we deserve to." Leonard Peltier

A U.S. Marines Letter to Dianne Feinstein

A U.S. Marines Letter to Dianne Feinstein Senator Dianne Feinstein, I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one. I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America. I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man. I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public. We, the people, deserve better than you. Respectfully Submitted, Joshua Boston
Cpl, United States Marine Corps 2004-2012 ************************************************************************************************************************************* This is not about simply “registering” the weapons in question, this is about the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which states: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” This is the fundamental issue of this “gun ban” talk. If we go and say that a person who is a legal resident of the U.S. and has not committed any crimes cannot own a weapon that has a capacity greater than ten rounds, then what has become of the Constitution of the U.S.? The right to bear Arms is not solely segregated to hunting rifles and the such, that was a given in 1776. No, the right to bear arms includes weapons with which one may defend himself not only from criminals, but also invaders, and last but not least, a tyrannical government. The issue is not semi-auto’s or pistols, the issue is with the evil beasts who would go and kill innocents. They would not stop if we banned guns, they would find some other means by which they could carry out there atrocities. As far as just registering our weapons, the proposed legislation goes much farther than that, it would ban all selling or buying of the banned weapons, registering of those that people possess, a two hundred dollar tax on each weapon, as well as a picture of the weapon and finger prints. Case-in-point: this will not suddenly make the people that would commit mass murder “go away” and this is in direct violation of the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3877614038906&l=c2a0bb898f
