"I don't know how to save the world. I don't have the answers or The Answer. I hold no secret knowledge as to how to fix the mistakes of generations past and present. I only know that without compassion and respect for all Earth's inhabitants, none of us will survive - nor will we deserve to." Leonard Peltier

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a ready-made caliphate king in the Time of Obama

Media hype rides on romanticizing revolutions no matter how evil in bloodlust and by creating tantalizing mysteries and myths around their heinous leaders.

Pumping the mythical, the mysteries and plain mist around the likes of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,  the head of the Islamic State, formerly the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), they believe will draw in readers and viewers like flies to spilled honey.

Even amid the agonizing cries of the captured, the modern-day mainstream media continue to shoehorn fake enigmas on guttural monsters.

Hyping the hype, they create monster myths that romanticize the current leader of the Islamic State who behead, crucify and bury alive those they mercilessly hunt down.

“No one knows anything about him.  “He can be a Robin Hood. He could be Dr. Evil. It’s very hard to fight a myth,” said Patrick Skinner of the Soufan Group, a security consulting firm.” (NBC News June 16, 2014)

If Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s a Robin Hood, then Barack Obama’s an America-loving president.

Baghdadi’s a 42-year-old Samarra-born jihadist yahoo who went all the way from a U.S. detention camp to the top of the jihadist universe and a $10 million bounty on his head with no one barring his way.

Like so many freed from Club Gitmo, Baghdadi always got a pass.

“He ended up at Camp Bucca in 2005, where the commander in charge of the U.S. detention facility could not have imagined he would one day be capturing city after city in Iraq. (NBC News)

“He didn’t rack up to be one of the worst of the worst,” said Col. Ken King, who oversaw Camp Bucca in 2008 and 2009.

“Baghdadi may have tried to manipulate other detainees or instigate reactions from the guards, but he knew the rules well enough not to get in serious trouble.

“The best term I can give him is savvy,” said King, who first spoke to the Daily Beast.

“The colonel recalled that when Baghdadi was turned over to the Iraqi authorities in 2009, he remarked, “I’ll see you guys in New York,” an apparent reference to the hometown of many of the guards.

“But it wasn’t menacing. It was like, ‘I’ll be out of custody in no time,’” King said.

What in the name of God do these monsters have to do before they are regarded as menacing!

“He’s managed this secret persona extremely well and it’s enhanced his group’s prestige.”(NBC News)

What some people call prestige others would call infamy.

“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the head of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), has been careful to reveal little about himself and his whereabouts.” (BBC, July 5, 2014) “Before appearing in a video delivering a sermon in Mosul in July, there were only two authenticated photos of him.”

Brutal terrorists and tyrants have a way of being dragged out of their hidey-holes and exterminated like rats.  Saddam Hussein, cowering in a spider hole was dragged out into the sunlight by American troops in 2003.

Osama bin Laden, hiding in plain sight at his is compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan was sold out for the proverbial 30 pieces of silver.

In the case of the raging Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, it is said that even his own fighters reportedly do not speak about seeing him face to face.

“The ISIS chief also appears to wear a mask to address his commanders, earning the nickname “the invisible sheikh”. (BBC)

But “the invisible sheikh” is living on borrowed time and will someday meet a fate similar to that of Saddam and bin Laden.

Blinking like a neon sign in the media mist that surrounds Baghdadi is the suggestion that he was “radicalized” during the 4-year stint when he was held captive at Camp Bucca, a US facility in southern Iraq where many al-Qaeda commanders were detained.

Baghdadi’s media-created super myth can be blown off in a single Ahh-Choo!  The leader of the Islamic State is, in reality,  a ready-made Caliphate king.

Ready made, in the sense that the time was right for his debut in the civilized world.

One peek over the top of his killing field agenda would tell him the time for caliphate takeover of the world couldn’t possibly be more perfect.

His buddies are already flooding the southern borders of the Great Satan.  Like mosquitoes easily swatted away, only a handful of airstrikes have been conducted by the Americans in a string of towns near Irbil, Iraq.

How Baghdadi and his terrorists must have rolled in raucous laughter when they read how the word ‘terrorist’ had been government-removed from the American lexicon.

How they must have cheered when five top Taliban generals were released all to get deserter Bowe Bergdahl back.

It’s downright convenient for radical jihadists that America spies on its own people rather than them.

Meanwhile, it’s no myth that Baghdadi happened along in the Time of Obama.
