Scaremongering Tells Time on Doomsday Clock

Barack Hussein Obama’s deplorable presidency was mercifully replaced by the one of Donald J. Trump.

Anxiety ridden for eight long years of watching their country slipping further into decline, little people sent up rousing cheers;the mainstream media began searching for more cunning ways to undermine the new presidency;ganging up together, feminists, jihadists and celebrities were at home posing with pink p**sy caps in front of the mirror, readying for a screaming, 2 million strong worldwide Women’s March, scheduled for the following day.

News sites like Canada Free Press heaved great sighs of relief when taking down the Obama Countdown Clock that had been up on their covers for eight, seemingly endless, long years.

As of Thursday,  a new clock began stealing Countdown limelight.

Scientists yesterday moved their Doomsday Clock to two-and-a-half minutes from midnight—the closest they say we’ll come to global catastrophe in 64 years (partly because of the 7-days-in-power Donald Trump)—live streaming it for good measure.

Why was the Doomsday Clock kept hidden during the Clinton and Obama regimes?

As of yesterday, the sky is falling and Chicken Little is out there flapping its wings and squawking that the world is edging perilously closer to Armageddon.

But the monotonous tick-tocking of the clock became downright frenetic when politics leaped in to shove its hands forward.

Climate change has suddenly become more lethal than nuclear weapons.

Krauss and Titley “manage” the clock?

‘The United States now has a president who has promised to impede progress on both of those fronts,’ the pair said.

‘Never before has the Bulletin decided to advance the clock largely because of the statements of a single person,’ the two scientists wrote in a statement.

‘But when that person is the new president of the United States, his words matter.’
Guess the words of the ‘old’ president who brashly told the world in 2008: “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States”  don’t matter to the Doomsday Clock watchers.

Notice how Iran, to whom ex-president Obama gave the green light for nuclear weapons manufacture is not included on their list?

You can only earn respect for “scientific expertise” not be automatically granted it, Nobel Laureate or not.

And therein lies the rub: the Doomsday Clock is a creative way to push man-made Global Warming/Climate Change.

The scientists who “manage” the Doomsday Clock should be more scientific than political if they want the masses to show any respect for their sky-is-falling Doomsday Clock.
